The table decorations on the seats and throughout the restaurant are sensible and tasteful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a very good impression. From our point of view, a visit to the restaurant is highly recommended. The food wasn't the only thing that amazes people in this inn! I really enjoy trying out new places and am on the lookout for new restaurants around the clock, but I will remain loyal to this restaurant. The waiters are always extremely friendly and very accommodating. This makes us thoroughly happy with every visit.

After a long period of reflection, I would now like to comment on the Concerto restaurant. For a few months, like many other young (unskilled) girls, I was an hourly temporary worker at Concerto. I think it's a great concept to give unskilled people a chance to work as a waiter in a restaurant. However, you do not receive thorough training. I was overwhelmed with the cash register system and had no idea about the wine range, let alone what food was on the menu. Say; I couldn't give the customers a professional recommendation or explanation of the dishes - which is what you can expect from such a high-priced restaurant, in my opinion. I agreed an hourly wage with the operations manager in advance. I didn't get paid for 1 hour of my work every day because of the breaks - which I didn't even take because there was simply no time to take an hour away from the action. The tips are apparently distributed among the employees, it's a shame that I haven't seen a cent of them today. So dear customers; It's better not to leave a tip. Or even better; If you give the tip directly to the manager, then it will be in the “right” place. Conclusion: Never again Concerto.

Anyone who wants something to eat before the concert or just wants to drink coffee. It's better to go to McDonald's because you get better food and better coffee. Even the service is better. The service is very bad at Concherto, you might think they are unskilled. Cheap = Willing according to the motto. At least the two blondes who work there. Food was okay but overpriced. You had to wait a long time for the food and when it came to wine the service had no idea. Unfortunately not recommended. Professionalism is not very important there.

She couldn't open the wine bottle properly. 3. Don't give it to the person you gave it to try first. 4. You should pour approximately the same amount for all guests. For a restaurant that is right next to the theater, you can expect that wine expertise is also available. The food was also rather average. The Wiener Schnitzel was weak. The vegetables and fries were good. Given the prices you can expect more. A pity.

Had something at the bar in Concerto for the first time last night. Everything was fine, but when it was nearing the end of the day, the whole team gathered at the bar to settle the score. They distributed the money on the bar, and the tips were simply emptied in front of the guests, calculated and distributed among the employees. But the biggest kicker is that they talked loudly about the revenue from food and drink, so that every guest at the bar heard the daily revenue. Very unprofessional.

The Concerto restaurant in St.Gallen got its name because of its location: It is built into the Tonhalle St. Gallen, and in the Tonhalle - well - concerts are given. The Concerto is popular with everyone - and not just with music lovers and concert goers. When the weather is nice, we also serve outside, under white parasols, with a view of the Brühlpärklein - an opportunity for a romantic visit to a coffee house on a cheerful afternoon.
