Restaurant am Berg: Top Roof Bar "La Charpenna" in Scuol

We got chicken nuggets that were still raw and the quality of the fries was also rather poor. Tastes like old frying oil.

We were here with a school class. The food was "subterranean". The service also left a lot to be desired. Very bad fries .. unsalted etc. We also think children have the right to good quality food. It's not possible, they are second class guests!

First it says that you can put as much as you want on a large plate and pay 21 CHF. We filled the plate because neither of us were super hungry and then the boss suddenly came to the checkout and said that's 2 portions and we then had to pay 42 CHF. I find it a disgrace. Then we wanted to go and ask why and he didn't have an answer.

We paid 42 francs for 1 plate, and our colleagues paid 16 francs for the same.

Decent self serving restaurant. Big advantage : enough tables and sitting places inside and if weather allows outside. Beautiful view from the edge of the restaurant. It can get crowd around 11:30 and until 13:00. Don't expect much and you will not be disappointed 😊. Pommes, daily soup 🍲, schnitzel, beer, some salad. Kids can get small portions. If you fill in your plates excessively they can charge you +5CHF for XXL version. Its not 5 stars but I like to crash here after some hours of skiing and cold weather.

Disastrously bad canteen food. It's better to go to one of the other mountain inns in Scuol :-)

Typical menu selection from a self-service restaurant in a ski resort. Price/performance is definitely not right. Everything is overpriced and the quality of the food sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. But yes, enough for a plate of fries and a beer :-) An additional star for the beautiful view, otherwise only 2 stars.
