Apart from the sublime view of the 4000 mountain range on the other bank, there is the well-known Altitude restaurant where the Chasse and Brizolée menus currently offered have nothing to envy of some gourmets. I don't usually rate ski slope bistros or cafeterias, but I've been going to this restaurant for 50 years. Their “three layers” cheese crust is truly the best I have ever had. Finish by scraping the fondue pot with a fork. It has changed little in half a century. It deserves to be classified as a historic monument. Good-natured family atmosphere, in a gigantic room, a bit of a "dining factory", with a bonus for the sunny terrace with a view over the entire valley, as well as for the bar area. My friends tell me that the self-service is not up to par: I admit that for my part, I order the cheese crust every time and ignore the rest!

The meal was delicious, I chose the crispy goat cheese. I recommend it. The cheese comes from the Luc Besson goat farm in Grimisuat just below Anzère. The presentation is magnificent served with a mixed salad nicely decorated with flowers. And value for money 22chf nothing to say would be good for your taste buds and your wallet! The team is smiling and welcoming, I will come back with pleasure during my next visit to Anzère
