This is a really nice place in the "Clos du Doubs". Do not expect wonders - the Clos is not a prime touristy sight (therefore only four stars). But if you like places off the beaten track and rivers in mountainous landscapes, go for it. There is a small camping place and the Restaurant is sort of geared to serve this facility. Familial atmosphere, not a crowded tourist trap!

Go your way. The portions are children's portions! I go out hungry. What a pity! The setting is idyllic, but the service really leaves something to be desired…. A coffee cup of fries with trout, that’s the portion, the waitress replies…. Actually a canteen for a group of children…. As a result we didn’t have dessert…

A cet endroit, une barque à fond plat vous permet - tel un gondolier à Venise - de traverser cette mythique rivière qu'est le Doubs. La truite, dont c'est la spécialité incontestée, et d'autres mets jurassiens ouvrent une carte très gourmande à un nos papilles curieuses. On peut y accéder par tout les temps et (presque) en toute saison, grâce à une véranda lumineuse et ouverte à toute cette nature. Mais c'est lorsque l'accès à la terrasse est possible que s'ouvre le véritable génie du lieu... De là, peut-être, apercevrez-vous "La Sirène du Doubs"...

Nous avons été manger en famille dans ce sympathique restaurant. Situé directement au bord du Doubs, l'endroit est vraiment romantique et reposant. Nous y avons dégusté la truite merveilleusement préparée par l'équipe de cuisine. Le personnel est à l'écoute et trés avenant.Nous retournerons dans cet endroit magnifique

Sauber mit gutem Service es ist eine beliebte Anlaufstelle für Einheimische, Stammgäste und Wanderer, vor allem im Sommer, so reservieren Sie im Voraus. Die Preise sind korrekt und im Einklang mit den lokalen Bedingungen. Die großen schattigen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss ist sehr schön an heißen Sommertagen.

Visited today with wife and one year old son after 1.5 hour hike. They were full and told and we could not even buy beverages. they were rude and despite empty tables we were clearly not welcome. We took some water in the bathroom and left. Utterly unacceptale for a restaurant located as only option on a popular hiking trail. Shall never hike this valley again.
