Pleasant terrace Small pizza for the price but it was for my son so it was okay...it was good Lasagna OK. Spaghetti with vongoles good but small portion.. Please note: cash payment only (announced on the card)

Pizza base was crispy 👍 but the portion was too small (children's pizza) we were still hungry. Service was friendly but card payment was not possible.

Looking at reviews and it is “mixed”. I have eaten here 3 or 4 times when on my usual bike trips across Switzerland and always find it just about right. Is it the best - no. But service has been good and food has always been decent. Venue and price are good too. But we can only comment on what we get!

Rarely have we been treated so unkindly, apparently as a guest you are more of a nuisance - so the 3-star average is no coincidence. At least the terrace is nice.

Service goes like this, half of the salad was taken wrong, but corrected very quickly. Pizzas small, but filling with a starter. But what bothered me most were the ski boots on the next table, which were drying on the heater. And the fact that the operators had problems with the Internet for cashless payments is not credible to me either, since there was a router next to our table with full power. Then we just paid cash and left.

Too little meat and poor service

Very well eaten! Very friendly staff, arrived quickly and great atmosphere outside.

Unfortunately, impossible to recommend.. We had a pizza and the carbonara.. And frankly both were not good.. The carbonara was bathed in cream and had no taste. And the pizza is as described in Floriane's comment...I regret not having seen this sooner. Too bad, the terrace is nice!

Oh my god *shocked face* The food was heavenly. I do not believe it. The staff was also very generous and nice. The sushi there is very fresh and fishy. The fish is cut right in front of you. You can also choose the thickness for the intense taste :) I would do anything to go there again.

After my wife and I decided not to enjoy our lunch at a snack bar, but to support a local restaurant, especially during the difficult time with Covid, we happened to come to the pizzeria (if you can even call this place that) Locanda. A bicycle bell was taped to the half-open door that overlooked the kitchen. The kitchen looked very worn out. After the bell rang, someone was already there after a very short time. In sweatpants and as if woken up...probably because it was lunchtime. We ordered two pizzas. One with tuna + onion and one Margherita. After 15 minutes the pizza was ready and handed over to us sealed in the box. Price = 27Chf - we gave 30. As we were choosing a nice place to eat outside, we were shocked after opening the box. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or bring the pizza back. Such a disgrace to keep a pizza for 15 francs so small. My palm IS bigger! Unloved yellow onion and some canned tuna thrown on top. Tomato sauce tasted like it was from Aldi. My wife stopped eating after 3 bites because the pizza was dripping with grease and was inedible. I managed to eat half of my tuna. I couldn't force myself to do anything more. The MINI pizza (which is bigger) FROM Migros tastes better.. The value of the pizza + the work invested = max. 3.50 CHF. You want to support a local restaurant but instead you get disappointed. Especially during this time, restaurants should be happy to have customers and thank them for word of mouth and recommendations. My wife and I will definitely not do this.

In my opinion the best pizzeria in the city of Solothurn. Super friendly service.

Sorry but this was the worst pizza eaten to date. Small, not made over a wood fire, dough not tasting too salty and also sprinkled with salt (you could clearly see the grains), elastic cheese to chew for a long time and (vegetarian pizza) small pieces of zucchini and eggplant (raw). !) While we know that eggplant cannot be eaten raw...) no other vegetables. The waitress didn't seem surprised that I left a good third on my plate (despite my hunger!). Will not return there. Maybe their cooking is good for other dishes? I wish it to them in any case!

Unfortunately, the staff was unfriendly (a lady) and the food (pizza) didn't taste that good and was very, very small compared to other pizzerias. However, thank you again and hope that it will be better next time.

Very bad service and the food didn't taste good at all... Ordered with French salad dressing, the service turned around before she was at the table and we then got salad with Italian and French salad dressing, it wasn't appetizing... The rest isn't really edible either...

Unfortunately, no flair of dolce Italia, more disillusionment at the highest level. And as a restaurateur, I can also judge this! *Risotto without salt *Vitello Tonato written in capital letters, but no longer available * Fries well... * Calzone inedible As a family with children, you should avoid the Locanda as you will not be welcomed with a big Italian heart. We made the service staff aware of this, unfortunately without success but rather had the opposite effect, which was actually a shame.

Ordered roast beef with salad and fries with much anticipation. Meat was more like a dry roast (gray-brown) than a pink roast beef. Plus a few thin fries and salad without a drop of sauce. The whole thing for CHF 29.—. Benevolent criticism of the waitress was met with rejection and unfriendly looks. We wanted to make the host (cook?) aware of our perception. Unfortunately, he was sitting at the table with other guests and was engrossed in conversation. Grade: unfortunately absolutely unsatisfactory despite the actually nice ambience. Regarding your comment on this review: Criticism is always a gift to which one could respond with gratitude rather than offence. I still wish you and your restaurant all the best!

Spontaneous dinner with friends in the city of Solothurn. As a starter we shared the antipasti plate and it was more than big enough as antipasti for four people. Afterwards I treated myself to a nice pizza, someone had the steak with fries and the other two had pasta. Everything looked really tasty and everyone was happy. That was really a spontaneously good choice. We will be back.

We were there at lunchtime, the service was very unfriendly and hardly said anything. Some of the salad came in whole pieces and uncut. The mixed salad at the neighboring table had more choice than mine. While we were eating the salad, the main course came, spaghetti with a watery sauce. We didn't particularly like it. Rude when paying and we weren't even told goodbye. We're not coming anymore!

The food was very good. The path to the dining rooms leads past the kitchen, which gave me a very hygienic and clean impression. The negative reviews really surprise me... maybe fakes? Best regards from Frauenfeld and Solothurn
