A quick stop at this pizzeria. Good welcome, good food, very charming waitress who does her job to perfection...staff who have our special requests. Lack of signage to find the restaurant... Small arrowed posters on the stairs would be welcome... A good time all the same... THANKS

They told me that at "La Fortuna" they do mixed fried food well. Compliments to chef Cristian, a truly excellent mixed fry, dry, crunchy and very hot accompanied by vegetables, country chips and a nice glass of prosecco. The dish was plentiful but I couldn't leave out the excellent homemade tiramisu. To return!!!

If you are visiting Mandreisio, you have only this option to maintain your mood with a very quality food over value of money. Its really so cheap considering the location (Swiss) (trust me its much cheaper than MAC) I am a usual customer for the past 13 years since its open and they serve a wide range of Italian food. Their pasta and pizza are amazing They offer limited dishes at launch but the dinner will never disappoint you Best desert I have ever had was Creama Catalana Very nice staff family they make you feel u are at home For Arab brothers: This is the best restaurant when you visit Menduizio. Very short walk from foxtown The staff are very nice and always offer advice and know what Muslims should and should not eat Their prices are excellent

The pizza was very good, the problem was that we had to wait an hour for the two pizzas to arrive. The place is nice, but noisy, and it is also located inside an industrial building.

Average pizza, friendly staff but very long waiting times. We arrived at 7.30pm and the first pizza arrived at 9.45pm. Among other things, people who arrived half an hour later received the pizza before us. The waiters apologized several times and another half hour passed from when they told us they were "hanging out the pizzas".

There's plenty of space and it's ideal for a construction site lunch: the only one in the area with honest prices that knows what cooking is. Above all, the pizza is good, the waitresses are very friendly and everything is always clean (including the toilet). The recipes for many dishes on the paper are not like the original (like matriciana, don't dare call it that with customers who know what it is: rather call it pasta with sauce with bacon every now and then) Can be improved: rigor of the recipes, parking on the violent roof and entrance from a third world factory, light in the room, ... It's just that when you enter a place like this you don't expect this care and quality, it's paradoxical ...

Excellent pizzeria with wood oven. We tried multiple types of pizza (ham and mushrooms, zola and speak, diavola and 2/3 other types). Light pasta and top cooking. The only flaw was the excessive wait (more than 40 minutes. There were 8 of us and 2 received their pizzas 5 minutes after the other 6). Absolutely to return.

I have no idea why this place was rated so high. I did not enjoy the pizza, the crust was too chewy and the sauce lacked flavour. I've had better Pizza at mid-night Kebab shops in Zurich. The Ticinese beer was good though - nice clear beer with a beautiful head. I'll definitely have more of that.

Nice place, fast service, affordable prices, nice menu, but I didn't like the fried food at all, it tasted burnt due to the vegetables. Which I also didn't eat. But paid anyway, the waiter was aware of the problem. And the lukewarm beef carpaccio, in reality it was practically cooked, salad and parmesan ditto. I doubt I'll go back.

Wide choice of classic, special and white pizzas. Punctual on collection time. Free drink. I showed up 10 minutes early and was able to watch the preparation of our pizzas: a spectacle! Finding a restaurant that offers takeaway during Corona is more difficult than expected. Luckily, the Pizzeria La Fortuna has its doors open. The restaurant can be found hidden in the industrial building on the 1st floor. The nice waiter even spoke English to us Italian philistines ;) Less than 10 minutes after arriving, we were able to take our pizzas including a free drink with us. Super friendly, first-class pizzas and at a great price. Really great!

Spesso andiamo in questo ristorante per mangiare la pizza che risulta essere sempre ottima. Ieri sera siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti anche dal dessert, semifreddo allo zabaione con frutti di bosco, semplicemente squisito!Personale giovane, professionale e allo stesso tempo simpatico (ma non invadente). Il ristorante è situato in una zona abbastanza industrializzata, l'ambiente è semplice, pulito e senza troppi fronzoli.Si mangia molto bene anche per pranzo.Quando vogliamo una buona pizza da mangiare a casa, spesso optiamo per la loro d'asporto.

Die Pizzeria ist gut "versteckt" in einem Industriegebäude, man kann auf dem Dach parken und dann bequem 1 Etage tiefer in die Pizzerie gehen.Das Ambiente ist modern, hell und freundlich, allerdings bemerkt man dass man in einem Industriegebäude ist.Die Küche ist phantastisch es gibt über 60 verschiedene Pizzen, wer da nichts findet dem kann man nicht helfen. Sie haben einen Holzofen und die Pizzas sind köstlich.Unbedingt ausprobieren...

Io , il mio ragazzo ed i miei amici ci andiamo spesso.Un ristorante che visto da fuori non sembra nulla di ché ma in realtá...Si mangia benissimo.Pizza molto buona e anche tutto il resto è buono.Il piatto forte secondo me è " l'orecchia di elefante " è buonissima e gigante.In compagnia si sta alla grande poiché il ristorante dispone di più sale.I 2 ragazzi che fanno i camerieri sono simpatici e gentilissimi.Che dire... é una buona scoperta andateci!

Location non eccezionale, in una zona e palazzo industriale, ma con ottima possibilità di parcheggio sul tetto.Posto senza fronzoli ma dove, ed è alla fine la cosa più importante, si è serviti in modo impeccabile. Pizze buone, pasta gustosa e in porzioni pantagrueliche e anche altri piatti interessanti.

A nicer surrounding environment wouldn't hurt the restaurant itself...obviously; that shed is ugly and the area is worse! However, the pizza is very good and so is the cooking. The staff were very friendly, the service was quite quick, the prices were very low and the portions were generous. All in all, a good dinner without too many pretensions and without stress. It's also good for families.

Non è la prima volta al Ristorante La Fortuna e non sempre per lavoro. Menù vario e sempre interessante. Sulla qualità di quello che viene servito non sembrano esserci dubbi. Porzioni generose e sempre accompagnate da vini azzeccati. Servizio ottimo e cordiale.Il prezzo é assolutamente in linea con quanto proposto (anzi, mi sarei aspettato di spendere di più).Vivamente consigliato!

In compagnia siamo stati in questo ristorante-pizzeria mercoledi sera. Tutti hanno cenato secondo le loro preferenze. Chi la pizza, chi lo spezzatino di cervo, chi la tagliata di manzo ed altro per la soddisfazione generale. In questo enorme ritrovo c?è un po' di tutto,ristorante, pizzeria,sala da ballo, sala per tombole.Evidentemente non è un posto dove cercare raffinatezza e tranquillità ma, comunque, vale la visita se non altro per la cucina che è decisamente buona. Anche il personale è molto gentile e premuroso.

Ormai da tempo è il nostro ristorante pizzeria di fiducia della zona, la pizza è veramente buona, direi la migliore. Spesso mangiamo anche cucina con dei favolosi piatti, per me la tartare è eccezionale, la consiglio a tutti. In questo periodo ci sono anche dei piatti di selvaggina, noi abbiamo provato il filetto di cinghiale alle castagne e lo spezzatino di cervo ai porcini con polenta taragna... che dire dovete provare!!! Porzioni abbondanti!!I dolci sono una delizia tutti fatti in casa!!Prezzo più che onesto per la qualità ricevuta, anzi rispetto ad altri ristoranti si mangia molto meglio e si paga meno.Personale gentilissimo e attento alle esigenze del cliente.Complimenti!!!

Abboamo cenato diverse volte qui e ci siamo sempre trovati bene, pizza buono e prezzi abbastanza ragionevoli. Ultimamente chiamiamo per take away e sono sempre disponibili, puntuali e precisi.

Nice place in Mendrisio for a pizza and meat. There are also several kind of pasta, with seafood too. It is a little bit hidden, 600 meters Fox Town and the Admiral Casino. But if you have a room at Coronado hotel e.g., it takes just 5 minutes by foot. Strongly suggested!
