I can highly recommend Pizzeria Pierino. One of the best pizzerias I know! No wonder when people line up at Piero's (on the Grotzenbüel, in the middle of the Braunwald ski area) to get their hands on one of these super-fine pizzas. It can happen that you have to wait 5 minutes longer. But the wait is worth it. If you're clever, treat yourself to a nice drink or a glass of wine in one of the restaurants on Grotzenbüel while you wait and enjoy being ❤️

Pizza Pierino on the slopes in Braunwald. 35 minutes waiting time without pizza, my wife was insulted by the staff (2 men) (the F word in Italian several times). Crying child, no food, never again.

We first got to know Pierino's pizzas on the ski slope in Braunwald, where you can enjoy a small selection of pizzas at Grotzenbühl for lunch. In the restaurant the selection is much larger and almost overwhelming😉. Don't make the mistake and stick with the standard pizzas. There is so much to try. Our favorite is the one with hash browns and sausage. Yes, I know, it sounds bizarre and some Italians would turn up their noses, but give the creation a chance because it won't disappoint you. The service team is great and super friendly. Reservations are absolutely a must😉

Worth a visit, even if the place could use a little more Italian art. But the kitchen enhances it. Pizza at its finest and the other dishes are also delicious. Wine list not excessively priced. Very friendly host and friendly staff.

I really wonder how so many good reviews came about here. Either some of them have never eaten really good pizza, or I was just unlucky and made a bad choice. I ordered a prosciutto-funghi pizza and was horrified, the cheapest press-form ham and canned mushrooms and with such a good reputation. I was so disappointed that I even forgot to take a photo of her. The dough was great, the service was friendly and the outside area was fine. And everyone who rates such pizzas as great and delicious should not compare the pizzas here with their frozen pizzas at home, for example. eat one at Napulé in Netstal. Update: Instead of getting better, things are only getting worse. Still canned mushrooms and the ham looks cheaper and is almost inedible. That was it for me, never again Pierino.

Discovery of this pizzeria which is located at the very edge of the canton of Glarus, like a real treasure! I ate I think the best pizza in Switzerland to date! . Cozy cafe with drinks, pizza and dessert. At lunchtime it is full of people. Nice waiters. Delicious cake and coffee.

Very fine food. I had spaghetti Bolognese 😋 and there was a small salad as a starter. But what was absolutely a hit was the bread with the salad. Homemade bread from pizza dough. It was actually still warm. Very fair priced. Including 3dl of cola I paid around 24chf. The food also came promptly.

The service is very friendly. The sandwiches made from pizza dough are a matter of taste. The pizzas are very good.

The "head chef", if that's really who he is, loudly whistled at the two ladies in service in the dining room in front of all the guests as to why the starter hadn't been served yet. It was a miracle that he didn't slam the plate against the wall. SHAME ON YOU! That's not how you treat other people! I would never support this restaurant again!

SUPER ITALIAN CUISINE and soooooooo... a large selection on the menu. 😋 We went for lunch with a group of about 35 people. Everyone was allowed to order à la carte. A real challenge for the kitchen. You have mastered this brilliantly. THANKS

A wonder after descending the Klauspass, the Spanish waitress treated us extraordinarily well and dinner was a delight. They even helped us find accommodation. I would repeat this same night

Not much to compare to in Europe, but quite a tasty place to be. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Family-sized pizza is really quite large - again, not sure if that's the way it is in Europe. Pleasant dining experience, food-wise, with outdoor seating

We liked it very much. There was a happy atmosphere. The restaurant was well attended. People talked in German and Italian and you could almost believe you were in a restaurant somewhere in the warm south instead of in the snowy Glarus region. Friendly and attentive staff. Dogs are welcome. We look forward to the next visit.

They are kind, food is tasty, but their "gluten-free" pizza messed up system fully. Had to recover for two days. I suspect there was loads of gluten in it.

When we had dinner here yesterday I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole menu and especially the pizza was very tasty, and the knife was suitable for cutting the pizza. I think this was the first time I was able to cut a pizza so easily. In addition, the service was also excellent. Even the toilet was mostly clean. I can highly recommend the restaurant. 👍

Yesterday we were able to indulge ourselves again in the Pizzeria Pierino, with the best pizzas we know (and there are many), fine wine and extremely attentive service. We always enjoy coming back to Pierino in Linthal from our Urnerboden holiday home. It's always a culinary and friendly pleasure.

The best pizza we ever had during our Via Alpina!! We strongly recommend the place if you want to rebuild strenght after the Richetlipass and before the Klausenpass! The food was good, the staff was extremely helpful and nice. And Piero was so kind. His tiramisu (hausgemacht) is a real gem "made from the heart". Thanks for the Limencello on the house! We met Piero again the next day in the Volg and he recognized us - he is such a character! keep it up my friend! thanks Piero for your warm welcome! looking forward to stopping again in Linthal and eat one of your pizzas!

Very friendly staff, the pizzas are simply delicious. Unfortunately we had to wait an extremely long time for our food (drinks about 15 minutes, starters about 20 minutes and pizzas about 30-35 minutes). Otherwise very good.
