Wanted to have a coffee at 10.30. Everything is reserved. So we went out again without coffee. This is the second negative experience this week. I waited on the terrace for service for more than half an hour on Tuesday (luckily when the weather was nice). The service is lousy.

Located in a beautiful winter landscape. Nice, cozy restaurant.

Plates cold, food lukewarm, food carelessly prepared. Staff unfriendly and totally annoyed. Price-performance 👎

The breakfast staff on Tuesday morning left a lot to be desired! I asked for a coffee from the machine, it was explained to me that they didn't use the coffee machine because of a coffee and I had to drink the coffee that tasted like "dishwashing water"...:-(, I thought that was very, very negative for such a great hotel..! We found Ms. Mettler from the reception and the service woman in the evening and on Wednesday morning very friendly, who served me a coffee from the machine without any further ado...:-) There were a few more negative experiences that I don't want to comment on anymore... pia and sabrina kuhn

Stopped in for coffee and the excellent plum cake. The service was very friendly and quick. I would be happy to come back again.

... we just wanted to have a quick drink in the restaurant, so we ordered a piece of the “plum cake” according to the advertising board. Mmmmmh... the cake was so good, we wanted to order another piece, but there wasn't any left. The The waitress said everything would be gone in an hour.

Great location, clean room, very very nice staff and very tasty homemade food. The private sauna by appointment was a highlight. Paid covered garage for hotel guests right next to it. The only disadvantage: very weak internet connection

We enjoyed the beautiful view and the relaxed atmosphere on the hotel's terrace, which was infectious. The desserts were exceptional.

One of the best experience we ever had! Super friendly staff, delicious meals from the restaurant and very clean rooms. The hotel is located in a very scenic place and you will enjoy the view even while laying in the bed! We will definitely look forward to go here again!

The burgers on Thursday evenings are excellent.

There were four of us there and we were absolutely not disappointed. The service was extremely friendly, the food was wonderful and the prices were absolutely reasonable. The waiter even asked especially for us whether there was still Knobli bread (Knobli is love) as a snack because the kitchen was still on break. We will be back definitely. Really great! Oh and of course the view is great too! :)

We went to the Arvenbüel restaurant to eat and drink, everything was very good 👍. Unfortunately we can't say much about the rooms since we didn't stay overnight, but they are certainly very good.

A 'mountain' cozy patio with a screaming twist! Oh, guys, I have to tell you about my experience on the terrace of this mountain hotel, where I recently had a drink and a soup with my parents and girlfriend. It was an adventure I won't soon forget! Not only because of the beautiful view of the mountains, but especially because of the service staff who were shouting at each other. It was like a hilarious scene from a comedy! When we arrived, we were greeted by the sounds of nature: chirping birds, a babbling stream and... yes, the waitresses' vocal cords in full action! They seemed to think they were standing on the summit of Mont Blanc and had to compete with the echoes of the mountains. I swear my friends and I tried our best to place our orders without yelling. As we enjoyed our delicious soup, we saw people running away laughing. I think they thought it was part of a hidden camera show! Luckily the soup was excellent. It was like every spoonful gave us a warm hug while the staff were still screaming in the background. All in all, it was a hilarious and tasteful experience. The view was breathtaking, the service was loud, and the soup was delicious. If you are looking for a unique and fun patio, then you definitely have to go here. Make sure you've warmed up your funny bones because they're definitely in for a workout! Cheers to a 'mountain' cozy time with a screaming twist!

Last May I went to the Hotel Arvenbùel with my girlfriend. We ordered 2x pike-perch fillets. We each received a single very small fish with two very small boiled potatoes divided by two. Hungry, we complained politely. The boss came to us and said that this fish It was very expensive. We didn't understand that and thought we had paid 34 frs for it. The nice waiter was with us that was obvious. He bought us a coffee. My friend then ordered Zwegschenkuchen because our stomach was still growling. I suspect that the 200g wasn't brought because there wasn't enough fish left but it definitely had to be sold. We found that more than unfair.

Great view from the garden, we didn't stay here but just ate at the restaurant. Service and the food was very good.

The staff, starting with the boss, was super nice and friendly. We would particularly like to praise the employees in the kitchen and of course the girls in the service, who were able to laugh with the guests in the evening even after a long and tiring day at work. Respect! The breakfast was varied; if desired, you could order fried or scrambled eggs. For example, a roast pork was offered straight from the grill... super tasty and sold out in no time! We had a quiet room with a balcony. The only downside were the hard mattresses. We can definitely recommend the hotel.

The stuff at the restaurant has changed (and many people left), the food is not what it used to be.

We were in the restaurant today on a Mother's Day bus trip and we and our guests are absolutely thrilled! Everyone was very, very friendly, from the boss to the cook to the service staff! The food was prepared with love and, above all, very good! We will definitely come back - both for business and for pleasure! Thanks to the whole team for the great hours. The icing on the cake was the team waving as they left 🤗

I was visiting here with my wife and my 15 month old son. The service is available around the clock. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Everything has been thought of. In the restaurant there was always a high chair ready at our table. The meal was delicious. The terrace is extremely inviting with a fantastic view. Looking forward to further visits. LG Alex

We had a very super 3 days at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The scenery is beautiful, if you want to go hiking you have a great opportunity to do it here. There are many other beautiful places nearby, I definitely recommend Lake Weesen on the way to the waterfall. Thank you for everything!

We had only 25 minutes til the last bus, but they managed to create super delicious and big burgers for us! Super service!

We had to leave the restaurant this afternoon because we were sitting in a “child-free” corner. It was full outside and inside. My 2 girls, my husband and I don't understand this at all.

We were just there to eat. Very nicely located restaurant with a great view. Food very fine and very, very nice service. All around great and highly recommended.

The cake is worth recommending if it is available. If the weather is good, stop by early rather than late. Food is only available until 2:00 p.m. maybe not any earlier. At least there is nothing to be found on the menu outside and when our waitress pointed this out she wanted to at least pass it on. When you sit down and order, you will be informed of this. Please also note the payment options. The stars are still there because the cake tastes great! The rest of the food was ok/filling. The decor is rustic and you can see a certain investment gap.

We were in Arvenbüel for the first time today and the service was extremely friendly and courteous. The food was excellent, from the soup to the dessert, you can tell it was homemade and we would love to come back for that. The price/performance ratio is totally right, the portions are generous.

We spent 3 nights here with my partner, we felt fantastic! Small family rooms with terraces opening to a beautiful view! And the game dinner is really special! Kind and helpful staff! If you're there, don't miss a visit to Chapf, where you can see the entire Walensee!

Actually everything is good. Unfortunately, however, the anti-vaccination flyers are prominently displayed in the reception.

We had a relaxing stay here with half board. I give stars for the friendliness and helpfulness, the spacious room, the location and for the breakfast!! I deduct one star for the price-performance ratio. E.g. Internet unfortunately only worked sporadically! Maybe it was the location of our room 44. But if I had to rely on that, it would have been a no go! Unfortunately, the refrigerator only managed to cool our two drinks in loud, continuous operation. Then half board. Basically lovingly designed. But the soups offered were always only lukewarm. A chervil soup that was offered was lukewarm and the broccoli it contained was still cold. Furthermore, it wasn't chervil soup, but tasted like green Thai curry. But I don't want to hang around! 4 stars is a good rating and we would come back!!

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time in the restaurant until the waiter came. Parking is also subject to a charge.

Today we had dessert on the beautiful terrace of the Arvenbühl. Vito served us very attentively, courteously and with humor. the plum cake (house specialty) was extremely delicious. And the main courses around us were applied just as delicious. we'll definitely be back.

We hadn't set our expectations very high based on previous experiences, but unfortunately this was still too high, disappointing... In general: On the table mat and the menu it is boasted that only fresh and seasonal ingredients are used. However, fresh can at most mean that the vegetables were taken straight from the freezer. You can't get the shape and size of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots from the farmer next door, but they look exactly like they do in the ready-made frozen packs, which were definitely not grown in the area, and broccoli and cauliflower are not summer vegetables... In addition, the vegetables and the risotto were so salty that we used the fries to neutralize all the salt (no joke). Simply throwing so much salt on vegetables has nothing to do with culinary art. In addition, the vegetables and risotto plates were also very sparse (however, the other menus for our groups were a good size and seemed fair). Since we went out to eat there as a group and three people eat vegan (for different reasons/lactose intolerances etc.), we called four days before and asked if this was even possible. They told us it wasn't a problem, they were making a vegetable plate with risotto (we specifically noted not to use butter). However, when we were served the plates with the words "three times vegan" we immediately saw that the tomato on top of the plate had been gratinated with cheese... (not possible). We said this straight away and the employee said she would clarify it. We then trusted that the rest was correct and had finished our meal 20 minutes later when she brought us an unbaked tomato. I have no idea why only one, since we ordered 3 vegan menus. The whole thing was quite weak and if someone has severe food intolerances or allergies, I would definitely advise against eating there. Having a drink and an ice cream with the beautiful view is certainly okay, but from a culinary, organizational and service perspective it's definitely a no.

Excellent service, we ate the house-made plum cake, which was truly unique, so the rest must be just as good.

Wir sind bereits zum dritten Mal innerhalb eines Jahres Gäste des Hotels. Wir schätzen besonders die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Darüber hinaus verfügt das Hotel über eine hervorragende Küche und es wird auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Die Sauberkeit, die Lage und die familiäre Atmosphäre sind ebenfalls aussergewöhnlich. Wir fühlen uns hier immer sehr wohl und danken Frau Rüedi und dem gesamten Team für die schöne und erholsame Zeit im Arvenbüel. WIr kommen immer gerne wieder.

Von der Terrasse ein herrliches Panorama. Essen hervorragend und das Personal war sehr nett. Werden wieder kommen!

Eigentllich wäre es hier sehr schön. Nur leider sind die Besitzer am Corona Schwurbel verfallen... Naja so kann es gehen, ich hoffe die Behörden sehen sich die Sache an und unternehmen etwas gegen diesen Betrieb. Denn dass ist einfach eine Gefährdung der Gesundheit der Gäste :( :(

Covid Massnahmen werden ignoriert

Die gesetzlichen Massnahmen zur Eindämmung der COVID Pandemie werden bewusst missachtet. Die Crew trägt keine Masken und beachtet die geltenden Regelungen nicht. Unfair für alle Restaurants, die ihre Pflicht wahrnehmen.

Die Besitzer haben den Mumm den völlig widersprüchlichen Maßnahmen mit Courage entgegen zu treten, leider gibt es einige die grade deshalb eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, aber Mitläufer und Spitzel hat das Unrecht schon immer gebraucht. Hut ab, komme gerne wieder, da bei der aufgeheizten Stimmung gerne vergessen wird etwas über das Essen eines Restaurants zu schreiben, worum es meiner Meinung nach hauptsächlich geht. Nur viele lassen sich eben auch radikalisieren ... Etikettierungen wie Corona-Leugner oder Verschwörungstheoretiker sind nur ein Zeichen für Denkfaulheit. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Das weiße Kaninchen
