With a long lead, the best pizza in the forest

Our tolerance was put to a severe test. After the wrong pizzas had been delivered to us three times in the past, I complained about this over the phone the third time. I was told a heartwarming story of an older but very talented pizza maker who was brought to Switzerland specifically because of his talent. Due to severe visual impairment, he was sometimes unable to read the order forms correctly and this would have resulted in very expensive glasses being made. Long story short: in order to avoid incorrect orders, we were asked to order by telephone, which is what we did from then on. Exactly the same this evening. I picked up the phone and ordered 2 pizzas. We were told that delivery would take around 30 minutes. After 52 minutes I called again to find out how my order was going. The lady on the phone admitted that she had forgotten my order, but that the pizzas were already being prepared and would be delivered as quickly as possible. After another 18 minutes the doorbell rang. At this point it might be worth mentioning that the journey from the pizzeria to our house takes less than 2 minutes. If I wasn't mistaken, the boss himself delivered the pizzas to us and immediately apologized for the long wait. I told him it wouldn't work that way. Announce delivery time of 30 minutes and ultimately deliver after 70 minutes. He tried to excuse himself by saying that they were busy this evening - probably unaware that the lady had already admitted on the phone that they had simply forgotten my order. The delivery man/boss made no attempt to accommodate us regarding the bill - not even when I spoke to him directly about it. When I said, I'm sorry, but that would probably have been the last time I ordered from them, I just said, "It's okay." was replied, it was clear to me that the Pizzeria Bosco in Wald did not depend on me as a customer.

By far the best pizza is available here! You can tell that only high-quality ingredients end up on the pizza and that everything is prepared with a lot of love. The finest ham, salami and fresh porcini mushrooms etc. and then from the wood oven, with an unsurpassable taste. Real Italian enjoyment delivered straight to your door, which is why I only order from Bosco.

Whether pizza or chicken schnitzel XXL, simply super good, we have probably ordered pizzas 20-30 times. The fries are the best I've ever eaten. - Delivery service is also good, short waiting times, nice courier.

I think it's a shame that I can't order pizza on my own anymore because it only starts at 30Fr. is delivered. Otherwise fine vegi pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza I wanted was delivered twice without arugula and once the dough was rather soft.

A pizza that invites you to more. I eat my Bosco pizza from you almost every week and am always amazed at how delicious it is. It leaves me with a taste that I want to taste again as soon as possible. The owner is very nice, as is his team. The garden invites you to linger and don't forget the wood oven is one of the few in Zurich that does it well. Fresh ingredients, very good dough and, above all, great pizzaiolo. The best pizza feeling at Bosco. Can only be recommended.

Gone for wood-fired pizza, stayed for product quality that isn't found everywhere every day. Mushrooms, olives and artichokes in particular were a very positive surprise. And of course the farmer's pizza. Keep it up. I am also super grateful for the delivery outside of normal working hours.

I can only recommend Pizzeria Bosco in all respects. It's not just the best pizza in Wald, but the best in the entire region. I have never experienced receiving such a perfect pizza from a delivery service. (Like in a good pizzeria in Italy, fresh from the stone oven) Even after several orders, we were always thrilled with new ones. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are simply fantastic. But it's not just the pizza that impresses, but also the fast service and the friendliness and warmth of the entire team. Please keep it up! Thank you very much, we will order again soon.

We (Kuster family) placed an order for two pizzas today, May 12th, 2023 and I don't even know where to start with the rating. First: The service on the phone and when the delivery person handed over the pizza was not only extremely nice, but also very warm and definitely left a lasting impression on us. I can't remember a time when we've been treated so kindly by a supplier. The pizza was very very tasty. Crispy, not too thick base, with a firm bite, as you would expect from Italian cuisine. My pizza Frutti di Maria was richly filled with ingredients, something I haven't seen in a long time. Most pizzerias are very economical with ingredients, but that was by no means the case here. You will be happy to receive our next order, perhaps even with a personal visit to your restaurant. We're not surprised by the rating rate of 4.7/5 stars given this good service. We drive 800 km to Switzerland and get the best pizza we have ever eaten!! Very friendly staff that fulfills all special requests. I can only recommend this pizzeria to everyone!

Wanted to order there again. The pizza is nice, but you often have cardboard on the slice if you eat straight from it and cut on it. This is probably due to the corrugated cardboard on which the pizza is placed. I also think the prices are a little too high, but I still liked ordering there in the past. When I saw today that they required a minimum order of €30 for a delivery in Wald, I canceled it. I prefer to order from one of the various other pizza providers in Wald.

Really, really good pizzas here from Wald! Freshly prepared with good ingredients and baked in a wood oven. You simply notice the difference to an electric oven - and it's positive! A clear recommendation from me and gladly again!

Yesterday evening (my husband, almost 2 year old daughter) went there for pizza for the first time. Very warm welcome, a very cute, Mediterranean-style little garden seating area that invites you to linger and since it is fenced in, our daughter was able to run around to her heart's content. Very child-friendly, she was given Capri Sun as a gift (twice 😀) and a booster seat was immediately provided for her. The pizzas are highly recommended, a delight from the stone oven that makes you feel like you're back in Naples: the best dough ever, fresh ingredients, and we were all more than full. Thanks for the great hospitality, we'll be happy to come back.

I've been looking for quality like this for a long time. The pizzas are freshly prepared directly in front of the customer - the pizzaiolo has mastered his craft perfectly. The pizza tastes unique, fresh, delicious. - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, dough, side dishes... I tasted the difference compared to other pizzas the first time I tried it. The tiramisu is also freshly prepared, not a frozen product. Very friendly and courteous contact and team. - We pick up the pizzas directly on site. I can only recommend this pizzeria 🌞
