The best place in Schaffhausen to drink a coffee and enjoy a pastry! I go there every time I'm in the area and I love seeing the attentive and professional team that welcomes me there. Their products are delicious, a wonder for the eyes too. The famous Schaffhauserzungen are killer! It's hard not to eat the whole package straight away and their amaretti as well as their frozen squares are to die for! I was also able to buy a cheese sandwich which I found super fresh and good! You can go there with your eyes closed, I recommend absolutely EVERYTHING from Reber!!!

Terrible management. We were hoping to taste something good but instead they sent us away, closing on Saturday is at 4.30pm we arrived at 4.05pm and nothing, they didn't let us sit. These places deserve to fail, incompetent and incompetent as well as rude. Even if we return to Schaffhausen we will never recommend this place. Really incompetent.

If you like something sweet, Reber is the right place. Whether it's chocolate 🍫 or cake 🎂, coffee ☕️ or hot chocolate, 🍮 everything tastes delicious here. If you want a nice gift 🎁, this one is also available made from the finest chocolate. My experiences were very positive and when I'm back in Schaffhausen, I'll come here again to drink my hot chocolate. The staff was friendly and nice. At my request, they also beautifully wrapped my chocolates as a gift. Class.

I have rarely seen such poor service. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to order even though we called them several times. The people on the right and the left had the same fate as us. Unfriendly and very rude service. Unfortunately not the first time. Luckily there are other bakeries in the immediate vicinity that serve very friendly people.

Due to Covid 19, a maximum of 3 customers are currently allowed in the store, which I completely understand. But what completely escapes my understanding is the fact that I was sent out of the store today even though there were already four customers in the store before me. And in a relatively patronizing manner.

Unfortunately, I repeatedly experienced very unfriendly and demotivated staff in the branch at Schaffhausen train station. I find the price-performance ratio to be sufficient for the location.

The white truffles are a poem, I've never had better ones anywhere!!! And all the other delicacies simply taste wonderful. You can taste the craftsmanship and the use of high-quality raw materials. For me that certainly justifies the rather expensive price, in this case absolutely reasonable. We constantly pay too much for little and lousy quality (all this industrial crap). Here you also pay a lot, but you also get a lot, a lot. In times of constant profit maximization at the expense of quality, taste and, last but not least, health and the environment, a welcome exception! At Reber, it seems to me that people work with passion and a connection to tradition. Thank you for the consistently high quality! And for the always very friendly and attentive service!

Has a large selection of packaged sweets that taste great.

First we waited 30 minutes for salads - some of them weren't as we ordered them. Then there are 2 items on the bill that we didn't consume. (with unconvincing apology) Maybe okay for a coffee, you couldn't go wrong ;)

I really like the Randenstübli on the Breite. It also belongs on this list!
