After several visits I hoped that the service would improve, but it only got worse. With around 10 guests we had to wait 15 minutes. Waiting for our drinks.

Was here in the Plaza several times. As always, a little disappointing. Drinks are so-so If you look up in the room you can see spider webs. Redbull costs 10CHF, such a cheek doesn't need to be explained further. Staff often hide. Bar was empty and no one was there. You sit for a long time in front of empty glasses And the funniest. The Plaza sells cigars but does not have lighters or matches. When I asked how I should light it, the waitress said she didn't know... I don't even want to start talking about the dirty windows. The paper dispenser in the men's toilet is 97% empty most of the time

The staff is disrespectful and seems arrogant. I ordered food and after 50 minutes it didn't arrive and apparently it was forgotten. When I reported this to the staff, all I got was a cheeky OK.

Forced us to get drinks for everyone

We received a very bad reception. The receptionist was extremely arrogant and said she had written down the time of the reservation, but not the name, which is why it was actually no longer valid. We were told on the phone when we made the reservation that we shouldn't come in a tracksuit. It feels like the place wants to present itself/market itself as high-end, but everything about it is quite ordinary and normal.

Hip joint to get yer alcohol and caffeine hit. Staff very friendly and attentive. A good place to stop and quench the thirst

You don't have to go there to eat, we were there for lunch, I would have gone again but I was invited.

The food is excellent. The club sandwich with fries was especially delicious. The atmosphere is very inviting and the service is quick and courteous. Every visit is worth it! I can only recommend it!

This place is amazing with a great vibe. The owner is the nicest person, and the staff makes you feel at home.

...oh dear...how do you get such terrible drinks???...the Hugo, for example, was strangely pink and tasted like soapy water...everyone's tongue stuck afterwards...you're guaranteed to get drunk here...no idea, very poor quality...and this in the middle train…shame on you!

Already rather annoyed on the phone when making a reservation, I had to call 4 times and there was always an answering machine. When we arrived it was not explained to us that we had to scan the menu. Pinsa even if it is on the menu is not available according to the staff. Service was friendly but inattentive, talking to other service staff all the time. Inappropriate clothing, long nails, hair loose. The food such as the aperitifs and also the desserts were very tasty. The service staff can definitely be improved!

Really shockingly poor and unprofessional service. Service staff constantly chatting and standing around, even though we had wanted to order for a long time, totally inattentive! It was really difficult. Open hair and long fingernails were also very questionable in terms of hygiene (a gentleman had to open a bottle of champagne himself because the employee's nails were too long?) In terms of taste, the food was very tasty, but overall a very bad experience, a lot of room for improvement. Also, half of the menu was unavailable on a Saturday evening?

First asked directly by three employees what you would like to order. After that, no one came for a long time. A dessert and drink were brought, everything else a long time later. The bill was incorrect and more was charged, which was then corrected. The desserts were also just so-so. Not recommended..

Simply top of the top! The food is delicious, the cocktails are not only delicious but also decoratively unsurpassable, the service is very attentive and friendly and the ambience is simply amazing! Heartfelt recommendation!

A fantastic place to enjoy a drink and food in Zug! Such a great atmosphere with friendly serves and good music. They have a wide range of beers on tap. The bar is beautifully decorated. There is limited seating inside but plenty of seating outside. This is a popular bar and on busy evenings you might struggle to get a table. I had only the truffle fries from the food menu - they were absolutely delicious and nicely complimented my beer. The food items people were ordering around us also seem really tasty. I definitely need to come back to try more items off the good menu. All in all, a fantastic place for a fun evening out in Zug.

Unfriendly staff and poor hygiene The staff was rude and very unprofessional. They started collecting everything 40 minutes before closing time and turned off all the lights half an hour before closing time. This was highly inappropriate. You felt very unwanted. The situation got worse when I used the toilets. They were dirty and there were no napkins or hand dryers available. The entire toilet was very unhygienic and there was no toilet paper. There were also a lot of insects there. Additionally, the staff used inappropriate profanity during my visit, which further added to an already negative experience. This is completely unacceptable and clearly shows a lack of professionalism on the part of the staff. Overall, my visit to Plaza Bar was very disappointing. The unfriendly and unprofessional staff, the lack of cleanliness and hygiene, and the use of swear words resulted in a negative experience. I advise against visiting this place as there are certainly better options in the area that offer quality service and reasonable standards.

Service unfortunately very very bad. It takes a very long time to be served and also a very long time (25 minutes!) until the drinks arrive. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed inside. The ambience on the terrace is nice.

Unfortunately, the Plaza is no longer what it used to be. You wait a long time for drinks (20' for a beer and a cocktail) and the service staff doesn't understand German. When we wanted to pay and indicated this to the waitresses, we had to wait a very long time for the bill. The drinks and the ambience are very sad and loveless. Unfortunately there were no snacks either, which is to be expected with these cocktail prices. Next time we'll go to Spago, where you get something for your money.

The place is beautiful but the service is very scandalous , I experienced a very bad experience today together with my partner. we were consuming our drinks and the waitress came disrespectfully telling us that the place was reserved and that we should sit somewhere else but there was no place to sit she was just saying that ,but there was no sign on the table that the seat was reserved when we sat down and ordered our drink,We are regular customers of this cafe and this is very shameful, we paid for our drinks and why we were not allowed to consume it. This lowers the quality of this place very low, I'm king with my money I can go where I want , but you can't buy customers with money but with good service and respect I do not recommend such a place and such an experience to anyone. ❌❌❌❌

i was saturday night i asked for a cosmopolitan it was terrible , flung glass and zero alcohol it was a cherry flavored drink , too sweet . perhaps the barman should do the right course or if they don't know how to make cocktails they better remove everything from the list and only serve beer and ready-made drinks

It's a shame that smoking was allowed in the restaurant/bar. So we (non-smokers) had to enjoy our drinks outside. After 10.30 🥶

This place was an oasis in the service desert of Zug. Not only being opened longer than closeby Restaurants claiming to be on Google, but also the owner himself and probably the most friendly staff I have ever come actoss took care of customers. Great place!!

Most terrible service in town! Even though it was anything but busy the waitresses ignore that you want to pay. They are ‘busy’ chatting with each other and combining their hair. After 15 minutes waiting had to get up and leave to get their attention. Will never come back and can’t recommend it to anyone.
