Very tasty food, huge portions, served very hot. The service is very courteous and friendly. The ambience becomes secondary. Nice village restaurant with a very good price/performance ratio.

Very good little restaurant. The thin crust pizzas are very large and really very good. The service is very good. The restaurant is not very big and places fill up very quickly. Pizzas around 21 CHF.

A very cozy restaurant. Pizza is of course the main dish, but also schnitzel, home-made Rösti and other things on the menu. Very friendly atmosphere. The food was really tasty. Rösti is highly recommended. If we are ever in Saas Almagel again we will definitely come back.

Was this THE perfect pizza? Wow, what is conjured up from the wood oven. Unbelievable, you drive to the end of Switzerland to Saas Almagell and get a pizza that is second to none. Whether in the pizzeria “Channa” or here in “Central”. Most pizzerias in Switzerland could still learn something from how pizza can delight the palate. Update January 2023: Still a highlight of Italian cuisine in Saas Almagell. A reservation is recommended as the restaurant is not too big. Loving, friendly service and the portions are still very generous. We will be back!

Central on the village square in Saas Almagel is very quiet, beers are sparkling and fairly priced, pizza is still coming So, pizza is expensive but baked in a stone oven by your Italian husband, super! Go back again the next day
