I have received worse service today than ever before in my life. Really unfortunate, as I go shopping at the Wüst pastry shop in Unterengstringen almost every day after work.

Went to grab breakfast on the go. Ladies working there were super nice and friendly. Great coffee and Laugen-Schoggigipfeli!

We arrived with our family for breakfast - the girls were distorted and angry - they were rude and we just turned around and left - we went to another establishment!!! Note to the owner - change the staff - they are not friendly! Ruined the mood!

Very sad staff, dissatisfied and very irritable. When asked if there was a play area, the employee pointed outside (when it was snowing)! Okay, let's take this with humor. The next simple question was whether there were crayons for the kids. The answer to that was: “No, we are not an after-school care center but a bakery.” Regular guests are then served very, very friendly... This isn't the first time we've experienced Wüst, but we've tried it every now and then with the hope that things will improve. But last Friday the bitter lady surpassed it. Please hire more motivated and service-oriented staff! There are many unskilled people who would do this work with a lot of joy and friendliness!

Unfortunately by 11:15 a.m. almost everything was gone. 1 canapé, 3 warm dishes and the sandwich selection was very poor. I've been a guest there for years, irregularly but often. And for some time now I've been meeting employees there who couldn't be more unfriendly. Luckily there are exceptions. That's really a pity! And please, maybe speak a little louder towards the partition so that YOUR guests can hear you. (Steiner Beck is highly recommended and to linger in the Frankental bakery)

Used to go here often and drove longer way just to reach this bakery. But got very unpleasant experience - charged almost double the correct price, not handled the recipient and upon asking why is the price so high I was met with a very arrogant reaction - only to realise the cashier has overcharged me (must have been clear already, the difference was very obvious). No sense of honest apology. Please consider a more training and attitude.

Unfortunately, my previous rather positive review has suffered a severe setback. Prices have been raised sharply since the beginning of 2022. For a GOBA 1/2 l Cola the price was increased by CHF 1 to CHF 5.50 and for a cappuccino by CHF 2 to 6.50 when consumed on site. It makes you think twice about going there more often - unfortunately! The national bakery from Mels to Zurich/Unterengstingen is recommended. Has a very good selection of baked goods, patisserie/sweets, lunch such as pizza, canapés, soups etc. as well as drinks, Emmi Caffe latte, beer, wine etc.! (+) very friendly staff, served, with a nice large terrace and small. playground (-) high surcharges for consumption on site, traffic noise from the nearby cantonal road, sometimes very noisy with many guests

Sometimes the saleswomen are unfriendly and disoriented. At 9 a.m., certain bread rolls and sometimes croissants are no longer available.

Hercules is one of the best breads I have ever tasted. Some stressed and unfriendly staff.

The products are good, the location is nice, but the concept disappointed me a bit. To eat in the cafe you have to wait in line and only then are you allowed to go to a free seat, not so great. Therefore a star deduction.

Unfortunately, when you order a coffee that means a lot of milk, the cup is always only half full and when you ask nicely if I can still have milk, I look completely horrified and the milk jug was still half full. Very unfriendly employees. I had a hair in my coffee and the cashier told me "yes 🤷‍♀️ what should I do, I can't see what's in the stream" no apology, no understanding. It's not the first time that the employees are unfriendly and unmotivated.

Many employees have changed over the past year. Suddenly I was repeatedly given hot chocolate with 50% foam, 50% milk. When I made a complaint, the “author” came and seriously wanted to explain to me that this couldn’t be done any other way. When I told her that this was also possible with my husband, she left without a word. In the summer the cold chocolate was unmixed and I was told this was normal here. When I said I could do it at home too, it worked again. The same person doesn't bring us a glass of water or a cookie like the others do. The latest is the lukewarm chocolate, which we received repeatedly. Since I didn't want to return it, I asked the employee in advance today to please give it hot, not lukewarm, the "mushy" answer: The machine does it, not us. The same employee gave us a 15 minute notice last winter. before the closure, she had already settled the bill and really didn't want to make chocolate anymore, of course we understood, but she didn't say thank you or anything like that... It's a shame for those who make an effort and are friendly, and for that Cafe that was so good...but the acoustics are better now because there are fewer people:;-) So we're fed up now! Well, there are other cafes in the area, with consistent performance and super friendly employees (e.g. Frankental) Update: We actually dared to do it again, the said "foam racket" still can't do it, this time there's also massively too much powder in the Chocolate, but massively not enough in the Ovi, otherwise very friendly (we didn't complain either), but again no water/cookies, so all in all very unsatisfactory and really not recommended (possibly for coffee drinkers)? Patisserie is going well, but in our opinion it's just sweet but not of any quality. They haven't had any newspapers since the pandemic, so why should you still go there? It's been a few months since the visit and we live well without it.

Wüst uses barn eggs in sweets instead of free range or organic eggs. Something has been forgotten several times. But today was the highlight. I waited a full 15 minutes for my coffee, even after asking for it, people who had just sat next to me received their coffee first!!

I have been a Wüst customer for years. This cafe offers fine products, good coffee and attentive service, only 😰 the acoustics could be improved. Even when only a few people are talking to each other it is unpleasantly loud, which destroys the charm and coziness of this place.

Good bakery, great selection, everything very fine but comparatively a little more expensive. An extra fee of Sfr 1.70 per drink and an additional fee for coffee/cake are required when consumed in the café. Mind you, it's self service! That's why everything is best to go!
