Good tea, the infusion with fresh peppermint leaves is convincing. The coffee is standard. The service is polite and young, the food is not recommended. The Smörrebröt consisted of two large slices of "Zwieback" (sourdough bread) and the spread was bland and bland. However, the price of just under 20 francs is too high for what is on offer; it should be more. All in all, I'd be happy to drink again, but not to eat.

A really great team, cool chef who even makes gluten-free possible. I recently had a small cake on site and even a full brunch on Monday during a team outing. I was very disappointed with my visit to Viktor. The waiter couldn't tell me whether there was lactose in a product that I would have liked to eat. Some allergens and intolerances are declared on the menu. It is of little use if you cannot provide information about all offers. You pay 0.50 more for lactose-free milk (as well as vegan milk!). I find that very strange and embarrassing for a restaurant like this. Especially since the proportion of milk in the already small, albeit fine, cappuccino was about half a DL. Lactose-free milk costs 0.10 per liter more than organic milk (which is hopefully a given in such an expensive and trendy restaurant). Solidarity with difference ends with your wallet. Shameful!

It has a large terrace for summer, it's Saturday and Sunday. It's a good place to watch the crowd while sipping your drink. Very good coffee. It's the place I would recommend for good coffee.👍😊

Wow, the surprise of the day! Very invitingly furnished, you'll want to sit there a little longer. Great meals for in between meals. We were also served very friendly. We would love to come again!

It was my first time there and I ordered the Arabiata hotdog but I couldn't eat it because it was too spicy. They gave me the Danish hot dog instead. thank you very much. However, I think it takes a lot of time if you have a break for 1 hour, I would rather go somewhere faster. But otherwise it was great, thank you.

Today I wanted to try the bao buns. Popular street food in Asia. Ordered one of them at the bar, the classic: pulled pork. (Pork belly meat) Simply delicious 😋 for a small hunger!

Coffee break after a visit to the market. You sit in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Solothurn's old town. Delicious coffee which, to my delight, can be had with oat or soy milk.

On June 24, 2021, "Viktor", a café-bar with take-away, opened in the heart of Solothurn's old town. The stylish and cozy café can be used as a creative meeting place or as a stress-free way to take part in the market. In the small, two-story café you can drink coffee or tea or have a midday snack. The spacious outdoor terrace invites you to enjoy an aperitif after work. The "Viktor" offers street food from Asia - hot dogs and cakes. To drink there are homemade spritzers, beer and wine, as well as coffee and tea. On the ground floor there is the café bar with a counter and standing room where you can place your order. On the upper floor there is the cozy “living room lounge” with around 30 seats. However, most of the seats are on the terrace directly on the market square, which can accommodate around 70 guests. The "Viktor" is always open from 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m., from Thursday to Saturday it closes at 9 p.m. We were there for the first time and realized that the "Café Victor" was something different and certainly an asset to the city of Solothurn. We were warmly welcomed and served by a cheerful team, which I really liked. We are thrilled and look forward to the next refreshing aperitif with open and interesting people. In my opinion there should be more cool little insider tips like this! If you don't dare, it's your own fault! We will happily go there again.

Finally something different! Fine street food at street food prices! Top. Thats how it is suppost to be! The ambience on the terrace invites you to linger.
