Restaurant Bistro in Flüelen

We stood in front of closed doors. Unfortunately only open when the weather is nice!

Small, neat self-service restaurant

Actually I doubled down, this isn't the Badi... Sorry for reviewing the wrong place. I just bought something to drink from you and was pleasantly surprised. Next time I will stop here and am looking forward to the food. Greeting

Nice day sunny bistro clean it's a shame that you have to pay 20 centimes even if you get it for 89 fr. I find it a bit sad to have consumed it when you need it so much

COFFE BREAK :-) Bistro located right by the lake, just right for a coffee break. They also have a small menu for snacks and fresh cakes. PP and toilet available. Self-service

The very friendly staff tries to make the best of what I think is an impossible concept with fast service. Running a barracks as a self-service restaurant in a very nice place is a shame, especially since there are no alternatives. Due to the concept, the menu selection is narrow. The wienerli with fries were ok. Great for a quick calorie intake (especially with kids, playground nearby). Not so much to enjoy the impressive backdrop.

Price-performance ratio is not right... as mentioned in other reviews, the food was not fresh, bratwurst was completely dried out, chicken nuggets were not edible (contained pieces of cartilage). We would definitely not recommend this bistro…

Super cool playground and I was able to order an Egli-Chnusperli menu from the bistro to the playground.

In a prime location with a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, staff who act according to the motto "Attention customer, attention effort". Very unfriendly and inflexible. Poor offering on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Directly at the Flüelen boat station

You first have to come up with the stupid idea of ​​putting a self-service restaurant in exactly the most beautiful spot in the city. The execution is then also corresponding. Serving like in prison, eating like in the canteen, coffee from the machine. The municipality of Flüelen heard the prayers of a tourist, took away the tenant's concession and built something appropriate. Non-binding suggestion. *smiley*

The best thing to start with: The location is great. But unfortunately that's really the only thing. The service at the self-service checkout was poor. Only after some persuasion did the lady at the grill decide to grill a cervelat and a bratwurst, even though it was advertised everywhere. The potato salad was expensive (9CHF), very little and from a can. I have never seen such a small cervelat in my life and what a shame: the slice of bread was very dry (the day before yesterday?) and packed in a plastic bag! All in all, two drinks, a bratwurst, Cervelat and “some” potato salad cost 33 francs. Price-performance below all cannons. Service desert bistro Flüelen.

Quite crowded, but well located on the shore of Lake Lucerne, at the harbor of Flüelen.

Nice location but could really use some renovation! For a restaurant in a region that wants to be touristy, the staff doesn't even try to speak a word of good German and a smile is optional. Can do better in Switzerland!
