The Cavigilli restaurant I recently visited is simply stunning. The ambience, food and service were all of the highest standard. The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was stylish but not over the top. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The menu was extensive and offered a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. The service was also excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. My glass was never empty and my order was taken and served promptly and efficiently. All in all, my evening in the restaurant was simply perfect. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining restaurant that offers first class cuisine and excellent service. If you are looking for a restaurant that offers a welcoming atmosphere, first class cuisine and excellent service, you should definitely visit this restaurant.

A wonderful restaurant! Friendly welcome and warm service. The menu is not large but offers a surprising variety. The quality of all courses was extraordinary. The range of drinks is appropriate and varied. We will come back soon. Finest gastronomy with that certain something! Obrigado.

disappointment After reading positive reviews I was expecting a good dinner but... We ordered two salad starters, both had too much balsamic and I couldn't eat mine at all. The main course is boiled beef and cod with rice. Tafelspitz was just average and fish was completely tasteless, so my wife ate about a third. Then we gave up, paid 140chf for 3 of four uneaten dishes and went home hungry after 45 minutes. The waitress just apologized with a glass of wine. Cavigilli missed all the flavors this time. To avoid any misunderstanding, I have lived in Switzerland for years and know pretty well what to expect.

I love this Italian restaurant housed in an old typical Graubünden house The cuisine is excellent and every time I go to Graubünden I make a detour to Flims to enjoy it! This time I particularly enjoyed the tagliatelle with mushrooms - perfectly cooked beef tagliata the game tartare was excellent but it would have been even better if it had been cut with a knife! In summer, meals are served in their pretty shaded garden. I highly recommend this restaurant!

If you don't look for the restaurant, you won't find it - but it's definitely worth a visit. The food is excellent, the wine selection is very pleasing, the staff is attentive and extremely friendly... What more could you want? The only small point of criticism is that the seating arrangement at our table of three was very crowded, but this is probably due to Covid.

The restaurant is indeed very nicely designed and furnished. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food and wine is awesome. However the wine menu is rather expensive. We missed a starter menu that is not very big and huge. The seasonal dishes were delicious and super nicely presented.

One of the best meals in my life! Truly magnificent! A must when in flims, but don’t forget to book your table beforehand, it’s a small restaurant.

Value for money very poor. Supposedly homemade ice cream with such an artificial taste can't be and for CHF 4.50 a scoop, cream separately CHF 1.50. Small ball, no decoration with strawberry or peppermint. We don't recommend it.

Absolutely top restaurant, but you should reserve 3-4 days in advance, otherwise it will be fully booked quickly.

Not just a culinary delight! It was delicious. The dishes were also beautifully presented to the eye. You also eat with your eyes. And last but not least, the service was very attentive and customer-oriented. Highly recommended and we will be back.

The food is really very good. Hence the 3 stars. The chef is top notch. Everything around it makes a somewhat ambivalent impression... having to make a reservation... a long waiting time... service that sometimes doesn't speak German well and so misunderstandings are inevitable and, that was the last thing, the parasol was taken away from us because we hadn't made a reservation . We were treated like second class guests who had to leave. Sorry, there weren't any regular customers 😉 I've never experienced anything like that in 50 years and I don't want to experience it again so quickly. So we had to fry our food in the blazing heat. The behavior and the service do not correspond to one's own standards given the external appearance and price structure. Prices are in the upper segment. Here men and women can get better alternatives elsewhere at the same price. All in all, it's nerve-wracking. The enjoyment and relaxation are gone. Therefore only recommended to a limited extent and for people who are capable of suffering.... an isolated case? Unfortunately no. Unfortunately, friends of ours were also regular customers and were shocked in a different way. It's a shame because the food is really excellent and an experience. But what's the point if men and women can't enjoy it because it's somehow not right. And at that price I don't expect treatment like in a kebab shop.

Excellent Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine, better to book as the place is not very large, which makes for an intimate atmosphere. Menu offering dishes of the day as well as a menu offering fish and meat dishes. Healthy and tasty food, we will return next time!

Very fine food and a beautiful garden for eating outside. Only the nice waiter seemed to be standing next to himself: he brought different pasta than what was ordered (we didn't complain because it would have been our second choice) and when we asked if we would like limoncello, no one came. There are 4 stars only because of the good food.
