Unfortunately the prices do not correspond to the quality. Mini schnitzel at maxi prices and a Waygu beef that died twice - most recently in the pan as a hamburger. A pity.

FORUM is a restaurant that is perfect for both a business lunch and a relaxed dinner. The ambience is modern and elegant, yet cozy and inviting. The menu offers a clear selection of dishes, from classic specialties to modern interpretations. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

The selection of accommodation options in town is manageable. We felt very comfortable here, friendly staff, tidy room, even with a yoga mat, very good breakfast. If you want to save money on dinner, go to the pizzeria diagonally opposite

Despite many other reservations, our table of 10 was served quickly with drinks and meals. The dishes, even if some of them were “classics”, were very nicely prepared and the portions were rather large. A large selection of desserts also left nothing to be desired. Always worth a visit. A reservation is definitely worth it.

I have been a regular guest in this family business for years. An “all inclusive” hotel at its finest. Clean, very good cuisine, friendly staff! Everything is really included here: rich morning buffet, lunch, cake in the afternoon and a 5-course dinner, drinks including wine, spirits etc. and use of the tennis court including a trainer (if you want). And you will receive friendly service!

The food is very good - but sitting on the high benches is difficult because you can't lean on it.

Ich war schon in sehr vielen Restaurants, immer auf der Suche nach dem ultimativen gastronomischen Gesamtkunstwerk. Meine lange Suche ist mit dem erstmaligen betreten dieser Gaststätte in den Zielhafen eingelaufen und Ich habe für mich meinen bisherigen kulinarischen neuen Höhepunkt erlebt. Das Team Kathi & Irene! Klar, die Chefität ist entscheidend, aber ohne die äusserst professionelle Crew schafft man diese Leistung allerdings nicht. Ich kann dazu nur ganz einfach und unkompliziert DANKE sagen. DANKE für diese Erlebnisse! Ihr seid wahrlich Genies im kleinen Schweizer Lande.

Ein wahrer Geheimtipp für all jene, die gutes Essen in einer stylischen Umgebung geniessen. Absolut gemütlich, vor allem der Innenhof ist der Hammer! Das Essen ist top top top. Geniale Karte, toller Wein, sympathisches Personal! War schon oft da, jedes Mal etwas anderes aus der Karte probiert, jedes Mal glücklich nach Hause gegangen :) So soll es doch sein! Und: selten bekommt man für diesen Preis ein gourmetähnliches Menü serviert.

We had dinner at this restaurant and liked everything. Cozy and calm, not many people, no fuss, no children (perhaps for some this is an important factor, it depends on the type of your vacation). The food is delicious, the prices are a little higher than in regular restaurants, but this is to be expected, since the establishment is located in the FORUM business hotel.

Wir waren am Valentinstag im Forum. Viele Kerzen haben für eine unglaublich romantische Stimmung gesorgt. Zu Beginn gab es für beide ein Cüpli auf Haus zum Apéro. Die Speisekarte ist sehr interessant und vielseitig. Wir haben uns für den shared table und anschliessend für den fish of the day, Seezunge mit Spinat und Salzkartoffeln, und das Maispoulet entschieden. Fazit: tolles Lokal, sehr angenehme Stimmung, nette Bedienung, sehr feines Essen. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

A very great restaurant. Price/performance ratio is right and the employees really care about their guests. I'm there regularly now because I just feel good. A perfect place for business lunches. You have to visit it once. :)

We tried this place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, after work drinks, a relaxed cigar experience and to meet people. This place is simply amazing. Staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional. The food is simply delicious, no matter what meal you choose to have here. It’s always a new pleasant surprise for your taste buds. I would absolutely recommend it to every food lover.

Von der Bedienung über die Speisekarte bis zum Essen alles Bestens. Wird alles frisch zubereitet. Das Angebot wechselt und wird daher nie langweilig. Reservieren lohnt sich da doch öfters mal viel los ist.

Ich war Gast bei einem Geburtstagsfest und durfte ein fein abgestimmtes Menü geniessen. Von der Lachs-Vorspeise zum Hauptgang mit Kalbsmedaillons, Gemüse und Kartoffelgratin bis zum Dessertbuffet, war alles köstlich. Herausheben muss ich am Dessertbuffet das tolle Tiramisu und die flaumigen Aprikosenknödel mit Nüssen garniert.

Ein phänomenales Lokal im Herzen Widnaus! Mit einer tollen Weinauswahl und unwiderstehlichen Gerichten aller Art. Es ist ein Muss, wenn man in Widnau ein gutes Essen mit einem passenden Wein sucht. Meine Empfehlung Beef Tartare und Hausgemachte Tagliatelle, Bauernkotelett!!! Zum Wohl! Danke und ich komme wieder war ein toller Abend.

A very nice local. It's worth making a reservation because it's very busy. The food was very good and since the menu is seasonal, it's always interesting to go by. I deducted one star because of the service. A little more attention should be paid to the customers.

Spitzenrestaurant in Widnau! Nur zum WeiterempfehlenDas Abendessen war ausgezeichnet, die Atmosphäre nahezu perfekt. Die Speisen waren sehr appetitlich hergerichtet und schmeckten sehr gut! Vor allem das Morucha Beef zur Hauptspeise wurde uns persönlich vom Küchenchef präsentiert und serviert. Auch die hausgemachten Gnocchi zur Vorspeise waren sagenhaft. Zum Abschluss noch eine super tolle Pavlova. Meine erste Begegnung mit einer Pavlova war eine kleine Offenbarung. Abschliessend noch feine Zigarren in der Zigarren Lounge mit einem feinen Rum rundete den schönen Abend ab. Das Team schenkte uns volle Aufmerksamkeit und die Bedienung war sehr gut! Top Nachspeisen und Service. Ich war und bin absolut zufrieden! Danke an Katharina und Irene wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ambiente top, wunderschöne Einrichtung, total nettes Personal und: geniale Menü-Karte!! Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Backhendl im Kürbismantel mit grünem Blattsalat und das frisch zubereitete Tatar. Zur Hauptspeise nahmen wir zusammen (3 Personen) ein Tomahawk (Tagesempfehlung) welches an unserem Tisch geschnitten und "zubereitet" wurde. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder! Die Karte ist noch lange nicht durchprobiert :D

Es war hervorragend. Absolute Empfehlung von mir. Das Ambiente ist sehr geschmackvoll und die Bedienung höflich. Komme sicher wieder mit Freunden.
