Good restaurant in the middle of the old town. We went there on a Monday evening. It was quite crowded. Service was fast and friendly. The place is well decorated in a rather traditional, old-fashioned style. The menu offers many pizzas and a few other choices. We ordered pasta and a truffle pizza. Both were very tasty. Prices are typical for Switzerland. Well worth a visit.

The service was excellent, so much so, that my son forgot his sunglasses in the bathroom, I phoned to ask if they would send them by postal mail to our house (which is in another canton), and they did. they didn't even want to charge me anything for the delivery. They were also nice to the children. We were there for lunch.

Visited Murten during the Light festival. The restaurant was full but they managed to find us a table for 2. The food came surprisingly quickly, taking into consideration the number of guests. Pizza and Lasagne were tasty as well as wine, although they should definitely work on their tiramisu.

Good pizza. I had pizza 'La Taverne' and it was quite spicy. You could taste that it came from a brick oven. Some burnt edges. Food arrived very quickly. It came across as a somewhat rushed atmosphere. My daughter had the children's menu, which was just fine.

Horror. Shells were absolutely angelic.! The pizza was a flatbread and it would be cheeky to call it pizza. The taste is only edible when you are hungry. The vegetable plate that we paid for and ordered was so cheeky that you really feel like you're in a choc state and don't know whether you should be angry, laugh or look at the hidden room. 1 single funny broccoli 1 single funny cauliflower 4 cut into pieces about 5mm wide Total less than 40g! Bottomless impudence! The staff.. Hey, shock... neither friendly nor unfriendly, but you are treated like you are in a cafeteria. It's just sad that such businesses can be open because mass tourism has to thank them. But quality is definitely not even visible with binoculars... Never again!

I also found it very classy that the owner of the restaurant served the customers, despite the fact that there were enough waiters. Today I eat there soo fantastic and tasty food pizza also so good next time when I came back in Murten again eating here. Service is so good and behaviour of waiters is so polite. Terrible server. meeting at 7 p.m. with friends who arrived a little late and me who was waiting for them on the terrace. I warn the waiter that my friends will arrive 10 minutes late. The only thing he manages to do is bring me three menu cards without asking me if I wanted something to drink while waiting for them. Well, that still happened. but what followed was lamentable. We each order a salad and a pizza. Serving the salad my friends eat it faster than me, the waiter arrives and I still have a little salad left and the waiter is stressing me to finish it. same scenario for the pizza my friends finish it before me and again the waiter who stresses me again to finish my pizza. And after 30 minutes we didn't see him again and suddenly he came to clean the table behind ours without asking us if we wanted coffee or dessert. I have always been told that the customer is king, but apparently not there and what the server did this Saturday evening was a blatant lack of respect for the customers. V

Best pizza in town Very fine pizzas. Just as good to take away as eating in the restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a real Italian pizza. Everything is fresh and top ingredients and anyone who knows anything about wood-fired ovens will love the wood-fired pizza. Of course it's not just pizzas on the menu - Italian cuisine including friendly service where everyone is warmly welcomed.

Good menu choice! Personally, I had the roasbeff which was a delight 🌺🍀 very nice plate. What's just a bit of a shame is that they could just when they run out of a product, warn the customer and not serve something else instead just like that... it's a place where I go returns with pleasure

First we sat at a table outside directly on the house facade. An unpleasant wave of heating oil kept coming into my nose. We were able to change seats without any problems when we told the waiter. Salad starter came pretty quickly, but after that we had to wait an hour for our two pizzas to arrive. The guests and our neighbors arrived after us and had all received their food before us. When asked, they kept saying it would come soon. Pizza was good, but you shouldn't take out so many tables if you can't handle it with staff.
