Quellpark Kundelfingerhof in Schlatt (TG)

We have eaten at the Kundelfingerhof a few times and it has been excellent every time. For my birthday we were able to enjoy an excellent filet Wellington in a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with a lot of passion and are a delight both in terms of taste and appearance. The staff is attentive and super friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Whether for a relaxed evening for two in the restaurant through to a dream wedding or business event, the Quelle Park Kundelfingerhof covers all needs with ease. During a leisurely stroll around the farm you discover the fishing park and its fishermen who are hoping for a big catch. You don't have to leave the farm empty-handed, the farm shop offers a wide variety of regional and interregional products for yourself or as a gift for your loved ones. All in all, it's worth a visit to this almost enchanted place.

From the welcome drink, the 5-course menu and the various drinks, more than exceeded expectations. Serving a menu like this for 85 people is not easy and you have proven that you are world class. The food was excellent, the service was really great and, above all, you felt comfortable. You are real hosts with a lot of passion and commitment and you respond to guests' wishes very personally. Very attentive hosts and service staff and as a guest you feel like royalty. The atmosphere for a special occasion in your event location is perfect and beautiful. Keep it up and, above all, remain real hosts. You rarely find it like this anymore. The response from all guests was consistently positive and everyone was enthusiastic. Birthday dinner on Sunday lunchtime: there were still a few seats available on the sun terrace, the starter was imaginatively prepared, the fish had a very good sauce and the dessert was also wonderful. Gladly again🤗

The team at the Kundelfingerhof simply made all of our wishes possible, was more than flexible and attentive, they looked after us as if we were part of their own family - at least that's how we felt. We felt like we were in capable hands from start to finish. The idyllic location of the restaurant further added to the romantic atmosphere. The facility for hobby anglers is well maintained, there are enough large fish in the pond and the support from the fishing trainer was perfect. Great experience for parents and children

We were here for a beautiful wedding. The location is simply great! We got married, ate and celebrated right on the water, it was just great!!! The food was very good and the service was also super friendly and accommodating.

It's been a long time since I've had such good food and such friendly service. A mini-class reunion for two turned into a truly culinary summer evening. There was nothing to complain about at all. Eating out is fun because it has to be at least as good or better than from your own kitchen and it was in fact better. A great price/performance with a lot of craftsmanship in the kitchen. Nothing was 0815. There are no pictures, we preferred to eat the sea bass with the wonderful beurre blanc warm instead of taking photos and the great burrata with peach was enjoyed faster than it could be photographed. I'll be back soon and thank you for the lovely food.

This yard is down for me. How and why, you should know for yourself, and all my friends who fish with you, or “HAVE fished”, are of the same opinion. The facility is beautiful, perhaps, and worth the trip in that regard. However, the competence of the boss and possibly the staff is very, very, very poor. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic location, beautiful garden, food also fantastic. Regional and seasonal. I particularly enjoyed the ravioli with asparagus. Price-performance ratio unbeatable. I'm excited! Also recommended for families... so I'll stop now😅

Went to dinner at the Kundelfingerhof restaurant after a long walk along the Rhine. Seems to have been recently remodeled, the surrounding area is very nicely designed, beautiful terrace. Great fish dishes, good wine and very attentive service.

Very nice restaurant in a converted cowshed. The food is prepared from fresh products and is very appetizingly presented. The asparagus cream soup could have been a slightly larger portion. It was very good. I would have liked to have eaten 5 portions of this. The park with the ponds are very well maintained and invite you to take a walk. There was an interesting conversation with a fisherman who proudly presented his catch. The farm shop also has very nice products. Should also be visited.

Beautiful restaurant and fish ponds located on the road between Stein am Rein and Schaffhausen. We've discovered the place by chance, on a Sunday, when everything was closed in the area. We have enjoyed the finest fresh trout, smoked fish and schnitzel. All produce are local and the fish is from the restaurants own ponds. Our host was most welcoming and very attentive to a family with 2 young kids. Would most warmly recommend and will certainly revisit next time we are in the area.

Fish was world class. Tip....order the fish crispy in advance and eat it while studying the menu. They're awesome...not dripping with grease like elsewhere. Räuschling on the menu is perfect with fish and the service is impressive. Fast, flexible, friendly, efficient and good advice.

Very beautiful surroundings with the small ponds. Pure nature. Fishing, picnicking, fireplace, grilling. Relaxing area even for non-fish fans. And large farm shop. It's worth taking a look there too.

Last Sunday we wanted to enjoy a leisurely lunch in the Kundelfingerhof restaurant. Since the weather was nice, we sat on the terrace. We were kindly warned by other guests about the unfriendly service and the self-service “concept”. And that's the way it was. When we entered the restaurant we weren't really noticed and we were clearly told that the terrace wasn't actually served because they didn't want to encourage this and it was too cold. After some more snarky remarks, we barely managed to get a few French fries on the table. A tip to the company: When the weather is nice, there are people outside. Just be happy if anyone comes at all under these circumstances ;) We certainly won't anymore, a shame for the beautiful company.

Food was great! The service was a disaster. 4 tables at lunch, 3 service employees, they were neither friendly nor interested in additional sales (coffee, etc.). Another example, the question was literally asked "who has that with the black rice?". You could call it a fish or e.g. Look closely, they were lentils, there was no venererei on the menu. We'll be back & hope for better service.

Even if you're a non-fisherman, the Kundelfingerhof is worth a visit. The area with the ponds is very beautiful and well-kept, the farm shop is large and “appealing” and the restaurant is even a real surprise. The fish crispies were very good, the lobster tartare was exquisite and even the salad was above average. Together with the very friendly service, a real discovery.

Some employees seem to have a bit of catching up to do when it comes to dealing with customers, but otherwise it's a nice place to while away a few hours fishing.

Very good food in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The menu is rather small, but extremely varied. You can also opt for a small snack if you are less hungry. Of course there is a large selection of fish, which is fished from the pond right next door. (Of course this only applies to regional fish) The price-performance ratio is definitely right and we would be happy to come back again.

A place where a beautiful natural environment, fine cuisine and friendly service combine to create an experience. Here you can get, among other things, the finest Cordon Bleu far and wide. We were very pleased with the pretty decorations for our wedding anniversary.

Absolutely fantastic fish and food - well worth a visit. The landscaping is beautiful, and you can also visit the Hofladen and go fishing.

First pond exclusive for fly fishing is starting from 1st of March. I think idea is great but still can't see how will all other visitors walk pass that pond to reach other ponds. Other suggestion is to make few more places for fish cleaning because of waiting time, At my last visit I saw new gadget to enjoy the place much more. I am talking about BBQ movable pot. Really great idea. Unfortunately there was also info that the first pond will be reserved only for fly fishing. On one side I think that's great idea, but wrong pond, because everyone has to pass first pond to get anywhere else. I fully support fly fishing idea, but would suggest to take the latest pond, also with less trees and less people walking pass. Always nice place to go, unfortunately getting to busy during Sommer time.

Was only there for coffee. By 4 p.m., 90% of the tables were set up and reserved for dinner. I found it annoying

Fishing for “stupid people” refers to me. So supervised fishing. Experienced it for the first time yesterday. Everything from A to Z is well structured and organized. You can really come without everything. Starting with check-in. Care and assistance from Michel and Peter at the pond. Thanks to Lucas for great help and tips!! Excellent, and delicious fish guaranteed. Would love to come back

Nice place to eat and fish. Unfortunately, the price is rather upper midfield.

Professionals work here. Very good fish cuisine, but there is also a small selection for meat lovers. Interesting wine list with a pleasing number of wines served in the oven. The service is perfect, attentive and very friendly. The former stable building has been transformed into a beautiful and bright restaurant. Everything is barrier-free for disabled people, including a wheelchair-accessible toilet. We look forward to the next visit.

Entrance through a beautiful avenue. There is a restaurant and a very nice and large shop that not only contains fish items, but also cheeses, eggs, pasta, etc. There is no staff present. So everything is self-service where you can pay with card or cash. But only counted exactly.

Beautiful, natural lakes, well staffed. Catching success seems quite likely. (seven 18 trout in just over an hour). There is also a small tackle shop. You must register before fishing. The food in the restaurant is very, very good 👌. Was a great afternoon/evening.

I like fishing here, it's always less busy early in the morning on weekdays and the trout are biting well.

The food was excellent! The service was top. Unfortunately, we were only there in the evening when it was already dark, so we could only glimpse the great ponds.

Today, my partner and I celebrated 25 years together. Where is best if you are a fish lover. Of course at the source in the Kundelfingerhof spring park. We were served very friendly and really enjoyed the two fish (char and whole Mülerin trout). It is simply the best fish menu we have ever eaten. We can only recommend the Kundelfingerhof. I give it top marks for the wild pepper! My wife's salmon trout was a dream and the service was absolutely TOP! The Kundelfingerhof therefore clearly gets 5 STARS and yes - we will be back.
