The most important thing is the superb view and the sun. Homemade lasagna.

Dear Sir or Madam, lunch was probably the worst I have ever eaten. I'm an English investor, thought I'd look at the only restaurant up there, what I found disappointed me, frozen moldy salad, lasagna so soggy my colleague stopped eating. Staff so arrogant I won't invest. will let all investors know what's going on up there! Children are not welcome either, really annoying, the prices are not acceptable for this service, the cantonal pharmacy is called into question! then this is unacceptable and must be closed!

Worst lasagne ever, and the staff is Italian. Ultra over cooked mushy pasta, terrible tomato sauce impossible to digest even when I ate half of it. Shame.

Majestic landscape, delicious food. La Plaine Morte is a glacier you can access from the Violettes station in Crans-Montana. As it's 3000 meters high, weather conditions can quickly change (so beware, it can be dangerous!), but when the sun shines, oh my! What a place to be! The view is stunning. We took a two hour walk on the rocky mountains and rewarded ourselves with a delicious fondue. The restaurant offers the best of mountain food: croûte au fromage, viande séchée and the unmissable cheese fondue, which this restaurant does beautifully.

The region lives up to its name very well.

I had an amazing experience here, the food was great, the servers were so kind and of course the view made it all better. I would recommend this place a thousand times over, Cristine was fabulous and made our lunch unforgettable.

The view is magnificent, but the service is a disaster and is not friendly! We waited over 20 minutes before leaving. The customers who arrived after us were served and it was only because we dared to ask nicely after 10 minutes if it was self-service - apparently this was not well received 🫣

Lots of signs outside indicating that the restaurant is open, so several of us enter, and the waiter tells us that it is closed. We are surprised, and then the waiter repeats with a dark look and louder, it's closed. Unbelievable to be a waiter and also rude!

Good food and friendly staff BUT portion really too small, especially when skiing. We had two servings of pasta, and we left still hungry.

Excessive prices like in many restaurants on the slopes, received bread which was probably from the day before despite very pleasant and rather fast service. Positive point place to eat your picnic Superb view of the rest of the resort

One of the most beautiful and longest high mountain slopes in Europe in Valais

First impression, the lift. Smells like WC. Arriving at the top, was the lift a time machine ? Are we back in the 70's ? The terrace and the view is nice, but the chair and the decoration are from an other age... This is the top location of the domain, 3000m altitude! Should be top of the line, maybe it was in the 70's, but we are not in the 70's anymore...

Our dog sledding experience was amazing

Wonderful panoramic view to Swiss and French Alps. You can take amazing pictures and in one shot you have Matterhorn, Wisshorn, And Mont Blanc on it! Skiing is marvelous and there is even picnic area on the 2 floor! Apparently even husky rides take place right here!

The restaurant facilities are not that beautiful. But the sights are beautiful even in summer. There's an amazing view of a glacial . They have indoor and outdoor seats. The menu is simple but food is good. You can have fondue any time. And they are children friendly with children menu and high chairs. Pay attention to the transport schedule!

A shame !!! 1 person in the kitchen and a waitress. Very slow service and once the fondues are served you are warned that there is no more bread. Then you have to ask the cook for some potatoes. We left, leaving the money on the table without receiving the bill.... What does Crans Montana Tourism do???

In winter, this is an intermediate to advance piste. One of the favourites amongst the locals.

A round room above the peak which gives an amazing view. However the restaurant itself is less than charming, and add to that the service is fully incapable of handling the guests. The otherwise most relaxed guests were completely frustrated and we sat for 40 minutes and asked a few times for a simple drink, but the waiters did not even acknowledge us.

Very limited menu and poor service. On the other hand, it’s nice to eat your picnic there.

We had a really bad experience at this restaurant with overpriced mediocre food and the worst service you could possibly imagine... Avoid it, not worth the time or the money!
