Pizzeria Madrisa-Mia in Klosters-Serneus

Ordered 6 pizzas for take away. Everything as it should be.

Well, that was enough and not really Italian cuisine. Overcooked pasta with a pretty oily (tomato) sauce.

Classic pizza joint in the mountains. Great atmosphere with the wood burning stove visible for all to see the pizza chef hard at work. Great place to eat if you want a break from the usual mountain fare.

The pizzas are really, really good. I recommend every pizza lover to eat here.

Beautiful restaurant with a great terrace. The service is top and the food is delicious. I love the salad buffet and the pizzas. We really enjoy coming here and can highly recommend it.

First and last visit here for now. The food was good, which accounts for the three stars, but the service was really weak: At the beginning there was a woman who did quite well except that she had to ask several times for each order. But after that it got really bad: no one asked if it was good, cheese for the spaghetti came when half of it had already been eaten. Wine list, none, plates not cleared even 15 minutes after the last bite. Table around us, exactly the same. We then placed the plates at the edge of the table ourselves. We then asked for the bill and the plates were cleared away. Because of this, we didn't order a coffee or a dessert, which unfortunately was only asked after we had already paid and were getting up. End result: They didn't sell any wine, dessert or coffee, so they easily missed out on Fr.20-30.- in revenue...not counting the tip, which of course we didn't give after this thing, although we usually always give 10 % give. Thank the kitchen, thanks to them you have three stars instead of one or two....

Nice restaurant, friendly service. Three pizzas came quickly and were good. Spaghetti came 10 minutes later, as did the chicken, and unfortunately it wasn't cooked through. After correction it was perfect, but that wasn't supposed to happen. There was probably too much going on that evening. Then half of the drinks were forgotten on the bill.

First of all. This review was not created on a whim, but rather I deliberately let it go for a few days. The staff is friendly and they probably have the most modern pizza oven within a 100 kilometer radius. Unfortunately, this is of no use if the quality awareness for the ingredients fails. The Funghi on the Prosciutto et Funghi pizza are from a can. I ate my last canned mushrooms between 1986 and 1990, when fresh mushrooms were no longer allowed to be eaten after Chernobyl. At just under 20.00 for a pizza like this there should be 1.5 fresh mushrooms in it. Then the Piccata Milanese. The pasta was al dente. However, perhaps the kitchen team's expertise is lacking here too. Tomato spaghetti doesn't mean that you cook pasta and then mix two tablespoons of pureed tomatoes into it. You still have to do a little bit with the pureed tomatoes. The fact that the portion size of the side dish was very small did not affect the enjoyment. It was inedible. The egg and Parmiggiano breading was just fine. But here too there was a lack of spice. The meat was absolutely tasteless and when I ate it I always felt like I had a mouthful of water in my mouth. Conclusion: the prices adhere to the Swiss standard in an exemplary manner: pizzas between 15 and 26 CHF. The Piccata Milanese cost 44.-. As for the quality of the food: I will remember it. I haven't eaten so badly in years. The combination of price and quality in this case can be described as usury. With the best will in the world and even with a lot of forbearance, I cannot understand how the rating of 4.3 came about. The only theory I can think of is that it's a different kitchen crew.

2nd visit and the food is amazing. Pizza's are beautifully made and very good portions. Welcoming staff and good comfy booths. Very family and pet friendly!

The quattro formaggi was very good. I wish I could see more cream based pizze on the menu. The waiting time for the desert was also a bit long, but it's worth a try anyways!

We went 2 nights in a row to this restaurant as a group of 10 - 5 adults and 5 children. They were soooooo friendly, accommodating and did fantastic pizzas. Can definitely recommend it!

Pizza was actually very good... but we slowly lost our appetite... we had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes... plus there were 6 children at the table next to us... I have nothing against children ... we have 3 ourselves .... but one of them was so extremely loud .... the waiting time is almost unbearable ....

Authentic pizzeria situated in a very scenic mountain location, adjacent to the Madrisa cableway in Klosters Dorf. The freshness of the pizza, prepared and cooked in a wood-burning oven (as you watch), is to die for! As good as it gets.

Good pizza and pasta restaurant. Beautiful restaurant, very close to Madrisa lift. Good to stop after tiring hiking day or skiing adventures. We are coming here time to time, the menu has shortened since we last visited the place. To our daughter's disappointment no more mushroom rissotto. Steinpilze(mushroom) raviolli would have been perfect with a bit less salt. Pasta Carbonara was quite good as well. Pasta bolognese for kids could have been presented a bit more attractive. The people working in the restaurant are very nice. The bottom line we will come here again to give another try. Thank you

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Unfortunately the pizzas leave a lot to be desired. Pizzajolo was totally overwhelmed when the restaurant was full and so he didn't let it bake long enough. (It was more reminiscent of a cheese raging mess😅) Positive, the host didn't charge us for 4 espressos👍

Very interesting restaurant: you could create your own pizza and pasta by selecting the ingredients! Everything is delicious, lovely atmosphere and great service. Try the Ticinese white Merlot, really great wine. Do book ahead as it can get quite busy especially during the weekends.

Nice looking restaurant and food was ok. Staff rude and moved us from the table she seated us at. When the other people arrived she insisted we move as it was reserved. When I told her that she put us there and there was no sign to say it was reserved, she snapped and said ‘it’s in the book and I’m only one person here’.

Putting the food together “yourself” with the pizza and pasta concept is certainly interesting for the restaurant from a marketing and business perspective, but it is more of a cheap meal for expensive money. We also found that the mixed salad is not recommended in terms of price-performance. We will avoid this restaurant in the future if possible.

I strongly recommend this place. Pizza is very good indeed and the staff is Kind and polite. Fair prices complete my positive review.

Not recommended at all. The pasta and pizza were too salty and inedible. Had to give it back and when we complained and said we wouldn't pay for it because we only ate a forkful/bite. It was assumed that we had already eaten everything and that we had to pay for it. The food was very badly prepared and you immediately lost your appetite. The staff just threw the card down. And when we wanted to order, the waitress didn't have time and said she would come straight away, but then made us wait for 20 minutes and preferred to chat with the other employees behind the counter during this time. In general, the staff preferred chatting with the other employees instead of taking care of the guests. My conclusion is that this pizzeria is not recommended at all and I will never enter this shop again.

Bright, cozy atmosphere and pizza and pasta to put together yourself. There is something for everyone and the staff is super friendly. Gladly again!

We recommend! Dishes in different sizes possible. Various extras can be ordered. You can put together your own pizza toppings. The salad/starter buffet offers a large selection. All dishes were very tasty and the staff was super friendly!

A restaurant to eat Swiss and Italian food. I recommend visiting it a lot. You must pay attention to the food because there are foods that contain pork, so you must order ohne speck foods, meaning without pork.

Nice, cozy restaurant, located directly at the Madrisa valley station. We only went for dinner once, but both pasta dishes we ordered were unfortunately disappointing: the sauce was tasteless and the pasta was soft. The pizzas looked good, but we haven't tried them yet.
