I ate there for lunch. A sandwich + a drink + a quiche cost me more than 12 CHF... I think it's very expensive. But the desserts looked appetizing. If the rest hadn't cost me so much, I would have tried. Damage

We read good things about them, so we visited them while in Geneva. Cozy little shop. Very nice service. The cakes are delicious, made from good ingredients. The coffee is divine. We also brought salad and baguettes, which were also first class.

After hearing only good things about this bakery I finally went there. Arrived at 7 a.m. and greeted with a smile by the 2 saleswomen. I had a hazelnut frangipane galette des rois and it was delicious.

Dear, I would like to express my deep appreciation for the exceptional quality of your products, in particular the trompe l'oeil and the delicious banana cake, which have always filled me with satisfaction in the past. Your bakery has created a welcoming atmosphere that I have always greatly appreciated. However, I would like to share a less pleasant experience that occurred today during my visit. When I arrived, I was not greeted, despite my two attempts at hello. The older lady in a cap who served me was remarkably unfriendly. Unpleasantly, she pointed out that payment by card was subject to a minimum of 5 francs. Although my purchase amounted to 4 francs, she finally accepted, but her attitude showed obvious discontent. Over the past four years, I have been a loyal customer, often purchasing products for less than 5 francs, without any prior comments addressed to me. It may be appropriate to post this minimum payment policy, to avoid future misunderstandings. I want to emphasize the importance of maintaining exemplary customer service, as this interaction left a less favorable impression, calling into question my loyalty to your establishment. Very Swiss, in that the service is very cold, the setting is somewhere between ugly and clinical, but the pastries and breads are well executed. They have good and original sweet stuff, correct sandwiches. There are other branches around.

I am very disappointed with my experience. I expected to find a wide choice of pastries as promised on the Google photos/Instagram page. Instead, only salty food and only 3 or 4 pastries chasing each other. Very disappointing. I took a black forest cherry with a tasteless taste. The saleswoman was very cold, not smiling. The reception leaves something to be desired. Too bad. I won't come back

Indeed one of the best bakeries in town. I love their pain au chocolat but wish it was slightly less ‘bready’. Lovely treat and they make everything there.

Original and really well made desserts. I’ve tasted most of them, but for me, the one that stands out is the Black Forest “apple” cake! Wow, it’s delicious!!! A delicious morello cherry/cherry cake in the middle with a vanilla mousse around it. All coated in fine white chocolate and coated with a thin layer of fruity flavor. The execution is perfect and the experience is incredible. Everything is crunchy!!! Supporting evidence!!! I have eaten this pastry several times and it was always excellent, except once when it was sprinkled with a little too much kirsch. Normally, the taste of Kirsch is well masked.

The products are fresh and homemade thanks to the two master baker owners. However, the attitude I would say "without embarrassment" of the waitresses who do not take care of the customers neglect them and are borderline unpleasant...what can I say...not to mention that the "tribune de Genève" newspaper is optional. ..

I've been coming to this bakery for a while, the food is good, slight fondness for pastries 😊 It's been twice that I come across a super pleasant lady with glasses unlike the regular one who is dry😩 I even came across her one lunchtime I wanted to eat there when I reported her she had put the things in bags and made me think that next time I should always warn him in a sharp tone. It seems to me that this is his job 🤔 In any case I would come back more often on Wednesdays if I always have a welcome like that 😁pleasant, friendly and professional. I only give 3 stars because nothing to say about the food 😋

By far the best pain au chocolat in Geneva!! The cornbread is exceptional as is the pastrami sandwich. The salads are great! A real treat, well done to the bakers!

An extraordinary little bakery - tea room! I went there at 5:30 a.m. on a weekday and was greeted by the bakers with a big smile. The toasts were extraordinary and the price more than attractive. Well done!!!!!

Bit chainey, my iced coffee was hot and they had ran out of, or didn’t ever have pain au chocolats. Nice area with good outside seating. Next to a road but wide roundabout so quite spacious.

Excellent bakery. I particularly like the fine apple tart, the cranberry bread and the fig/hazelnut bread, their Paris-Brest and the cobblestones (chocolate)😋. You will definitely find a product that will satisfy you😊.

I really liked this bakery for its tea room aspect, however, recently, a slightly chubby blonde woman keeps talking loudly which makes the experience horrible, it makes you wonder if you shouldn't bring medicine so you don't have headaches. Until this issue is resolved, I will not return.

Pretty tasty.. I got a birchermusli, a nut tart and coffee and was quite good and reasonably priced I think at 11 francs (for geneva/switzerland standards). To me this is a better alternative than breakfast at some hotels in the area, more affordable yet yummy and filling, and you have more choice too.

Excellent bakery... Absolutely worth testing!

Just pitiful! A picture is worth a thousand words... But for clarification, the bread is clearly not fresh, moist and rubbery. As for the filling, it's clearly cheating the customer, a shame to sell products made like this.

Great products, everything is delicious, I regularly buy some stuff there and it’s always very good. But the waitress is systematically unpleasant. Even more if you take some time to choose, you can feel she’s not happy to wait. I don’t remember seeing her smiling, not even once. Polite but unpleasant.

First and last pass. We cannot afford to present ourselves as a bakery and pastry shop and boast about the prices collected in pastries when 3/4 of the shop's displays are filled with sandwiches, pokbols, breads and savory tarts. The pastry display is relegated to the back left of the store and is barely visible. You announce at the entrance that you take Amex, but when you insert your card to pay, the machine does not take it and it is only by asking the cashier that it informs you that their new terminal does not accept it. not take. As for the service, it is simply pitiful. I finally pay for my order with another card, the cashier places the box of pastries on the counter without a word. I am surprised and politely ask him for a suitable bag that the pastries provide for the pastry boxes in order to transport them without damage. She tells me in a barely audible voice that it’s 20 cents a bag. I told her that she only had to count these 20 cents instead in order to pay for everything at once. And still no reaction or response from him. If it wasn't out of respect for the work of the pastry artisans, I would have left all the pastries to him and canceled the purchase. Moreover, this is a message to all the Geneva shops which promote themselves as pastry shops or chocolate shops (but whose business is really a bakery-sandwich shop), tell your cashiers (because we cannot qualify as salespeople) that they must come back to earth and leave aside their attitude which is anything but commercial and human. Otherwise, if they cannot make this effort, change jobs so as not to have to endure direct contact with customers. They are the ambassadors of your work as artisans, and therefore they must respect it by offering a courteous and personalized service to customers and not just putting the products in boxes and collecting the money. . Because if this is the case, it would be simpler and even more profitable for you to offer your products in self-service and ultimately have a single cashier to collect cash from customers or an automatic checkout like the supermarkets do. Moreover, you will be doing them the greatest service by sending them for continuing education to learn the basics of what it is to be a salesperson in a store or even internships in other bakery and pastry stores in other cantons or internationally. Finally, also remember to stop circulating this false image of you on social networks as a bakery-pastry shop (or chocolate shop, for that matter invisible) and to remove old photos where the displays are filled with pastries because it is anything but true. We cannot afford to sell ourselves as a bakery when we have 3/4 of our shop filled with sandwiches, salads, pokbols, savory tarts, it borders on false advertising. The impression we get when leaving your store (I can't call it a boutique) is the smell of salads, tarts salted with vinegar and fat which take over all the good smells that can give off artisanal bread and homemade pastries. Of course, there is everything, but no common thread and a lot of disillusionment if we only rely on your website and your online publications, too bad. P.S: my receipt can confirm to anyone my real visit and my purchases at this bakery.

I looked for a bakery to get some good bread for Christmas. I was not deceived. The bread is very good and keeps quite well which is difficult to find these days. Not to take anything away, the staff at the checkout are calm and smiling, it's super pleasant. Well done again! I recommend this bakery without any problem.

the service is quite cold and even no “au revoir” after I paid by cash (because they don’t accept credit card unless more than 10 CHF),and they even charged me more money because they thought I ordered a coffee(but I didn’t),I gave them euros and they gave me back CHF...well, what’s more ,the croissant is not so good I didn’t even finish it. Bref ,faut éviter absolument. Double champion suisse de la boulangerie ? c’est une blague non ?
