I was at the ZickZack Restaurant again because the owner changed again. The taste and preparation was worlds apart from the older owner. I ordered a kebab and it was really a kebab! I had to eat the other half the next day😅 I can only recommend it!

I ate the best food here for the first time. Really delicious, warm and excellent food👌

The ZickZack Restaurant in Wädenswil has a bar and a small restaurant. At the counter I ordered a kebab with French fries; both were prepared quickly and were packaged well since I took the food with me. The kebab was prepared with sauces that I requested and tasted good but not excellent. The team in the kitchen was very friendly and even had fun and humor while preparing the food.

The restaurant is very nice and the employees are very friendly. We ordered a grilled lamb plate, the portion was large and the food tasted very good. It's worth a visit, we'll come back!

My personal favorite kebab. Lots of everything + a little extra meat at the end when preparing. Price performance exceeded. Size filled to the limit. Dough and preparation 1A. I've been driving 40km regularly for several years, whether by train or car, just for the kebab. It's worth every bite.

Unfortunately the quality has dropped here. It used to be the best kebab in the region. Today I recommend everyone to avoid this snack bar. The once generous portions have become ridiculously small. We experienced an absolute no-go on our last (definitely last) visit. We ordered Dürüm and a portion of fries each. One of the two employees then wanted to prepare new fries. His colleague shouted something to him in Turkish, whereupon the other one put the frozen fries back. The fries I received were cold and so limp that I don't even want to know how long they had been sitting around somewhere. In short: If you want crappy food and like to be ripped off, this is the place for you.

Since the new opening I've been very disappointed, the kebab in the flatbread is a child's portion and too little sauce looks rocking. very thin. For the same price I can get a larger and better filled one at most places and the filling is ok for the pocket bread too but there is too little sauce and too dry for both. Pity.

A whopping 25 CHF for a very poorly made and tasteless pizza - The sauce came separately (in the plate) - the onion came separately in the plate (raw) - Meat just slapped on top. The sad thing was that he had pen and paper to record everything. I would have liked to see the notes. That would be by far the worst food I have eaten in my life. Never again !

The woman who speaks standard German and sometimes works at the cash register is very rude and makes you feel unwelcome. The nice man, on the other hand, is great and makes good food.

Kebab to go, the restaurant was closed. Fast service, attentive staff, we don't speak German, but the staff did everything to make us understood and with patience and a smile as a bonus. Very Bad Service, very rude employee. Asked for a Burguer that was 11.30chf, abs wanted to pay with card- in a rude way told me “ok you pay 12.50 then”. As I had to pay more I asked for a bottle of water and he was super upset and rude again. Don’t recommend

We ordered a calzone, it tasted excellent, really worth ordering. The delivery service is absolutely unbearable. We ordered by phone at 8:10 p.m. with the promise that it would take 20 minutes. The calzone was delivered at 9:25 p.m., on a Thursday when there was definitely not a lot of activity.

The “Carpe Diem”, located close to the Wädenswil train station and Lake Zurich, offers, according to its own description, Mediterranean food. The menu can be read through quite quickly. There are starters such as garlic bread and salads, main courses include some Italian pasta dishes and some Turkish specialties. I would have liked to have had a little more choice, including when it came to meat-free dishes. Furthermore: Anyone expecting dishes from other Mediterranean cuisines around the world such as Croatian, Greek or Spanish is unfortunately out of luck. I tried "Vegi Köfte", Turkish lentil balls filled with vegetables and mushrooms, with quite rich, refreshing vegetable side dishes. As far as this dish is concerned, at least I enjoyed it, and sauces were also offered with it. UPDATE (main courses): In the meantime I was also able to try the vegetarian kebab. I find it extremely delicious and successful. But if you want it to be very spicy, it's best to make it very clear ;) The selection of desserts is not particularly large, most of the few offerings are aimed at children and otherwise a Turkish dessert (halva with nuts and ice cream, if I'm not mistaken) is offered. Some dishes are also sold as take-away at an outside counter. The drinks menu offers a lot, including some cocktails and wines. The interior of the restaurant makes you think that it could have once been a club. Not particularly cozy, rather plain, but okay for eating and you can possibly watch the hustle and bustle of the bus station (unfortunately not the lake). The service was very friendly to us and quite accommodating. By the way, it would be desirable to fill the restaurant's meager website with more information so that potential guests can find out what can be served there, let alone when it is open. In short: If you want to have a business lunch or a date, "Carpe Diem" may not be the first place to go, but it's fine to go out for a meal or a drink. In addition, travelers from the train station can get food easily and locally, also thanks to the take-away.
