I have celiac disease and was drawn to the restaurant because it had a good selection of gluten-free options. The landlady knows everything well and served us very well. The offer includes, for example, gluten-free pasta, cordon bleu, various salads with gluten-free bread and other meat dishes with side dishes.

We had our family's meal of Fondue Chinoise here and it was great, fast and friendly service thank you 😘

We were there for dinner. The meal was excellent. My special requests were also addressed without further ado. The service was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We felt welcome and will definitely not eat there for the last time.

One star too many... We were at the Birgisch restaurant last Friday. We came from the canton of St. Gallen just for the raclette. Since there were several of us, we reserved a table. And we are very disappointed. We weren't greeted. The raclette came to the table cold. The potatoes were old. No longer worth a visit! A pity.

Besondere Freude hatten wir an einem unscheinbar als "Vorspeise" angepriesenen "Grünen Salat", der sich als sorgfältig arrangiertes, mit frischen Kräutern und verschiedenen Kerne angereichertes Kunstwerk entpuppte! Praktisch auch, dass sich die Haltestelle des Postautos nur wenige Schritte vom Restaurant entfernt befindet. Ich kann dieses Gasthaus vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen!
