Pleasant atmosphere, very tasty food, large portions and friendly staff. I recommend it and will happily come back.

I ordered sausage salad and unfortunately only got the salad with tasteless Lyoner salad sausage instead of Cervelat. I think this should be noted on the menu.

The cola I ordered wasn't a cola in terms of taste. The coup was very good and beautifully decorated. I like the ambience a little warmer. The service was top.

Great location! Staff friendly, nice. But the service has room for improvement, our drinks were empty and I would actually have liked to have had a piece of cake or something else. We then paid at the counter, and apart from the one drink order we were ignored.

I had hamburgers for lunch. Unfortunately, I had never eaten such a terrible burger: cold, bland, pale, more bread than meat, I had to look for cheese (additional charge of CHF 2.00!) and the small portion of fries had to be shelled out at an additional CHF 4.80. That was definitely the last time (also for my other 5 colleagues) that I stopped there. It's actually a shame: the operators could have a pearl right on Lake Constance!

I go to the pier once or twice every year during my vacation. The self-service menu is small, so you don't need a trained chef. The crispy fish was lukewarm, the hamburger was large, and the meat was dry. There is still room for improvement.

The kitchen offers simple dishes, but they are probably good. Lots of guests on the terrace. We had hamburgers, fries and salad. Everything was good. We'd love to come back.

We arrived with our boat and were given a very warm welcome. The service was super friendly and organized. Everyone ate ice cream (super delicious 👌) and enjoyed the ambience on Lake Constance.

I agree with Ben's comment, 75 CHF for 2 baskets of really average quality fish, 1 portion of fries and 1 large bottle of water, all self-service!!! We pay for the view but without the quality.

Burgers with a view! Wow, really brilliant, unfortunately we were probably there at the wrong time because we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our burgers, even though it was already after 1:00 p.m. when we ordered. But the burgers and the view definitely made up for it. We will be happy to come back and hope that there will be less activity on the terrace. Thanks and greetings from Winterthur (Switzerland)...

Good food, great ambience, good service

We come to eat regularly. Unfortunately the quality is no longer what it used to be. It looks more like mass production. A pity. Service remains very friendly as always. Bravo! Very nice place by the lake. Like a vacation

Cool atmosphere right by the lake, away from the street. Ideal for a bike tour. Service was excellent, we were self-service, we did great. But the employees at the checkout are also nice. Next time I'll let myself be served again, there's more choice. But a great place, fine salads, good crispy snacks without beer batter

Very nicely located restaurant with a beautiful terrace right on the most beautiful lake in Switzerland, Lake Constance! The waitresses were very nice and the food came quickly after ordering. We had Flädeli soup, a fitness plate with Chnusperli and fries and ice cream for dessert. We enjoyed it wonderfully, the salad was fresh, the chili peppers were hot and tasty and the fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. The location is beautifully situated, the restaurant and the toilets are very clean. All in all, we really liked it, we can highly recommend it and would be happy to come back if we get the chance!!!

Addendum 4.5.23: they still have to practice, they don't have the pagers under control! The dishes are finished at random, one guest receives, the other person waits until the first one is finished... the rest. It's max. half full, what do you do when the terrace is full? 1 point deducted! 2021...finally open again 😍 Corona measures well implemented, partitions between the tables on the terrace, staff very friendly and humorous, burgers delicious, as always 😋 Love-it, goodbye 😍

We were welcomed very attentively and were assigned the reserved seats. We were immediately asked about food and drink. As soon as you order, they send things already on the table. We enjoyed the delicious lunch. The service worked perfectly and we were asked more than once if everything was OK. O. be. Because we wanted to pay separately it took a little longer. The service employee Susanne was confident in her work. She didn't let herself be disturbed. Really professional. When we left the restaurant we were warmly thanked for our visit and wished us a good continuation of our hike. I can highly recommend the Peer restaurant.

Fine food and very friendly service man! Shrimp as well as the perch and the miller's-style fish tasted excellent. Price/performance is right.

We were there for lunch on Wednesday with 11 people. Only a short reservation from the table that same morning. In the wonderful sunshine there were a lot of guests on site and we were all mixed up with our orders...since we were from near and far...and wanted to meet up as a family briefly after our father's funeral the day before and one Our brother-in-law's birthday on Wednesday. Despite so many guests, we were all served quickly and very friendly. And above all, everyone enjoyed it!! From the Pier Burger...to the soup...to the fine Schnipo with fries, which was very...delicious!! The wonderful view of the German shore...including beautiful Lake Constance...simply a wonderful place with a very fine menu and family-run business that makes you feel good! A big thank you and good health!

The Pier Restaurant only has the “advantage” of being located directly on Lake Constance. The view of the lake is beautiful at almost any time of day, so I would recommend that all visitors choose a seat right by the window if possible. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful, and it is particularly practical for wheelchair users that the toilets are on the same floor. The service was pleasant, the food was very good - only the fries were a little salty for my taste.

Great ambience, great view of the lake, the food is very good, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, child-friendly with a cute playground right next to the restaurant The only shame was that there was no area for changing diapers in the restaurant. But there is enough space for the stroller.

Despite it being a host Sunday, our hiking group was served a wonderful lunch, of course after booking in advance. Both the cuisine and the service impressed all of our hikers. Can only be recommended.

Hey 🙋‍♂️ Nice restaurant, although I haven't really eaten there yet 😅 The pier is in a great location, right on the lake, you can practically swim in, it's a bit off the main road and therefore very quiet. The view is great and when I spend a little time here I like to sit in one of the beach chairs or deck chairs, watch the goings-on on the lake and have a drink. You can also watch sunsets from here and the atmosphere is generally pleasantly quiet. The staff is friendly and quick. The pier is well, competently and happily managed. As mentioned, I haven't eaten here yet, but the food looks rather upscale and tasty, and there is a large selection of wines. The prices correspond to the region, the location and the quality. From time to time there are events such as dinners with musical accompaniment. Even though I don't have any children, I have to praise the small playground because the little boy in me spontaneously feels like having fun there. Not far to the east of the pier there is a jetty where you can swim and there is a floating trampoline. You can park at the pier or above the railway crossing, there is a large, paid car park there, I always stand there. I wish you a nice visit to the pier.

Absolutely unfriendly and immobile. Even the greeting was absolutely zero. When asked if I can sit outside: the answer is no, it is reserved. 50% of places available. Definitely won't eat here.

Eating gluten-free? None! This is rejected rather unfriendly and with very general reasons, even for all coupe/ice cream balls. We have never experienced this in any other restaurant.

We are simply thrilled. Fine food, very friendly service and a fantastic view. Thanks to the children's playground we also had time for ourselves. Very family friendly menu.

Very nice rest. Food very good, we have been regular guests for 5 years, but the waitress with dark hair is quite arrogant and doesn't like families. She treats them noticeably worse than couples or individuals. The man is very nice, but everyone used to be very loving. Unfortunately, it's a shame but I still recommend it

A great meal on Lake Constance in the village of Utwill at Restaurant Pier. With an extensive menu of dishes and drinks. Good and cared for. We were kindly helped by the staff. Toilet areas also in good order. Good large terrace where you can eat. Highly recommended if you are in Uttwil.

We were able to hold the baptism dinner in this beautiful restaurant right on the lake. All guests were very excited about the view and felt like they were at the sea. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The food was excellent, thank you very much. If we plan a next small event, we will hold it again in this location. 🍀

Non-carbonated drinks... not real cola but some kind of powder or syrup. Bread was already on the table before I came (who knows for how long and who had their fingers in it) Waitress was very nice and quick. However, ashtrays are cleaned and food is touched immediately afterwards without washing hands... No thanks, goodbye appetite.

the view is just amazing, the service is good but, the food was far less than average. Our spring rolls were still frozen inside and the burger was so bad I didn't even finish it. The fries (extra salty) also come as a nice hidden expense, so careful.

Beautiful terrace, very friendly staff, very tasty burgers! However, I have to deduct one star because the price of 12.90 CHF for a coupe that only contains 2 scoops of ice cream seems too high to me. For 12.90 I would have expected at least 3 balls.

I was able to spend a few days on holiday in Uttwil and visited the pier several times. Recommendation... Definitely go out to eat. The salad with schnitzel ear is world class... Everything else is also very fine and fresh. Everything was rounded off by a very nice staff. Fast and friendly 😉, greetings to my big name Kerstin. I'm looking forward to the next visit 👍👍👍👍

Went on the eBikes today and stopped at the Pier restaurant in Uttigen. Since we are currently detoxifying our bodies, we were unfortunately only allowed to enjoy a cappuccino. The location is very nice right on Lake Constance with a great view. The staff was very friendly. We would be happy to come back and let us be pampered with culinary delights.

Bei kühlem windigem Wetter ein Aussenrestaurant zu finden, ist bei diesen Corona-Einschränkungen nicht einfach. Mit etwas Glück ist’s hier draussen noch erträglich, nicht zuletzt dank den WindschutzWänden. Die kleine Zwischenverpflegung, natürlich mit Fisch war schmackhaft, preiswert und die professionelle, gastfreundliche Bedienung hebt diese Restauration hervor. Hier stimmt‘s auch dann, wenn die Innenräume ab Juni 21 wieder geöffnet sein werden. Da wollen wir bestimmt wieder einmal hin, per Fahrrad dem See entlang, kann man es nicht übersehen.

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung vom Hotel Frohsinn in Uttwil genossen wir einen entspannten Abend mit feinem Abendessen. Wir wurden herzlich von einer Servicemitarbeiterin empfangen und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Knusperli und Salat waren ausgezeichnet und auch das Dessert schön angerichtet. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und auch noch erschwinglich. Ich selbst bin grosser Fan des Hamburger PIER style der im Foto zusehen ist. Gerne wieder!

Wir sind heute mit 2 Kindern spontan eingekehrt. Zum Glück haben wir noch einen Platz gefunden. Der Ort war sehr gut frequentiert. Wir haben 2 Gerichte bestellt, und 2 leere Teller für die Kinder, so dass wir teilen konnten. Die Portionen waren sehr reichlich. Vor allem bei den Felchenknusperli waren wir positiv überrascht, wieviel Fisch es gab! im Moment sind die langen Tische auf der Terrasse in 4er Abschnitte eingeteilt und mit Milchglas-Scheiben abgetrennt. So sieht man leider vom See nicht unbedingt viel. Es ist aber eine akzeptable Einschränkung.
