I wanted to order something, but there was no service.

The ambience is nice, but unfortunately the beer is terrible in my opinion.

Beautifully furnished - suitable for staying for two 🍔☕️🍰.

The food is ok. 1x good and 1x less. I guess it depends on the chef who is currently on duty. The service is friendly, but definitely not an expert. There is a shortage of staff everywhere at the moment. Sometimes it goes quickly and sometimes you have to wait a long time (I also forgot my Prosecco, but then got a really full glass). The wrong food was also brought to the table after we had waited for over an hour. The atmosphere is stylish and beautiful, which is why we still like to come by every now and then. The prices are more in the upper segment.

Excellent restaurant be it the food or the staff. It was our first time eating here but definitely not the last time.

A few weeks ago we met for dinner at the Sternen restaurant. The ambience and furnishings are very nice. Ordering the food was a bit tough, took a long time and you had the feeling that she didn't have the device under control. We ordered starter salads. For the main course we were given another salad when we were surprised when we asked the waitress about it; we received the sentence: “You just have to read better!” We were shocked by the statement. We actually hoped that they would point this out to us before ordering and know their menu! Unfortunately, a portion of fries that we ordered was also forgotten and the chicken club sandwich ended up being made from pork. We didn't say anything else, it probably wouldn't have helped. When we then wanted to take a closer look at the bill, the waitress became even more toxic towards us. Conclusion: Really a shame for the beautiful restaurant and the actually good food!

We were just at Sunday brunch. Simply delicious from start to finish. Everything fresh and homemade. Only recommended. 👍🏻

We've been there several times before, but this time it was really bad from A to Z, the food wasn't good, the service was a complete disaster, far too expensive for what we got. I'm disappointed, won't be coming back anytime soon.

We always enjoy going to the stars. Kristijan and his team are very hardworking and friendly. The food is simply delicious. The various pieces of meat on the hot stone are highly recommended! The meat is excellent and the side dishes are very tasty. I love the bacon beans :-) We used to drive across the border to one of the many steakhouses on the neighboring side for a good steak. There is no longer any reason for this! Eating at Sternen is highly recommended and the price-performance ratio is fair and reasonable. We'd love to come back again and again!

I've been there twice now to eat. Unfortunately the food the first time (tarte flambée was too salty) wasn't great, but the second time it was very tasty. In terms of food, the price-performance ratio is ok. My point of criticism is the staff. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all! Unfriendly, disorganized, inattentive... First we had to wait forever until we were noticed (there weren't too many guests) then a mess when ordering (forgotten things, no idea about the wine) In total I've been to the Sternen 4 or 5 times now, each time the service was borderline difficult (and the staff is always different) but this time it was really like that, I have to say it's not possible at all. The restaurant is nice, the concept is cool too, but unfortunately it doesn't help with bad staff.

Celebrated my 30th birthday there. The atmosphere was great, Kristijan & the team had already decorated for me. We had a separate area just for us. The birthday guests were thrilled with the food. Party platters and tarte flambée were great for the occasion. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable.

I went to the second in Sternen on Wednesday and ordered chicken wings honey BBQ. I'm very disappointed, I couldn't notice the taste of honey BBQ and the chicken wings were still red and so bloody that I couldn't eat them. I asked the waitress about it and there was no reaction/comment from either her or other staff. Very unfortunate..

Nice restaurant with a very cool new and modern decor and lighting. I personally really liked the facility. The food is very good, the spare ribs are recommended as are the giant prawns. The fries are served in a separate miniature shopping cart and are delicious. The service was OK.

Unfortunately, the meat from the rib-eye burger was extremely tough with lumps of fat, impossible to chew. About half of the meat was inedible. Also far too expensive, almost 30Fr for a burger WITHOUT a side dish. Generally not a good value for money.

My wife ordered a cream schnitzel with French fries Duchesse and carrots for lunch today. The schnitzel was probably extremely well covered with sauce to disguise the cook's incompetence? While eating, my wife noticed that the color of the sauce changed to brown to black. When she turned the schnitzel over, it was completely charred at the bottom! She became sick and vomited in the toilet. There was no response to your request to exchange the plate. In the end she still had to pay for everything. How arrogant do you have to be to ask for money for this? The saying probably applies here: "The boss cooks here. Please come anyway..." Without us. Never again. Hospitality and customer loyalty are definitely different. Good luck with this concept.

As always, the food was good and I also find the atmosphere nice to sit in. You can have a good conversation. Unfortunately, the service was (again) very slow, sometimes you feel completely ignored (despite waving)... It's a shame.

There were four of us who had dinner and made reservations by phone. No friendly greeting! Waiter's statement: "Sit at the round table back there." Table was not reserved, prepared and only had 3 chairs. Out of 4 orders, 2 were wrong. Also no proper operation. Statement from the waitress: “Do you want anything else?” Very unfriendly, bad service. Food was mediocre and didn't match the price/performance ratio. We definitely won't eat here again.

Rarely have I found such a large selection of super fine food. Everything was great, friendly and in a good mood. It's always a pleasure to go there.

very unfriendly staff, unprofessional, long waiting times when ordering and paying. Unfortunately there is nothing comparable in terms of atmosphere, so you have to endure it. If you order it's best to pay straight away otherwise you'll have to wait another half an eternity!

Good restaurant for some beers and dinner with friends! Not the cheapest but the food is quite good! EDIT: As of September 2022 the prices have increased by 20-30% in some items. I find it very expensive and service takes really long and isn’t the friendliest.

The sandwich I got was technically inedible. I had to open it and eat the (rather tough) meat separately. A bottled beer Total over 40 euros.

Excellent food with a great ambience in a brewery atmosphere. The ingredients used are of very good quality and we try to create a pleasant experience for the guest. The challenges posed by Corona and the shortage of skilled workers leave their mark everywhere - but they are clearly trying to make the best of it - so perhaps 4 stars would be the right thing at the moment. Conversely, I also have to take a stand: the Sternen Heerbrugg was there for the people during the pandemic and looked after those who couldn't always cook something for themselves... There was always an open ear, even for special requests. Thanks!

Even though there wasn't a lot of customer traffic, I had to wait 25 minutes before I could order. It was not attended to in the following hour either. When the weather is nice, there should also be an outdoor area that is customer-friendly and efficient. I skipped eating. You weren't asked if you would like to eat. This at lunchtime and non-stop cooking. It's a shame, on April 4th, 2022, on my wedding day, this restaurant really impressed me, both the staff and the delicious food.

Waited 50 minutes for lunch. Tarte flambée was cold. Pepper mill clogged, practically empty. When I pointed this out, the pepper mill was inverted in front of my eyes to show that it was still inside. Tarte flambée can be served 1 minute later, slightly warm. No apologies, just annoying looks from the waiter. Good service can be done differently. Too bad, nice restaurant.

I am aware that the food I order is no comparison to the food there. However, the quality was poor. Antipaste was soaked in the juice of the side dishes, ham, cheese etc. without any system thrown into a shaft. The “garlic bread” was garlic toast, which was also flabby. limp can happen, but toast?! seriously? Finally, the ennobled and promoted noble burger. The beef fillet was like the sole of a shoe, had cartilage and was an absolute impudence.. all in all for 53.-unsatisfactory.

Brilliant selection. Cool atmosphere. Very clean despite high frequency. For me, finally a really good American style shop without a fast food atmosphere. Be sure to reserve in advance!

The certificate was not checked. The soup was too salty. The wait is long... far too long. I was sorry for the service. For two... the calculation is wrong. Lots of room for improvement.

Unfortunately, due to the new regulations, we were unable to celebrate our Christmas dinner here as planned and had to cancel the reservation. Because I had already found everything to be extremely friendly and pleasant, I asked about the possibility of delivering food for 11 people. We enjoyed very uncomplicated and extremely courteous service. For the elaborate delivery with starter, main course and drinks, we were offered plates and cutlery which would be picked up again and even a dessert was given! Everything went smoothly and the food was great. I am thrilled and will definitely consider this restaurant again on the next occasion, thank you very much!

45 minutes waiting time for a mulled wine is too long. The mulled wine was perfect for this.

Food is okay but I cannot say the same about the service: they made two mistakes about our orders and in both cases they gave us the blame for them. In particular, they gave us an unordered portion of Spiralpommes. We couldn't have ordered them because we didn't even know what Spiralpommes are. We insisted to take them back and they said to accept them as a gift. In the end, it was not a gift because they left them in the bill. Touchè! In addition to all of this, nobody asked us the Covid pass. It is okay being rude but I would expect at least to respect the law.

Were there today for Sunday brunch (32.-). However, when we saw the buffet, we decided against it. The photos here suggest a great brunch treat. There was 1 table with crushed croissants and rolls. Then some carelessly prepared things (e.g. prawns in cocktail sauce). The cereal was the little Kelloggs boxes. All in all, just not “fun” for this price. We then waited at least 30 minutes for our tea (although one type was delivered incorrectly) and then another hour or so for the alternative breakfast. For the remaining 2 hours, the room was neither cleared nor asked for another drink order. It's a shame, the restaurant otherwise makes a very nice and tasty impression.

The restaurant has an original cloth, but the waiting time until a service comes and the food is on the table is too long. The Riz Casimir is still too bland, the chicken on the salad plate is too dry and the red wine is too warm. 18° when serving should not be exceeded, as stated in every service manual. therefore only 3* 31.10. Oops Kristijan, I like vegetables, but at Riz Casimir you shouldn't forget to put the meat on your plate. And a glass of water would be appropriate with a glass of wine. Therefore still only 3*

I have to honestly say I am disappointed with this restaurant. The presentation and the ambience appear hip, young, fresh. Everything seems very valuable. A look at the map confirms this again. A variety of “special” dishes at high prices. A good gastronomic concept. The service staff is friendly and does a good job. The same cannot be said about the kitchen! Although we were a larger group of around 8-10 people, we all ordered one of the three lunch menus. We had to wait about 35-45 minutes for the food, which was then served staggered over 15 minutes. The first ones in the group had already finished eating, others hadn't received anything yet. The fries in particular were oversalted (that can happen) but otherwise the food didn't leave the impression that it was worth the price that was charged for it. Personally, I can only recommend the restaurant because of the ambience to enjoy a drink in comfort. I won't eat anything there anymore as it's a waste of money for me.

Wanted to have a drink and eat a coup. Waited 15 minutes. Even though a waiter saw me, no one came to take the order. I then had to leave again because my bus was leaving. There weren't many guests but enough staff. Not recommendable! Oh well . I needed an ashtray and sat in the air-conditioned smoking room😂
