One of the best go-kart tracks I‘ve been to. Go-karts are electric and are quick. Price is quite steep at 110.- CHF for five 8-minute heats. You can have a „grand-prix“ for 80.- CHF pp.

I am very positively surprised by the new electric karts. The joy of driving is greater compared to the combustion engines that were previously used, especially if you are a little stronger, the better acceleration is helpful. The slightly changed route makes the racing more interesting. The optical warning devices should be used more frequently and more specifically if one has the opportunity. The lighting on the karts, especially the brake lights, makes it much easier for less experienced drivers to lap safely. All in all, a nice thing.

Over 18 years I would probably have given it 4 stars. But since the system migration, the 10+ trips on my member card have apparently been used up. In 2021 I had two vouchers for 10 trips each divided into two cards and loaded another two-person kart trip onto my card. Then I got the two-person kart and 6 normal rides - the rest not yet. Customer service then let me know that what I was saying couldn't be true. Interestingly, other reviews read about similar cases, which are also denied. The way we deal with regular customers (> 500 laps) is so far from accommodating that the Race Inn got rid of me as a customer. It's a shame, but I won't spend any more money there.

Restaurant disaster and rip-off!

Outrageous!! Price and performance in the restaurant is a disgrace. I ate here for the last time today. A pity!!

A few years ago this was the place to go karting. Unfortunately today it is more than difficult; the employees all say different things; Some days you can reserve, others not. However, when asked, they claim that it is no problem to drive, but when you are there, they say that the day is completely booked and, if at all, driving is only possible with a long waiting time. Customer friendliness and solution orientation are sought in vain here . Maybe it's time for a change.

Dear Race Inn team Your kart track was and will always be my favorite track. Still, some things bother me. Namely the difference between the petrol engines. Sometimes up to 4 seconds. And please don't give me the excuse "Yes, luckily we have electric karts now." No. I want to drive a petrol engine. The smell, the sound. That doesn't happen with electrics. Some people might like the electrics more, but I think I speak for the majority. I also know that the electrics are faster. But petrol is so much more fun. What I also find a bit of a shame is that it now only takes 8 minutes. 10 wasn't much, but 8? I know you have to earn your money too. But then you could just ask for a little more. But if it's not just about the money for you, you could make it 10 minutes again. I also miss that the times were printed out straight away and people could be so happy. Of course it's cool with the new online timekeeping. But if you leave it like that, could you at least delete the times that are less than a second? I hope you see this message and respond to it, I would be interested to hear your opinion. --Update-- I've been to the Race Inn again recently. As I already wrote above, I don't think the electrics are nice. That hasn't changed, but the electrics are going off. This is a huge difference, especially on the brakes. You can have great duels with these karts and the design of the track really comes to life. The prices are still high but you can just about bear it. Simply great!

Am very disappointed. We wanted to make a reservation of 5 people for our group. However, reservations are only accepted for groups of 10 or more. We were confirmed on the phone that this wasn't a problem and that from 10:00 a.m. onwards we could still drive after every reserved group in the hour that had begun and therefore no registration was necessary. When we arrived on site, we were informed that the route was closed for a moped event and that it could only be driven again from 12:00, although there would be long waiting times. I find it absolutely unprofessional.

First of all there is 1 woman in the registration area when it's busy you wait there for 3 hours and once you've made it she then tells you you have to register so you then stand in line again for 45 minutes only to find out that she's waiting My conclusion is that the time was 1 hour and it was totally poorly organized completely expensive so I was very disappointed

It's a shame that the good old karts have been replaced by electronic waste. They are a little faster, but the fealing is no longer the same. Waiting time is also very long. You mean wait 2 rounds = 8min x2 = 16min and maybe 2-4 minutes to change so blt wait 20min... No in life you can easily allow several hours for just 2-3 rounds. The electric karts also take longer than before because they still have to be charged.

An absolute adrenaline rush! The go-karting experience at Race-Inn was simply amazing. The track was well maintained, the karts were in top condition and the staff was friendly and professional. I had a great time and can't wait to come back!

It was our first time at the Race Inn. Advance reservations are not possible and there are still enough karts available until 4 p.m. for those who drop by spontaneously. After that it gets more crowded. After a short electronic registration and instructions from reception, we were off on the rounds. The e-karts take off like a rocket and are a lot of fun on the great circuit. The track is in good condition, but has a few holes here and there. The changing rooms and toilets are clean but a bit old. However, that doesn't bother you with this race track feeling. The restaurant also has a race atmosphere and is coolly decorated. The snacks have a great price-performance ratio. All in all, definitely worth a trip, even if the trips have a hefty price (25CHF = 8min).

Incompetent and not solution-oriented. Never again!

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be true. When we came to Roggwil and wanted to drive a petrol car, we were promised at the checkout that we could. Things looked different at the back when the kart was issued. We were only allowed to drive e-karts three times, even though we always said we wanted to drive petrol cars. We don't have to come to Roggwil just to drive electric. That is really a shame.

Since I already drove there last year, I've now taken the time to rate it. I found the track very entertaining last year, but the combustion karts were only half as fun as today's e-karts. I'm a petrolhead and normally I miss sound, but in this case the e-karts are much more amusing and a lot of fun. It's even possible to drift out of corners as the torque from the engines is immediately available. Plus good organization, nice employees, fair prices. What more do you want? Conclusion: 5 stars and we'll be back, the next Grand Prix is ​​certain. PS: We can't say anything about the criticism from the restaurant, we just had a drink and later ate somewhere else.

Very cozy and sporty atmosphere. The service staff is funny and very accommodating! We felt well accompanied the whole evening. A greeting to the kitchen, the food came quickly and was very good! (We were a large group.) We will be back definitely.

Today, after thinking about it for a long time, we went to the go-kart track in Roggwil again and well, the bistro doesn't open the kitchen until 5 p.m. even though all hell is going on. Well, and that e-karts are now being driven here. Where is the love for motorsport that used to exist here 😪😪😪😪

Actually you have to evaluate 2 different things here. 1. go-kart: with the new electric karts def. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. They're just awesome to drive👍🏻 2. restaurant: def. none ⭐️, especially the gentleman who introduces himself as the boss is an absolute disaster personified. it is unfriendly and absolutely not made for the catering industry. We have been coming to Roggwil for almost 10 years and have always felt comfortable when we ate our fondue after karting. From now on, for better or worse, we will have to look for another restaurant after the karting. very very sad🥲

Positive: Go-kart track and electric karts are simply brilliant. Very negative: Restaurant and service was really bad. All 3 fondue had to be returned again because it was still really hot and liquid. We weren't asked a second time whether 15 of us wanted to have a drink. Tables weren't cleared for ages. We weren't asked for a coffee with dessert either. So there was no tip either.

We wanted to drive, it says open on the internet. We were there at 10, an hour after opening time, but there was no one there. So the website is not correct. Definitely would have been cool

Very disappointing. 6h stay for 30min drive (with reservation). Route staff without training or interest in making the journeys safe. We were able to watch a driver fly out of the kart because there are no seat belts. He lay on the track for at least 3 minutes until a marshal noticed something. There was also no interruption to the race. All in all, very poor/no organization and grossly negligent behavior on the part of the security staff.

We were really looking forward to doing a few laps in Roggwil again after a long time. We have the GP for 80 per person as a company event. booked. But the lack of organization of the RaceInn team became noticeable right from the instructions: In addition to insults towards customers and RaceInn employees, we were given start times that did not correspond to the situation on site. So our stay for the 3 trips of 8 minutes each extended to about 4.5 hours (excluding the meal before the first trip). When it comes to the track staff, I can only agree with my previous critics. Sometimes completely overwhelmed, the route staff (1 employee on the track, as the others are busy with the charging stations in the pits) can hardly keep track of things. This means that in the event of a spin or crash, the following drivers are not warned early on, which in my opinion represents a major safety risk for everyone given the number of inexperienced or reckless drivers. Unfortunately, I have to say that what I saw and experienced is not worth the money again for me. I'd rather go to a slightly smaller go-kart track, but where the service is good.

Great, a lot was invested in the new track and new karts. However, this comes with a whopping price increase of 25%! (Only 8 instead of 10 minutes per trip). Maybe Mr. Gasser talks about the books again regarding return on investment. Unfortunately, security is no longer given the necessary attention. Unfortunately, systematic track thugs who confuse the go-kart track with the bumper cars on the Chilbi are not disciplined by the staff. As a former racing kart driver, I'm certainly not squeamish. But for company team events, the risk has unfortunately become borderline. The price-performance ratio for the aperitif was also weak in our case. It is advisable to clarify exactly what will be served as an aperitif. An indefinable “syrup” with chips wasn’t worth the money. The beer (charged additionally) was good. I wish the Race-Inn many more accident-free years!

Complicated administrative, involuntary provision of personal data when registering (doesn't go any further if I don't give my nickname 😱😱😱). Unnecessarily it prohibits you from walking through the hallway to the downstairs cloakroom (???). It's a bit expensive but OK, you don't go there every day. The infrastructure is great, the route is one of the longest indoor routes, the bollids are in very good condition, strong. Yes, unfortunately there is no ideal construction site, but I still give a very positive expression. Little one, tip: Arm yourself with patience for the first boring half hour at the reception, and after that everything will be pure enjoyment

We are sitting here in front of an empty table because they didn't want to give us a small beer before we left (30 minutes waiting time) in order to make the waiting time more entertaining. A pity…..

Great track, good karts, terrible terrible customer service.

I reserved a GP for 16 people at 4 p.m. with an aperitif. The aperitif was more than meager & only for 10 people, but was still charged for 16 people. (8.- per person for chips..) We had to wait 2 hours until we could drive the first lap, as an excuse we were given free drinks after the GP, the staff in the restaurant didn't want to give us this because apparently the restaurant and the kart track don't belong together. Even a long discussion didn't help . Very disappointing organization, especially at the high prices. (GP 80.- per person without aperitif) The driving itself and the route are great and it was fun.

The organization was very bad, we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our turn... and we had to take a break between the race so that others could drive. And we were ripped off with the aperitif price and two different opinions. Very difficult with the staff.

My colleagues and I have been coming to the Race-Inn regularly for several years and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately we now have to look for a new go-kart route. First, everyone should avoid the Mini Grand Prix. Instead of 50 Fr. for 2x8min you pay 65Fr. In addition, the trophy must be paid for separately. New electric karts were purchased a few weeks ago, which has clearly improved the driving experience. Except that the first lap is driven at walking pace until every kart has been registered manually, which is laborious and unacceptable. Unfortunately, the driving time has also been adjusted with the new karts. Instead of 10 minutes for 25 Fr. You can now drive 8 minutes for 25 Fr. As mentioned, you drive the first lap at walking pace and lose another 3 minutes. So you pay 25 Fr. for 5 minutes of racing. The times mentioned were measured by spectators. In addition, the route staff are very unfriendly and the cashiers don't know the prices and travel programs. This has been the case for a long time, but it should still be mentioned. A pity

The timing during the go-kart rides appeared to be extremely inaccurate. It was frustrating to see my lap times not matching my own stopwatch. This indicates a problem with the technical equipment, which has significantly affected the competitive spirit and fun.

The track and karts themselves are very great and modern after the renovation. You have to expect long waiting times. Every time someone turns around on the track, all of the karts, which are now electronic, are throttled down by the employees until that one person is ready to drive again. In itself it's a good system, but if you pay 25 for 8 minutes and drive a little faster than walking speed for about 3 minutes, that's a shame. Ultimately, you want to drive as fast a lap as possible. Of the 7 laps driven, this was possible once without throttle at full speed. In addition, the staff that helped you get in and set up the kart was rather unprofessional, with an Airpod in your ear and a fag behind it. In order to ask a question you had to fight for attention.

We booked 3 rounds, but weren't even allowed to drive petrol karts. Unfortunately only with electric, although the laps in front of us are likely to run on petrol. Even after repeated requests, no real reason was given.

Dear people, you can tell. Instead of new measuring systems, you would rather buy new karts or AT LEAST a screwdriver so that at least the most necessary things can be done. Start with adjusting the engine.

Rarely have we seen such poor organization. We wanted to pay with vouchers, the person in charge at the reception said that only the boss could redeem this, it said 3 times the boss would be there soon, we waited 30 minutes until the boss came, very annoying because around 50 people came and took their time until the go Kart ride massively delayed.

Today I had the pleasure of doing 2x 10 minute laps on the track. The route is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I discovered that the marshals had no control over what was happening. At times it was tackled massively, I felt like I was on the bumper car track in the Luna Park. And no, not because I was slow, I was in the top 4 places twice. There are not enough staff available to put the karts back in the right direction if they spin or to warn the approaching kart ahead of time. This poses a massive threat to security. Several times I had a kart stand sideways in front of me after a curve and I was never warned beforehand. It's logical that the marshals are overwhelmed when 24 karts are on the track at the same time and they still have to check in for each ride at the same time. This should definitely be improved!! In addition, tougher action should be taken against track robbers. It is unacceptable that a father and his son in a 2-seater kart are rammed several times by overtaking karts and the marshals show no reaction whatsoever. Entire stacks of tires and metal barriers were even moved because people were driving impudently. Unfortunately, the whole thing also has a noticeable effect on the karts. Aside from major differences in kart performance, damage around the kart and massively misaligned steering geometry are not uncommon. It's a shame, for the price of 25.- for 10 minutes I expect other services.

We were at the Race-Inn Roggwil today, July 2nd, 2023. We were all looking forward to a cool and fair Sunday. Unfortunately, we were proven wrong, the safety of the participants comes second, sales are the priority. Very large groups (mixed from large to small, sometimes 26 riders) are driven without any consideration for each other, the postings are not sufficiently organized or not organized at all. Unfortunately, it's a shame!

I was traveling on the route with 24 people... everything from pile-ups and incorrect behavior by security personnel was there. Even in the restaurant the staff was overwhelmed. But not all of the tables were occupied. For these services, a 10-minute drive for 25 Swiss francs is far too expensive.

I recently had the pleasure of driving a go-kart here. I have to say it was an absolutely exciting experience! The route is extremely varied and exciting. There is a good mix of straight sections, curves and a chicane. This provided a challenge and kept the excitement going throughout the race. The route was well designed and offered enough opportunities for overtaking maneuvers and tactical driving. We'd love to come back!

Comparing the previous owner to the current owner... Previously: Well organized, karts in very good condition, you could also check the current driving times while driving and use them as a guide (screens worked). Now: Karts are clearly no longer in good condition (see only kart numbers printed on paper and stuck on with adhesive tape, steering geometries anything but good), organization and safety on the track clearly leaves a lot to be desired, screens are almost all in the error state (inactive ). It's a shame it's such a great route!

Very disorganized. Our trip was canceled without our knowledge when another group came. We were only told when we were already in the karts. When we asked for a refund, the man on the phone told his colleague that we customers had changed our minds and no longer WANTED to drive, instead of admitting that the mistake was his and something went wrong in the planning. Absolutely not recommended.

The ride in the individual kart was a bit too wild for our children. Despite the electronic payment system, it was not possible to convert the further journeys from single kart into double kart journeys. Instead, you should have paid another 2 x 10 minutes for a total of 72.- CHF. We were able to enjoy the remaining 3 single trips (worth CHF 61)... great service!

The Race-Inn in Roggwil is one of my favorite kart tracks. Tight, fast corners, very successful track layout and it's just fun. In my opinion, the karts could be coordinated a little more, as there are sometimes noticeable differences between the karts. I know it's difficult to "keep" more than 25 karts all at the same speed, but you would certainly be happy if two equally good drivers had the same chances.

1 child 1 adult with child the whole 3 rounds and 162. CHF was pure madness. Way too expensive. We always had to wait 10 minutes because a whole group was racing. They would have paid more...hello? the karts are very different. Tedious check-in with tons of questions. Conclusion: It's fun, but way too expensive.

Update 4/30/23 Today the children were able to ride. The employees put a lot of effort into saving what was written below. Great, it's fun and the children's eyes light up 🤩🤩 (At half past 2 we were told to come back at quarter past 2 to drive with children. At 2.15 p.m. we were told we weren't taking any more children... what a juice shop.... Man sent us to the restaurant, consumed and beat the time dead until the time is up for you to come back. So according to the homepage, Wednesday is children's afternoon. These are exactly the ones being sent away... we were far from the only family that was sent away At 2:15 p.m. the boss simply decides no more children... the young people and adults just get more money... The track and karts themselves are great, but the boss is extremely disappointing.)

Unfortunately totally disorganized!! We had our stag day in Roggwil. We were provided with an aperitif. A bowl of chips with Rimuss with syrup. (Simply Bääääh!) Attention: This heartless and not tasty aperitif cost 10 Chf PER person!!! Well, you can say you're there to race... BUT When it was our turn and everyone got ready, they said there were two more groups coming! The appointment was at 1:00 p.m. and we left at 2:00 p.m. All through… all driven. Attention announcement of ranking: first the third and second placed. When the first one was about to be read out, we all stood there cheering... The gentleman who read down answered his cell phone in a rude manner and left us standing there like “stupids” for probably 3 minutes!!! All the hype was gone... sorry? Nope!! Sorry but really bad performance!!!

Beautiful kart track near Roggwil. The prices are ok in our opinion. The karts are also good and work well around the corner - in some cases they are a bit scattered in terms of performance. The instruction didn't really exist - but there was actually enough written. The staff was friendly with us. The stewards aren't exactly the biggest charmers - but I also understand the gentlemen with the rowdies, some of whom are crazy on the track. The restaurant gave us a good impression. Certainly cool if you are traveling in larger groups.

Unfortunately very disappointing for two years. Since 2017, we, a male group of 10-11 people, have regularly driven to Roggwil to see who the fastest driver on the route is. It feels like since the Corona period, possibly due to a change of owner, the karts are no longer coordinated with each other. The karts have time differences of up to 5 seconds over a lap of approximately 47 seconds! A competition between friends is no longer possible. If you catch a slow kart, the CHF 70 for about 30 minutes of driving is a waste of money, as the fun factor is then zero. Although we spoke to the staff about it, the relevant karts were not taken out of circulation. Our written suggestion afterwards was also not taken seriously. It is clear to us that after 6 years of exciting competitions in Roggwil we will postpone the races for the time being. It's a shame, because the route is generally very well structured with its width and interesting curves, which makes overtaking maneuvers possible at various points on the route. For the time being, however, our competitions will definitely no longer be held in Roggwil until something changes with the karts.

For me a second star for the nice lady in service on December 17th in the evening. She was very friendly, prompt and very professional. Otherwise the rating would be 1 star. Reason: 1. We made a reservation at 4 p.m., but couldn't drive until 5 p.m. because: you couldn't pay with a card and other people went beforehand (without a reservation). 2. the employee at the reception was motivation and friendliness personified (I hope the sarcasm is audible) 3. Some of the karts are in such different condition that the driving experience is not even remotely the same. 4. One person was completely lost on the leaderboard during the race. When asked, “yes, I’m sorry, but there’s nothing I can do about it.” 5. The gentleman in service was hard to beat with his customer unfriendliness. 6. The price-performance ratio is not appropriate. (700.— for 3x10min ride for 10 people…) In summary: the driving experience is mediocre, customer friendliness is insufficient (with exceptions). If you go and experience it differently, I'm happy, but I'll think twice about going there again in the future.

I went to inquire in advance. Extremely nice and informative. The next day I went there with the kids to have a fun evening. Kids and I were super excited. Staff was very friendly and the whole thing was super relaxed. Also how the children were brought to their karts The staff gave you a great introduction to the whole thing. Very good experience, we went on an outing with colleagues, we all enjoyed the experience. Good track, good karts, good team both at reception and on the track where they explained the safety instructions well and some also made the effort to also speak in French despite being bilingual. We also ate a bourguignon fondue in their restaurant, good meat, good accompaniments and nice setting as well as very clean. A good half day spent.

Very unfortunate; The track is great, but the system and karts are in very poor condition! The staff is anything but courteous and you are not given any instructions!

Unfortunately one of the worse go-kart tracks in Switzerland. Unfriendly staff and poorly maintained karts.

BOMB EXPERIENCE! Went there as a group last weekend and were warmly welcomed and introduced by the nice tattooed lady. Will come back just because of her ;). Staff all very friendly and helpful! best kart track in Vallah
