Alright, a well-established old restaurant, good for eating in the past and now. The prices are in the normal usual segment...To survive...

Excellent restaurant. We got to know them in person because my daughter lived nearby for three years and they are good people and good workers. Their production of bread and pastries from their shop next door is also excellent.

Wonderful atmosphere at the “Mexican Weeks”. To welcome us, we were served small, delicious shots (with and without alcohol). The Mexican dishes - from the starter to the main course to the dessert - were all very tasty. We also chose the exquisite “Ojo de Agua” by Dieter Meier. The friendly manager of the house and the nice waitress served us courteously, so we would be happy to come back!

Fast service, good choice of dishes. Negative point: I PAID 3.- FRANCS for a glass of water from the tap. A shame for me, after having spent almost 30.- Francs on drinks and ice creams. I leave everyone their own opinion.

Great restaurant with its own bakery and good desserts. The menus are not without either. If you do something with a team or a group, you can also do it in the bowling alley. A little variety. Unfortunately the Mexican weeks are already over!

Mehrfach daran vorbei gefahren, kehrten wir Beide heute Sonntag gegen 13.30 Uhr kurz entschlossen im Restaurant Frohsinn ein. Wau, hier wird man vom Gastwirt (in bewährter Kochmontur) noch persönlich und herzlich begrüsst. Die Servicefachkräfte sind äusserst zuvorkommend, freundlich und effizient. Die Gartenwirtschaft war gut frequentiert und die Atmosphäre mehr als einladend. Tische und Stühle wurden nach deren Gebrauch vorbildlich gereinigt und coronalike desinfiziert. Ein einfaches Schnipo sowie ein Pilzrahmschnitzel werden im Frohsinn zu einem kulinarischen Highlight, Bravo!Zu Guterletzt erkundigte sich die Chefin des Hauses über unsere Zufriedenheit und liess sich auch etwas Zeit für einen Smalltalk. Gastronomie wie sie im Buche steht, hier fühlen wir uns wie Gäste. Wir kommen wieder, herzlichen Dank!

I love the time when there was Mexican food, as a child it was an absolute hit to eat here with the family. There was also live music, Mexican of course. The staff is efficient and very accommodating. A visit is highly recommended even if you don't eat Mexican, the food is simply wonderful and delicious!

Seit Jahren kommen ich immer wieder gerne zu den Mexico-Wochen, da musste ich nun auch einmal ein Feedback hinterlassen. Die mexikanischen Spezialitäten schmecken einfach lecker. Auch das Restaurant hat in diesen Wochen das passende Ambiente, von Donnerstag bis Sonntag sogar mit musikalischer Unterhaltung. Freundlicher und rascher Service und sollte doch mal etwas schief gehen, wird sofort reagiert.Werde auch im nächsten Jahr wieder kommen.

We eat a great meal in the restaurant,but when we got the bill we paid in euro , the lady said that the payment is in Swiss frank and it is the same amount. We came from the airport and we didn’t know the different between the euro and the frank . She said it’s the same, but we paid 15% more.A bad feeling

Great food! I particularly like the Tex-Mex weeks. The enchiladas are A1 (unfortunately a little little guacamole for my taste but otherwise perfect). Two mariachis, Cever and Osvaldo, give the whole thing a festive atmosphere. That's why I always like to celebrate my birthday here.

Freundliches personal Tolles ambiente Ich hatte schon mein konfermazipns essen hier und auch meine brüder hatten ihr konfermationsessen hier. Wir haben schon einige Geburtstags essen im diesem Lokal und es war immer ein toller und feiner Aufenthalt. Ganz speziell sind auch die Mexikanischen wochen.

As a finale before the harmonica holidays we were able to have one Enjoy wonderful food and friendly service. I like it here.

The best croissants far and wide

Wir hatten die Hochzeit von meiner Tochter im Frohsinn Würenlingen. Es war absolut Hammer was der Frohsinn auf den Tisch zauberte. Seit langem haben wir nicht mehr so gut gegessen und getrunken. Der Service, die Bedienung und auch das Essen, war aller erste Güte. Dieses Restaurant ist allemal ein Besuch wert, mit Zufriedenheits Garantie.

War am 21.11.2016 zum Mittagessen hier. Sehr grosse Auswahl an Menus. Personal Top, und das Essen sehr fein. Sehr gerne wieder.

Unfriendly service, tap water costs money, you have to look for sauce with a magnifying glass. Expensive for the disaster.

Immer wieder ganz feines Essen. Super Ambiente mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Niveau auf Sternen Basis. Heimeliges Lokal. Wir gehen immer wieder mal gerne in den Sternen,da weiß man was man hat.

Mit meinem Vater ass ich wieder einmal im Frohsinn. Zu dieser Zeit war gerade mexikanisch geschmückt, was bedeutet, dass auch mexikanisch gekocht wurde. Ich entschied mich für die Fajitas, die vorzüglich schmeckten. Das Fleisch war wunderbar. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir einen grünen Salat, der uns ebenfalls sehr mundete. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stopped in just looking for a nice dinner. What we got was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We got a wonderful meal of pork cutlet with so many wonderful vegetables. Since this visit was in the middle of winter we were surprised to see such a variety. Will be returning for more!

Das Restaurant Frohsinn ist ein Familienbetrieb in dem sich der Gast rundum wohl fühlt. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig mit feinen Gerichten. Der Service ausserordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ob im Restaurant oder auf der Terrasse fühlt man sich als Gast zu jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben. Ein echter Geheimtipp auf dem Lande.

Die Mittagskarte ist abwechslungsreich. Das Essen sehr gut und die Portionen sind üppig. Ein freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service runden das Mittagsangebot ab.

Gemühtliches Restaurant mit diversen Spezialitäten. Das Cordonbleu, das Stroganoff sowie das Tartar sind ausgezeichnet.
