Very friendly staff. Good views on a clear day towards Jura range, Mittelland and pre Alps. They have some rooms available for overnight stays. I was there in autumn during game season and had venison meat strips. Delicious!

Here you feel warmly welcome as a guest. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Price-performance too. There are large, beautifully presented, seasonal, fresh dishes. Be careful, the maple is popular.

If you sit on the front side you get a magnificent view! Tje Crodonbleus and the Schnitzel are delicious

The restaurant is beautifully located and offers a breathtaking panorama. It is a suitable starting point for beautiful hikes. Parking space is available. The food in the restaurant is good and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food was served quickly.

It's always good to eat and the ambience with the landscape is wonderful. Unfortunately, when there are a lot of people in the restaurant, the quality drops. If there are few, it is highly recommended.

This is our fourth time here at the Ahorn mountain restaurant. A fantastic view awaits you here at height. When the weather was sunny there were always a lot of visitors. Nevertheless, you will receive very quick and friendly service. There was a small mixed salad with very finely prepared Alpine macaroni and the classic schnitzel fries with delicious vegetables. Then a fine ice cream ball with fruit salad and hot chocolate as dessert. There was a very good and pleasant atmosphere in the newly opened restaurant. Even the innkeeper had a little time to chat with us. That certainly wasn't the last time. We'll be back.😊👍🏻

We had reservations. Since the weather was good, we wanted to eat outside. “Then you have to wait a long time” we found a place. Unfortunately no vegetarian alternatives and very unfriendly staff. Too bad for the beautiful view, we left

What a wonderful weekend! Very fine food (whitefish fillet with the lemon risotto was awesome), the usual fantastic view and the warm and courteous hospitality. Thanks to the reservation, we had a fantastic place with our camper and, by arrangement, we were even allowed to stay there from Saturday to Monday morning. Since the restaurant closes earlier on Sunday evenings, after our bowl tour we were given a delicious maple platter to take away and enjoy at our seat. Very nicely located and clean toilets. The waitress asked us if we wanted to eat something and we said yes. She set the table and gave us the menu. We were immediately served drinks... after 40 minutes another waitress came and asked us if we wanted something to eat... it was too late for us because we still had a long hike ahead of us.

We were at Ahornalp during Corona and motorhomes were welcome there (including motorhome dinner). Unfortunately, we are no longer welcome with the new tenant. It's a shame, with the motorhome you could enjoy wonderful sunrises and sunsets.

New landlady and new staff. We received a very friendly welcome and wonderful service. We enjoyed the food very much. Fair prices. We'd love to come back. Compliments to the new crew! We were here again today. Food as always good. What annoyed me was that I couldn't pay with a debit card. They could do that very well at the next table. Information from the operator: no reception!!! New host couple. Good food and very friendly. Were there on May 11th, 2022 and pleasantly surprised. Excellent !

New team for 2 weeks, I think from the kitchen to the service still has to get used to it. There were three of us and we weren't happy with the service.

We used the motorhome parking space. Unfortunately we only had to pay CHF 28.00 for the parking space for the night! The restaurant was closed and we weren't allowed to use the toilet! Zero service but a serious rip-off. It's a shame😏.

Unfriendly! 32.- for one night parking fee with a VW T4 to stay overnight, extortionate! Toilets and washrooms were closed. I miss the good old days when Reto Roos ran this!

Good and beautiful viewpoint with fine, inexpensive dishes. Ideal for hikers and families. Today the service was very friendly and quick. Despite the very well-filled restaurant, we only had to wait a short time. The maple platter is highly recommended.

The reception and service was friendly and good. The food was tasty, but the fries had too much salt for us. What bothered us personally was that the staff never wore the hygiene masks properly, i.e. all of them only over the mouth but not over the nose, regardless of whether they were serving or not.

Super nice excursion mountain restaurant! But on a Sunday, even in rainy weather, it was totally full in the afternoon and midday, parking lots were also full. Fantastically beautiful views and a huge hiking area for Napf hikes and towards Emmental or Willisau and Luthern.
