We went with 8 people and got a private room. We chose a surprise menu of 2 appetizers, 1 main course and 1 dessert. The decoration of the dishes was basic, however, every dish tasted good. Ps. The service was slow, we could understand that the main dining room was crowded and busy but we had to serve wine by ourselves

It is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Every dish is so special and delicious. Specially the way they turn the simplest things like an egg into the most wonderful dish is beautiful. We even tried the wine pairing and had a great experience. The chef always come to ask you about your experience at the end of your meal and the staff is extremely nice and polite explaining all dishes to you wonderfully. Must visit!

Magnificent experience! Finally I discovered a restaurant which offers a gourmet vegetarian menu, with surprising flavors while respecting the season. Belle découverte! We had dinner yesterday evening in the restaurant and honestly the quality and taste is totally worth it! The food was delicious! We took the 5 course menu and it was delicious, especially the « veau fumé » (usually i’m not a raw meat fan but that was a surprise). Very nice dessert… I’m not a « sweet » nor « dessert » person but it was simply tasty, fresh and delicious : It was « peach declinaison »! The waiters and the service was very good, we didn’t wait much for the food, it was flawless, with good nice timing of the different courses and wine selection! We will 100% come back!

We undoubtedly ate very well, the meal deserves 5 stars. On the other hand, the room is noisy and we almost never understood the waiters when they presented the dishes to us. What left us very bitter was that once we paid, we became invisible. We had to get our coats from the closet ourselves and absolutely no one said goodbye to us. The reception needs to be reviewed and not worthy of a restaurant that aims to be of a certain standard. We will not come back.

We ate on Saturday evening May 13th. The cuisine is good with a nice menu. I did not intend to post a comment on the networks but following the remark of the person in charge of the room I think that it is indeed worth saying. We took the liberty of making a comment during the addition that the wines are a little expensive because in fact 95% of the choice is beyond 100-120 chf per bottle. The 18chf glass is served ready to drop...and don't expect a free coffee even on the second order. We found it a shame because it would have been better to just "understand" the comment without this upset... when you pay more than 630Chf for the bill I think the comment was not inappropriate. This restaurant is not (anymore) a gastro but the wines are 4-5x the market price. The service is average: we were served appetizers twice for example and twice two different waiters who "stepped on each other"... that can happen in an average restaurant or pizzeria but not in this one. Noisy environment I would like to point out. Positive point: The chef came to see us as usual and very appreciable because he seemed very good to us and with less ego than his other colleague...

I dined in this high end restaurant with my daughter a Tuesday evening in early February. Our expectations were high and when installed at our nicely decorated table along the window wall we felt like being part of a scene in Tim Burton's film Beetlejuice. There is a renewal of the house policy with two new young chefs under the supervision by Carlo Crisci, the long-time owner of this gastronomic palace and the menu features an interesting mixture of simple and complex dishes, including vegetarian options. There are wines in all price classes and you can have a rather affordable meal here. My daughter was extremely satisfied with her meal with the exception of a rather bland desert. Personally, I had chosen one of my favorite dishes, calf kidneys. Unfortunately, these were overcooked and the sauce too salty. Service is polished and corteous. So overall, a mixed experience.

La reconversion du restaurant gastronomique de Carlo Crisci en une table de type bistronomique est véritablement une grande réussite. Le cadre a été rajeuni, le mobilier est sobre et très élégant, les plats sont généreux et gourmands, les vins à des prix tout à fait raisonnables, au verre ou en bouteille, le service attentif et efficace. Bien sûr, les assiettes-tableaux ne sont plus là pour nous enchanter avant la dégustation, mais la vaisselle est belle et les dressages soignés.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié pour l’une le court-bouillon de foie gras, pour l’autre l’os à moelle aux escargots, deux plats parfaitement exécutés et très goûteux. Le filet de bœuf cuit à la broche était parfait, généreux et d’excellentes qualité, tout comme le poisson pris par l’autre convive et servi avec un bol de quinoa au basilic. Cuissons, assaisonnement, garniture, tout est très bon (sauf peut-être la cuillerée de purée d’épinards accompagnant le bœuf). La crème brulée mousseuse est absolument divine et d’une grande légèreté, le sorbet à la fraise pris par l’autre convive très savoureux, celui aux agrumes un peu moins typé (sans doute un manque d’acidité) et décoré de morceaux de noix peu gourmands (un pralin serait peut-être un meilleur mariage).Le pain est absolument exceptionnel et l’huile d’olive, dont une bouteille reste sur la table le temps du repas, toujours aussi goûteuse ! A relever le plat du jour, soupe, plat, café, servi à midi en semaine au prix de fr. 21.--!Les quelques petits points négatifs :La bouteille de désinfectant à l’entrée n’a pas de bouton poussoir, il faut la prendre en main, la déboucher et se servir, pas super pratique !Les serveurs ne cessent pas de toucher leur masque au niveau nez-bouche, ce qui est très fortement déconseillé.Et plus anecdotique :Pas de Prosecco dans l’offre des vins, ni de San Pelligrino, étonnant dans ce restaurant tenu durant des décennies par un chef transalpin qui est encore investi dans la nouvelle formule !En résumé, une table que nous trouvons excellente et où nous retournerons le plus vite et le plus souvent possible. A essayer, de toute urgence !

Nous sommes allés à la fleur de sel pour tester leur nouveau concept bistrot.Une entrée d'os à moelle aux escargot qui personnelle ne m'a pas transcendée. J'ai mangé des os à moelle bien meilleur ailleurs et j'avoue que payer 30.-- un os à moelle c'est surfait. Surtout qu'il n'y avait absolument aucune déco dans l'assiette. Ça lui donnait un côté tout triste à cet os. En plus il n'y avait même pas un pain grillé pour accompagner. Vraiment déçue de cette entrée. Heureusement l'assiette de pigeon qui a suivi a relever un peu le niveau. Des goûts des saveurs une mise en valeur du produit tout à fait remarquable. Quantité correct et goût ajusté. Ce plat fût un régal. Le dessert une crème brûlée au vin cuit fait en façon "espuma"a donné un côté léger à ce dessert qui d'ordinaire est plutôt lourd. Par contre déception à nouveau quand à la déco inexistante. Un repas pas donc en demi-tinte pour facture plutôt plus que "fleur de sel" mais bien salée!
