Restaurant Aquarium in Le Landeron

Very good meat on slate. On the other hand, the morel sauce for the tagliatelle was more like a soup. Fast service but not very friendly. I can recommend the restaurant but for the meat only, which comes from Paraguay for the beef.

We had dinner last night, as soon as the school year started we felt good, the boss welcomed us with a smile, the food was excellent, although the restaurant was full we were quickly served. In any case a great place to spend a good evening, and we came from Lausanne and my daughter from Jura for her birthday.

A great atmosphere, the service is excellent, the food is great, so what more could you ask for?

Note: I have only been there once and it was a Tuesday evening (the restaurant was empty), so I can't speak to the quality of service (which was impeccable at that time). The trout dish with almonds is absolutely excellent. My partner had shrimp tagliatelle which was also an absolutely delicious dish. The portions may be surprising, considering the last restaurants I visited, I would say that the Aquarium's portions are generous. I highly recommend !

Warm & Hearty The aquarium is located in the center of the old town of Landeron. The welcome is warm, friendly and good-natured. I gave myself time to eat there three times before writing an opinion... and I must say that each time I was amazed by the tastes and the quality of the service. Both the perch fillets and the beef tartare or entrecôte are very well accompanied and seasoned. I had the joy of discovering a wine list rich in local and quality wines. I recommend this establishment for a dinner with family or friends, among the trees of the central square where “good living” is the order of the day. Children can enjoy the surrounding fountains and space. Enjoy your food !!!
