Restaurant Besmer in Kreuzlingen

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Kreuzlingen, I love this atmosphere. The food, super good. I always eat the beef steak with the great fries, perfect! My wife is thrilled with the cordon bleu For me it is always something special to eat here

This restaurant has been run by the Hartmann family for several generations. The house is probably 300 years old and nothing inside has ever been restored. Since it has a unique view of Lake Constance from the Bay of Konstanz via Meersburg to Immenstaad, the location is unique. There is good and simple Hsusman food here. The restaurant is clean and the family is very friendly. In summer you can also sit outside and admire the view. It is often booked for family events or company occasions. I recommend making a reservation on the weekend. I always go there when I'm in Kreuzlingen. The price for a menu with soup or salad, main course and dessert is approx. 17 to 18.-- Unfortunately, on our last visit we were actually served moldy bread and after our complaint, another bread was brought, but it was also bad and tasted rancid. Since we had apparently just ordered the last menu of the day, it was clear that the rest was actually being put together to make a whole menu. The potatoes were burnt and the incident with the bread also caused us to lose our appetite. We will not visit this restaurant again in the future. It's a shame, because it was actually always good, not top-notch gastronomy, but good home cooking.

We found this restaurant by chance. It's a little hidden away from the main road. The meal was excellent. Everything fresh and homemade. We will be back definitely.

Great historical experience. Stepping through the door is like stepping through time back 70 years. Great atmosphere, the location is amazing with indoor and outdoor options and the food comes in huge portions and great quality.

Cordon Bleu is chewy, with an interesting aftertaste thanks to the charcoal layer. Service is mostly unfriendly and too slow for the capacity. Coup unfortunately served 3/4 melted. The best part of lunch – the fries. Contrary to expectations, not recommended at all. Less important, but still tedious: Unfortunately, the cutlery was absolutely dull. The result in combination with tough Cordon Bleu: a bent knife.

I've long forgotten how great it is there. Veal steak, brilliant, soup of the day and a free dessert. Simply homely and delicious, nice people at work. Thanks

THE most iconic vintage restaurant in Kreuztanz, a manageable menu, ice cream instead of cake (you should try it)...no frills, but a beautiful view, beer garden and naked dogs....

Cordonbleu with fries - highly recommended. It's actually almost a shame about the incredibly fine salads that you miss with the fitness plate with cordon bleu! I'm looking forward to the beautiful summer evenings outside again.

Mega old and neglected restaurant. The service was borderline friendly and inattentive and it was too dark, despite old, dusty ceiling lights. !! The red wine we ordered was at refrigerator temperature...far too cold and not really enjoyable. Although there were almost no guests present, the two of us with the same order waited forty minutes for our Zürigschnätzeltes with Rösti!! The food was acceptable...but nothing more!! Once and never again !! Not recommended. 😟👎👎😟
