Without a doubt one of the best pizzas I have eaten in Switzerland. The owner manu is Italian and makes the pizza dough fresh, he is really passionate and that's what matters when it comes to food. The wood-fired oven is the icing on the cake! The pizzas are delicious!

Price performance and warmth combined! First you receive a warm welcome from Rao. The garden is inviting and beautifully landscaped with charming, flowering shrubs. The restaurant is easily accessible on the main street with free parking. Because the restaurant and the garden seating are located at the rear of the property, there is practically no noise from the street. Whether for lunch or dinner, the menu offers a very good selection. Rao also responds to special customer requests. The pizzas come straight from the wood-fired oven, are very well topped, have perfect dough and taste excellent! We can't remember ever having a pizza that was so good and so tasty. The beer here is finally really cold (everywhere else it is always served too warm for us), and the red wine is also excellent. When we are in Valais, Rao's pizza in Conthey has become our regular restaurant, EVERYTHING is just right here, price performance and warmth combined. This person has his heart in the right place! Quaint little cabin, a wood fired oven, with a chef doing what he loves. That’s the best recipe for any pizza. I enjoyed my stop over with my family. A very pleasant change from the rest of the more commercially oriented options on the route cantonale.
