Good coffee but not good “Gipfeli”.

On Google it looks like it's open until 11pm, but it's open until 10pm!

Experience regarding Mc Donald's Restaurant (Mc Cafe) in the Thurau Süd service area: Food: The peaks were underbaked, greasy and soggy, and only cost CHF 1.50 per piece. The peaks used to be crispy and saucy, but unfortunately not anymore. Drinks: The coffee doesn't taste that great because it is served in a paper cup (previously the coffee was served in cups, together with a coffee bean covered in chocolate). This McDonald's used to have a coffee corner near the entrance and good, trained staff. Unfortunately this corner has been closed! There is also a lack of good staff. A pity. And coffee and croissants now only seem to be available until 9 a.m. Also the opening times only until 9 p.m.!? Unfortunately, things are no longer like they used to be, everything is being rebuilt and turned upside down. A real shame. My tip: It's better to use the coffee corner in the kiosk next door! or go to a bakery with a coffee corner. We are very disappointed ! So that was our last visit here ! (at Mc Donald's, at the Thurau Süd service area.)

very mean and unprofessional older lady. I politely asked her for a bag in exchange for money. She said NO. There is none. I had bought toast, Bretzel M.wasser and and. WOWWWWW AND EVERYTHING IN COMMAND FORM as she spoke to me. Because I AM ASIAN? Don't know does she have an AGENDA? don't know

As a truck chauffeur, your prices, no matter what it concerns, are just one thing: unreasonable. Unfortunately, as with all rest stops in Switzerland, the avarice and enrichment of the owners/operators comes first. As a rest stop, you are more local and closer than all the other customers who are delivered, but the products are so overpriced that that's the bottom of the barrel. I think you would sell twice as much if the prices were normal. Even the fine coffee can't hide that, I'm sorry.

Wanted to get sunscreen in the shop, a bottle costs 31 Fr. (Nivea) sunscreen costs 20, an equivalent one costs 11 Fr in another store. maximum 21 Fr. This is pure rip off!!!

I filled my car with gas and bought a bottle of ice tea. Everything tip top works.

No vitamin well at the gas station

The gas station shop is extremely expensive, 1 Gatorade almost 7 CHF is a pure rip-off, plus demotivated and unfriendly employees. Will never visit this gas station shop again!!

Well-kept rest area with gas station, shop, McCafé and McDonald's. Like in many places, using the toilet costs CHF 1 and they are very clean. 🤩 The voucher received will be deducted from consumption in the Mc or shop. We were there at the time the McCafé was in operation. 👍 A very good coffee, the large cup for CHF 3.90, and the delicious McMuffin with bacon, at CHF 5.90 a bit small and on the upper limit in terms of price, was our fortification for the onward journey. 😋 The location is simple, solid, colorful, and also has outdoor seating and a play tower for the children. Conclusion: A rest stop that we will definitely visit again! ✌️

The service was always very kind and courteous. For me, the Thurau group is one of the best rest stops. No matter whether in Wil, Bergsboden, Rhine Valley, or at the Bregenz/Lindau border crossing. Everyone, whether a businessman, traveler or truck driver, is valued equally in all rest stops in this group.

Average Swiss mountain restaurant. The cheese fondue is amazing. Large terrace. Ideal for a sunny winter lunch

A service area with many services and products available for any need we may have on the trip. The bathrooms are generally clean and have everything we need.

Here you can use a clean toilet. Worth its weight in gold!

Motorway service station with McDonald's restaurant and shop.

You want to get a fresh sandwich even though you know the prices (8.00 per sandwich) and you get one where the roll has been in the oven too long and is hardly closed. Actually it would have been good to bring it back... never come to you again

The rest area is clean and tidy. I am fully aware that this is a motorway service station in Switzerland, but the prices in the shop are sometimes outrageously expensive. In many other shops in Switzerland it is much cheaper...

Highly recommended used to be a lot in the truck stop at the rest stop

The opening hours of the shop do not match the information on the homepage or at the entrance! According to the internet (and also on site) open until 11 p.m. But at 10:15 p.m. you're already standing in front of the closed doors!

Mc Cafe is not recommended, a bowl, a coffee and croissants were ordered. What we got? A coffee that was watery, a cup that is usually served in the cup, but not in the latte glass. The contents are an indefinable sweet milk mixture!!! and the croissants weren't really good either.
