2nd experience in this restaurant: The dishes are not too bad but the service is slow yet each time I arrive out of the shot. I came at 1:25 p.m., the time limit (as I understood) would be for me to be served. However, I order and they serve me. At 2:08 p.m. I ask for a green tea, I am told: “We are closed! “ After having passed the style of formulation which questions, whether the kitchen is closed or if the restaurant is closed, but in this second case it would be very strange since I am still there?! So I'm going to say the kitchen is closed, but making tea doesn't require calling all the staff back either? If? I asked my question again, and the waitress gave me the same answer. After insisting I got it, I should have abstained since it was more like very slightly tinted water than a real green tea. At the time of the addition I realize that 50 cents have been added, I ask for an explanation and I am told that it is apparently to fight against cancer. Well, it’s good to tell the customer. Note that Friborg water is billed. If you are only there for a brief stay in town, I advise you to try something else.

Richard takes great care, the cuisine is balanced, the dishes are hearty and tasty. Do not hesitate to ask for advice on your choices if the quantity of dishes offered makes selection difficult.

My favorite Asian restaurant in Fribourg. Kin Kin is the best host. Live the food, the service, the clean kitchen and the lication.

An unfriendly somich but relatively tipsy with men. It doesn't make you want to go back. A good sommelier is not a peripatetic. She must have had the wrong employer. My poor thing. Well it dates from 2017 to around 2019 or more, if the employer didn't realize it. On the other hand, excellent cuisine! I order it. To the wise....

An incredibly good restaurant with a lot of selection including vegetarian dishes and huge portions. The cuisine is exceptionally good and the service is quick and very friendly. Only the seating options on the benches are quite uncomfortable without a backrest. Would come back at any time!

Decent food, but very slow and chaotic service. Drinks spilled on customers, orders arriving 15 minutes apart, plates left under the warmer for 20 minutes... I would not recommend.

Looks good and is probably good, but you should only come after 6 p.m. because the kitchen is closed before then, even if it says otherwise on the internet. What a shame!

A very good Asian restaurant! We were very well received and very well served. They warn on the menu the importance of the pepper they put in the dishes and the quality of all their dishes is beyond doubt! The cocktails are also very good, ultimately, it's a place where stopping to eat at least once should be an obligation for all Asian food lovers passing through Fribourg!

Friendly service, good and, above all, enough food. With the cold weather it gets pretty crowded at midday.

Vintage event no more beer after 11:30 p.m.…miserable

Donations imposed on customers without asking for anything are dishonest. Even when I informed the waitress to report this to management, she became defensive. If the restaurant wishes to support the cancer association, it must make a donation from its profits. As a customer, I will make a donation to the cancer association myself if I wish. The curry rice was nice, but charged 1 chf for tap water? coca cola was of low quality as they don't serve directly from the bottle. By the time we foot the bill, we realized they have imposed chf 1 for cancer donation without asking, when we feedback to them, the waitress became a little offensive. I like the food at Punkt but I hope that the management will remove such dishonesty, if Punkt wants to support cancer association please make donation from your own profit earning and not force your customers to do that, this is dishonest. I like your food but not your business practice and service.

This restaurant offers dishes of Far Eastern cuisine. The setting is modern and pleasant. You can sit in front of the kitchen or at the collective tables. The stainless steel kitchen is impeccably clean. The whole team works there in order, in silence and in organization. The dishes are a symphony of exotic flavors. They are plentiful and well presented. All the ingredients cooked in different ways blend together harmoniously. The coconut milk soup delighted my taste buds. A nice surprise in the heart of the city.

We ate really well. I recommend. On the other hand, charging two glasses of still tap water for children, I find very limiting. And there is no children's menu. Too bad because children are also entitled to adapted menus etc...

Warm and pleasant restaurant. We were served at the bar. The chef in the kitchen, Koussa, and Kingpin were attentive and generous. I recommend !

It's beautiful and the service is good, however the dishes are not worth the price. We paid 28chf for rice, a sauce not bad but not good and fried chicken not incredible.

A great range of delicious dishes across different Asian cuisines, from Thai to Korean. The curries are divine. A word of advice, the dishes marked as extra hot are truly fierce and will give you a burning sensation to remember.

Make you pay for a glass of water, even after ordering multiple beers. Extremely expensive for below average restaurant. Clearly overrated, to avoid

The PUNKT restaurant is excellent! The service is extremely friendly. The food came after a short time and was very tasty. It was also very cool that you could watch the kitchen team cooking on a monitor. To drink we had a homemade iced tea, which was very tasty. There is a very good atmosphere and the restaurant has a very nice interior. I would eat at PUNKT again.

Top Asian restaurant and top location

Super delicious Asian food. You can consume endless drinks for 7.80 and you have a lot of options to customize the food. You can even watch the chefs at work via live camera. Unfortunately, despite not being ordered spicy, there is always a small basic level of sharpness.

A place that I find nice because you can watch the cook make his/her dishes which are very good and plentiful.

Good atmosphere, delicious meal (the famous curry trio) good quantity on the plate, fairly average service hence the minus star, the waitresses spend more time in the kitchen than in the dining room but otherwise they are friendly. I really recommend!

31.10.20: The 2 stars above all reflect a disastrous overall organization. Side by side locations on large tables shared with strangers without the slightest respect for responsible distancing during this Covid period are intolerable. We also saw some couples disappointed to find themselves in a side arrangement (bar style) which had not been announced to them when booking. The unpleasant side of the comfort of the chairs and benches is increased by a very long service and this despite the presence of 4 or 5 waitresses who have the merit of cordiality. The pinnacle in terms of harmful feelings is the fact of finding with the receipt a small note, which few read (I was the only one to do so in our large table) which tells you that 50 cents are CHARGED to you in support of a work of a social nature. In this notice we tell you that in order not to be subject to this imposed solidarity you must announce it before requesting the bill... it is very rude to learn it only when it is too late. Please note that I am not considering here neither the amount nor the usefulness of supporting such a work but the procedure. It is abusive because you are required to help without your prior knowledge, then everyone is free and worthy enough to decide to whom donations are made and not subject yourself to the constraint of disapproving support (you join because you do not comment😬 or the concept of membership in the absence of refusal🤪🤪). In addition, these are donations that they offer in their name financed by our pockets and that they deduct from their taxes (well, solidarity disappears there) For the cuisine it is very different because the dishes are very good and cooked with quality products. In addition, the variety and finesse are, we can say, fantastic. The proposition of unlimited drinks for sodas is nice which is not the case for the Glass of Water of Ville (when we know that the owner of the place is....La Ville. Tip: put small cushions on the chairs.

The best restaurant in Fribourg, value for money! I was tired of paying an astronomical amount for only average food. It's a great restaurant with a beautiful setting. The prices are fair and the food is just delicious!!! Only downside: the waiting time. But given the quality of the food, that’s forgiven! I will go back and therefore I recommend!!

The food was not authentic and very small portion. It was not the Asian what I would expect because they made their own version of food but name them based on Asian cuisine. The portion was so small that I was still hungry after a starter and a main course. The cancer donation was added automatically into the bill, although it was not a big amount but still was a surprise!

Die Kellnerin war nicht freundlich. Der Rojak sah und schmeckte nicht so wie in Asien. Das Essen ist für den Geschmack und die Portion überteuert. Meine Freunde und ich werden nicht wieder gehen.

We ate well there, beautiful dishes and the menu is great, everyone finds something to their liking. The only downside with the meal is that the GLASS of tap water (this is specified on the bill) is charged 1.-!! With a supplement of 50ct per glass for an association. The 50 cents are justified but 1.- for a glass of water when we had a meal and wine is excessive!

The curries are incredible. I recommend the triple curry formula which is exceptional if you want to taste everything.

Asian restaurant with very chic decor and delicious dishes!

Pretty good. On the negative side, there is comfort: most of the tables have wooden benches for seats which quickly prove uncomfortable. Otherwise, portions are sometimes a little light for those with a good appetite. On the positive side, the cuisine is really good, with a nice choice of Asian specialties, all accompanied by a friendly and smiling welcome. Fair prices.

For my part, I certainly come here with my people and can rely on being served brilliantly. The food wasn't the only thing that amazes in this restaurant! I actually really enjoy trying out new places and am always on the lookout for new places, but I will remain loyal to this inn. The place really has the potential to become my next regular place. Decorations on the seats and throughout the restaurant make sense and tastefully. The toilets are always clean and overall the restaurant gives a good impression.

Bad meal, Bad service, refuses to give jugs of water even if you consume other things and charges 4 francs for the glass of water

The dishes offered are incredible and the prices honest. I highly recommend a duck curry. The dish menu clearly indicates whether the dish is spicy, slightly spicy or not spicy. Additionally, this restaurant is suitable for vegetarians.

Cliente autrefois régulière de ce restaurant, j’ai toujours été satisfaite de leurs plats proposés.Toutefois je constate qu’au fil du temps, leurs prix sont restés identiques (relativement onéreux) mais les quantités et la qualité ont malheureusement diminué depuis!Je reste sur ma faim en sortant.

We are in Fribourg for a two-night stay. Last night, we went to Punkt and had an incredibly wonderful experience. While my husband loves Asian/Eastern food, I normally do not choose it. We had a lovely waitress who helped me choose a curry bowl with vegetables and rice. I loved it. My husband’s ‘test dish’ , by which he rates restaurants is Pad Thai with chicken. He was thrilled to give it his gold stamp of approval.Tonight he asked me where would like to go. I wanted to return to Punkt, something we don’t usually do because we like to try new places. But, he wanted to as well. He had a repeat and ai had the Pad Thai with vegetables. The food was excellent both nights. The service was impeccable - efficient, attentive, friendly.The prices were reasonable, especially for Fribourg.

Very good food - a lot to choose from :)

The food is absolutely amazing (curries) but one of their waitresses is very rude. They automatically charge 50 cents per person for the league against the concert and you have to ask to remove it if you don't want to pay, a practice that I find highly questionable. And 1 chf for a glass of water is quite scandalous. Basically, the food makes up for everything but the rest is a bit prohibitive.

Very nice place, very good, good service team

Very tasty lunch here yesterday. One of us had Thai Green Curry, the other stir fried vegetables. We had the lunch menu, so coffee was only 1 CHF. Also they gave is tap water rather than bottled, which is environmentally much friendlier. The restaurant was busy but the staff kept it all going, working incredibly hard. Recommended.
