The food is always freshly prepared. The salad bar is simply great. But the highlight is the cheese tart - the real reason why I like to stop there. Unfortunately, I'm not always lucky enough to get one.

We were there on Saturday evening and the whole staff was super friendly, especially the gentleman at the checkout!

The food is fresh and good, and the price is accordingly.

A very expensive place. To explain: I was there with my companion. A tea, a coffee, a mini baguette and then came the big mistake. A piece of meatloaf and, on the chef's advice, 4 pieces of bacon with a bun. I had to be charged extra for a menu at the checkout. Otherwise the meatloaf could not be calculated. A proud 36 francs. Next time I'll go to Burger King for the money.

The dishes are visually very appealing, but the quality is generally not convincing. Added to this are the exorbitant prices... The plates and portions are really small for the price. (Many dishes are charged according to the size of the plate... and also... Large plates are only better breakfast plates). Therefore, they are only recommended to a limited extent.

The fact that as a restaurant visitor and paying guest you can no longer even use the toilet for free is shameful and a reason for us to no longer take these Marché rest stops into account.

We always go to Heidiland or Glarnerland, depending on our desire or estimated arrival time.

Nice place to have rest and good meal they have breakfast buffet till 11am then lunch buffet with a lot of varieties and nice soup

A very nice rest stop with a beautiful backdrop in the mountains. The self-service Marchè restaurant is very nice and clean. The buffets offer a large selection of delicious dishes. The prices are completely okay, not overpriced at all. The toilet in the basement is modern and very well maintained. Another highlight is the tunnel that connects both sides of the motorway service area.

Wednesday, February 14th, 12:30 p.m. My wife had grilled salmon with vegetables and HERB BUTTER. I had veal paillard with fries and HERB BUTTER. It tasted very good. But when we got home about two hours later, my wife had massive stomach problems. The next morning I woke up with a stomach ache and had to spend my working day and the following day at home due to the following problems (I prefer not to describe the details) We still have stomach problems today!!! Do you have similar feedback on this? Please check the herb butter!!! Best regards Armin Gerbing

"The restaurant has a nice design and deserves a star for that, but the food was very bad. I ordered tuna pizza, margherita pizza and a vegetable dish, but unfortunately the food was really bad. The service was also not good. I doubt the staff are of Swiss origin as Swiss staff have a smile and a friendly manner. We normally expect friendly service from staff throughout Glarus but we didn't find that here. The staff were unfriendly and their looks were unpleasant , which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. None of them smiled for adult customers or children. Despite the high price of the restaurant, I expected to receive adequate service and treatment. I feel disappointed."

So hair was found in the pizza 3 times in a row, 2 months apart! Pizza base always burnt and too thin. .. I saw an ant running around in the cheese container.. The toppings were always made wrong! I used to always be satisfied, but now the quality has deteriorated significantly!

Clean and orderly atmosphere. Nice and fresh selection at the deli counter with a small supermarket next to it. The toilets are also very clean.

Far too expensive.. The opening times in the motorway service areas in Switzerland are a bad joke.. Only until 10 p.m., but no wonder, given the extremely high prices that prevail there, it's no wonder. You don't want to be stuck with prices like that anyway. The prices in Austria's rest stops are exorbitantly expensive, Switzerland surpasses them! When driving through, I try to avoid rest stops in both countries. Because the prices there are really a disgrace!

One of the waiters would have to be fired without notice because he has no idea why he is paid. He receives wages because guests come. However, he doesn't notice this. Slams the cafe on the counter at the bar. Who hires MA here? He probably doesn't know anything about gastronomy either. I came from Austria and had a great week of work Staff experienced.

Good freshly prepared food in a rest stop atmosphere. Self-service therefore only 2 service points. Has a small indoor playground and a well-equipped outdoor playground.

Great Experience! We visited twice. Both times they were very hospitable and we got whatever we needed. A large selection of food is there, and albeit a bit pricey it is altogether worth it.

Food preparation leaves a lot to be desired. Given the prices, you'll think about eating here again. It's really an art to make a piece of cow leather out of a pork steak.

Generally good, service at the bar works like this.

Great and fresh products. Salads, vegetables, menus and sandwiches. We also serve fine drinks by the glass, such as elderberry water. Staff is friendly but self-service. Toilet costs can be credited to the next consumption or before consumption.

Always a great stop. Welcomingly furnished, clean and the staff is always friendly. It has a lot of selection of food and snacks. It's always worth a stop for me.

Normally I always eat at Marche Heidiland and I always eat bratwurst with gratin. I also gave the Marche Heidiland a 5 star rating. Today I made the terrible mistake of eating at Marche Glarnerland, and as always, bratwurst with gratin. The bratwursts that were lying around were all relatively black. I told the cook that I didn't want any black sausage, whereupon he yelled at me stupidly. Unfortunately, everyone on the grill turned black and while eating I noticed that they weren't cold either! I would have loved to throw it in the face of that fun chef, but you can't be like that! Then the gratin, which wasn't available, it took 10 minutes...then the other cook threw a few gratin leftovers onto my plate. Nah great. Marche Glarnerland, no thanks! And absolutely unfriendly!

So far I have always been very satisfied with the food and service. Til today. Although there are posters everywhere about the price per plate (yes, in the circle it says vegetables and salad buffet, which is easy to see), at the checkout I am charged 2x grill plates for my two small pieces of meat. Nowhere is the price for grill plates stated, nor that it is per piece of meat. The orange juice tastes bad. When asked, they were told that they were Biiter oranges; they didn't have normal oranges today. But it says orange juice. Had to change it for a cheaper drink without being paid the difference. Supercard does not work, the receipt is required for a subsequent credit to customer service. However, the receipt will only be handed over after repeated requests. With such high prices, I expect first-class service. Even at a motorway service station!

Best pizza I think his name is Cosimo. I assume he is the only Italian in the Marché Glarnerland. It is simply an experience in itself. He makes the pizza with passion and it's delicious, just wow. We probably come 1-2 a month and I'm always happy to see him making the pizza. His sayings and tips are simply great. The rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful, so I always have to stop by and order something.

Always the same offer. Expensive, very expensive! Staff friendly and everything is clean.

The food offerings could be presented in a more informative and appealing way, so that as a customer it is easier to see what to eat and at what price.

Top food, I would never have expected it from a motorway restaurant. Top, everything fresh and wonderfully prepared, large selection, highly recommended.

For such a large rest area, there should also be seating outside. But there are huge shopping opportunities inside.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant, I remembered it differently! I imagine eating pasta, but at 2:30 p.m. the man at the counter said, out of order. With a deep sigh I decided on a salami sandwich at the counter, which didn't taste good. The bread was "rubbery" with no cucumbers or tomatoes in it, just lettuce leaves in one place, already slightly wilted and completely overpriced. For one mineral 0.5 Lt. You pay CHF 4.95 and that in self-service, unbelievable... I won't stop there again... what a shame.

All cash registers closed and no interest in selling anything 🤔 Still no toilet with card payment 😤 No visible PET waste. So I had to move on pretty quickly. Oh yes, the charging station was also defective.

Nice interior and great place as a rest area. Manageable. Nice toilet conditions. Good cafeteria with sandwiches and fast food. Super room ril relaxation.

1.- Voucher for using the toilet is stuck. Okay, it can happen. Toilet compartment stinks to high heaven. Disinfectant dispenser empty. Rubbish outside... Parking lot like a gas station, overcrowded. Cashier in the shop completely overwhelmed. Even after my comment about the grievances, I didn't listen to it. I'm not touchy. But for the price-performance ratio it's a bit cheeky.

Price performance is rather expensive even for a motorway rest stop. Food was very greasy and had been under the warm lamp for a long time. Cakes and patisserie were very good. Staff at the checkout very warm and friendly.

The hit of the day was pasta with chicken and vegetables in cream sauce You got pasta with mushrooms and cream sauce. In terms of taste, it wasn't a hit. And I ended up feeling really sick from the food. For me, mushrooms are not vegetables. Once and never again.

Not wheelchair friendly. Only after repeated inquiries was it possible to use the wheelchair-accessible toilet. More sensitivity on the part of employees towards this topic would be nice.

Good selection of menus and salads or desserts at self-service counters. This time I had Ticino roast and spaetzli. Roast was good, very crispy on the outside. Spaetzli with too much butter. Were there on a Sunday around 13°° and it was very crowded and correspondingly loud. Toilets in the basement in the passarelle on the other side of the motorway. Cost per visit 1 CHF. You get a voucher for 0.50 CHF. So first go to the toilet and then order something.

I always thought Marche Niederurnen was very good. Every time I came to eat a family pizza with you. Now that a certain Jonas has come to the pizza, I have NEVER had food poisoning twice because of the pizza!!

The beautiful ambience and the wonderfully designed underground connection between the two directions invite you to linger and take a break. Food and drinks are delicious, but extremely expensive to purchase. There was enough parking space and there were also enough spaces available in the restaurant.

The food at all Marche restaurants is known to be fresh and fine. But the prices are extremely and incomprehensibly high. A medium salad plate costs 19 sfr.

A typical French market with an amazing, to me, assortment of local and international products. Meat and meat products, fishery. Amazing

Very friendly staff and very tasty pizzas. The pizza maker is awesome. The other food also looked very tasty. The ambience is not special but not bad either. Certainly better than many other rest stops but as I said, not special. Will definitely stop again next time I'm traveling through.
