We had dinner with friends on Easter Sunday, the service was unfriendly and the food was not prepared with love at all and didn't taste good at all. Were there for the first and last time! Very disappointed

We wanted to spend a cozy girls' evening in the tropical plant restaurant and were very disappointed. Our food was "forgotten" (noticed after 45 minutes), the water we ordered was also "forgotten", we waited an incredibly long time to be allowed to pay and when I wanted to pay, the waiter didn't have a single franc in his wallet for the return money - again Waiting for the money... The food was average at best, the liver was swimming in fat and the schnitzel was soggy, as were the fries. Maybe we had a bad day, but you didn't convince us. We won't come anymore. Astonishingly bad and a shame for every franc spent.

I was there for dinner at the beginning of the year. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere is really great. Due to the size of over 200 seats, the service is carried out by different people per table, but this is not a disadvantage. reservation is an advantage!

A restaurant not to recommend, rude staff, we were still having a meal when the glasses of wine were taken away from us, as soon as one person stopped eating the plate was taken away, two customers were still eating the main meal that the dessert was served, the walls of the room where we were eating were dismantled noisily during the meal, we felt like we were unwelcome, personally when a company of 30 people comes to eat in an establishment we take care of it, it will be the first and the last time. We tried to spend New Year's Eve in this establishment three years ago! Lamentable! Chinese fondue with flabby and odorous meat, lukewarm and overly salty broth, completely outdated service, too much money in this place. Never again! We left before finishing the meal!

Very nice hotel and restaurant. The decor is pretty and the food is good.

Fitness plate with salad. Salad, a whole bunch of green salad from the package. Fresh carrot salad, leftover from the can. The rump steak was good, medium rare, as requested. I didn't receive any herb butter or bread with it.

We had made a table reservation at the window overlooking the beautiful pond...but got a table in a niche with a view of the walls. In addition, the woman's answer was very unfriendly: "We don't have a seat at the window" ... and without an apology. Then the same person brought the food and asked me for the cloth napkin back and gave me a paper napkin and without a PLEASE! “The spice stains won’t come out anymore...” Sorry, I’ve never experienced anything like that before. And 2 stars are for the super sweet serving daughter who made the whole thing a little better.

The decoration is very pretty, good atmosphere. On the other hand, the hamburger was sad, the meat too small and the price was high. The entrecôte was better.

I had reserved a table in the plants for our daughter's 30th birthday, unfortunately it didn't work out! The table decoration was also not what we had imagined, although I said when we made the reservation that we would pay for the table decoration. It was supposed to be a special day but we were very disappointed 😞 We have eaten much better!

Magnificent, green setting which is worth the detour. The meal is good and the staff extremely nice. My meat wasn't cooked enough so they took it back from me and on the way back they served it to me on a heart-shaped plate with a little sorry on the side of the plate. I really appreciated the gesture. ☺️

After today's dinner, we unfortunately say our final goodbyes to the Florida restaurant. After many years of very changeable visits, we always tried to take the positive experiences with us. There were always small misunderstandings and unfortunately many changes in personnel. After 8 years as guests, including our wedding dinner in 2015, you expect to at least know the names and the faces over time. Our order today was chosen in a more down-to-earth manner due to the busy restaurant. We thought that nothing could go wrong with a tomato mozzarella salad and a breaded schnitzel with vegetables and fries. The salad was simple and tasted very special due to the very bitter balsamic dressing. Afterwards the schnitzel was served, but unfortunately it was still half raw. After 10 minutes we received the same piece of meat back with a different plate. The balsamic vinegar used to write the apology was well-intentioned and surprisingly tasted better than the one on the salad. However, the reheated schnitzel was extremely fatty and unfortunately had a slightly burnt taste. The vegetables were most likely reheated in the microwave and tasted terrible. The plates were returned to the staff well filled. Our short visit was paid for entirely with a tip, apart from an aperitif (glass of white wine, glass of beer). Last but not least, in the catering industry it is always difficult to positively surprise dissatisfied guests. As long-time guests, we would have liked the bill to have been corrected in the end. We would have immediately made up for this “loss” with a new visit.

Bad service, normal tap water 7.- absolute impudence, cocktails without alcohol are the same price as with alcohol, food is not intoxicating. Everything is just very disappointing.

I've heard about this place for many years from different family members but I've never been here myself so my sister decided to take Mom and I for lunch while I was visiting Switzerland. This is a gorgeous little private zoo with a flamingo colony, turtles and ducks and geese, on a beautiful piece of land, delightfully decorated and laid out to look just like a beach town in Florida. 🫰 I ordered the beef tartar which was absolutely scrumptious, and also tried the veal liver which was also perfectly cooked and very yummy and so was my mother's horse steak. 👍 The ingredients are fresh and clean and beautifully presented, and our lovely server who was fantastic and friendly and efficient is a descendant of the founder and owner of the place. ❤️ All in all, a fantastic experience and a restaurant I would highly recommend and will visit again on my next trip to Switzerland. 👏

We sat at the back of the winter garden last Saturday lunchtime (straight from the entrance to the back). The main waitress who served us was quite unfriendly, which surprised me as my family has been eating there for my grandparents' birthdays for over 15 years and the service has usually always been very friendly. Initially, my dog ​​(Labrador mix) was brought a bowl the size of a Chihuahua. After it was seen that after less than two minutes I had walked through the entire restaurant to the toilet to fill up the water, a slightly larger bucket was brought to us (by a different waitress, but still). I don't understand why there are now around 5 or 6 veggie/vegan dishes on the menu, but not a single milk substitute for coffee. What I understand even less is that the waitress comes to you rather cheekily and says that she has been working there for 13 years and no one has ever asked about it. Unfortunately, I was very negatively surprised and hope that the circumstances will be better on my next visit.

The food is always excellent and the ambience is even more so with the tropical plants. The orchids are still blooming at the moment and it looks even more beautiful. The view of the small lake with the flamingos and ducks is also beautiful. There is also a mini golf course right next to it and a small playground.

Unfortunately the meat wasn't particularly good (rubbery consistency & quickly got cold because the plate wasn't really warm. Some of the fries were very salty, the other portion was very bland. Unfortunately the fries were served in a plastic bowl. I personally find it unsuitable in a restaurant.

Not recommended late in the evening. Despite the signs saying "warm food until 10:30 p.m.", no snacks other than small chips available. These will then also be charged if unopened with the smug statement from the waitress: “You can take it with you…”

My colleague and I had dinner at the Florida restaurant today. We were always satisfied and were served very friendly (thanks Valeria).

It's always a detour into a fantastic world. Whether it's a "tête à tête" or a large family celebration, there is a suitable table for everyone. If there were more stars to give, they would have deserved them. Excellent food, staff attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful 👍 We will always come back.

My husband and I regularly eat fondue chinoise here and what can we say - it's simply the tastiest here! No wish remains unfulfilled. Saturday evenings are always very crowded and guests should simply allow themselves enough time, which is completely fine in my opinion. That's why I wouldn't deduct a star here :-) We are more than satisfied and happy after every meal at Florida :-)

Too expensive for dishes without surprises. Perch fillets coated in too thick breading placed on 3 small salad leaves and a small tomato which have heated under the fish, it's not appetizing. The central aisle of the restaurant with all these tropical plants is pretty but the tables on the sides look sad and ordinary. Damage. Other times it was more careful.

Eat good. Service polite, attentive and courteous. Outpatient unique and well cared for. I'd love to come back.

We often go to Florida to have dessert. But we also go out to eat in Florida 2-3 times a year. Are always very satisfied. The food is top. It has a very large menu where everyone can find something. The ambience with playground, pond/flamingos, mini golf course and parrots is sensational. The restaurant is very clean. Had dinner there on Mother's Day last year and it was full. Nevertheless, we were served with great quality. I don't think there are many restaurants in Seeland that have such a high quantity and yet the quality is still good. The price/performance ratio is also absolutely ok. The only criticism I have is that the parrot ice cream for the children is no longer on the menu. Understand that there is always change. But it's difficult for children to understand =). Still a great restaurant, highly recommended for families.

The environment with plants and animals is very beautiful! Unfortunately the quality of the restaurant is not right. Every time some of the fries, which are supposed to be served later, are missing. You have to ask for the remaining fries every time. The food isn't particularly warm. Sauces and fries are simply placed on the table and you then have to figure out who to share with. The Florida steak was very disappointing in terms of appearance, quantity and no vegetables (but it's not on the menu). Other dishes are better, but the fries aren't on the plate and you have to make sure you get them. Doesn't the origin of the meat actually have to be stated on the menu?

We've been there many times. The food was always very good and the staff was impeccable. Unfortunately, that seems to have changed. - September 2022 We have reserved a romantic table for which you understandably have to pay a surcharge due to the decoration. So far so good. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our table. We were there for about 10 minutes until the wine list was brought to us. That's still okay too. However, things went downhill from there. After another 10 minutes we were able to order the wine. Unfortunately, it was simply left on our table unopened. The waitress didn't think to open the wine even though she passed our table several times. After a long wait, we spoke to another waitress who opened the wine for us and poured it correctly. A few minutes later our food arrived. Unfortunately, our waitress (not the one who opened the wine) was the first to tear down the paid decorations without asking if it was okay, saying "that's in the way" and she put the sauces on the roundels, some of them out of reach, and us also generally extremely incompetently served. She never poured us the wine. Either they were passing waiters or we ourselves. We were also able to observe how our waitress served the neighboring table and tried to open a wine for about 15 minutes. Finally, the guest took the wine bottle from her, opened it and poured it. There were still a number of criticisms, but since the food was good, we had never been disappointed before and the waitress was incompetent but extremely helpful and friendly, we didn't complain and still gave her a tip at the end of the evening. Although we felt that this should be reported as you can expect staff with serving qualities in a restaurant that is not exactly cheap. The waitress didn't know the menu either. Anyway, she was always friendly. Today we were there in the afternoon. We were sent to the corner by reception as the restaurant was already quite full. Absolutely understandable. However, after a few minutes the waitress came and complained with a "fake smile" that we weren't allowed to just sneak into a place. We didn't go into that. So we started ordering. Unfortunately, this waitress didn't know the menu either, opened it and said that no one had ever ordered it. At this point we were perhaps a little irritated, but anything but angry. After about 30 minutes the lady came by again and wanted to know if we hadn't received the food yet. She apologized and came over after about another 10 minutes and threw the bread on the table and said the food would be coming soon. While we had to wait again for about 10-15 minutes, we observed that she also took the orders incorrectly at other tables or brought the wrong drinks/dishes. When we received the food, we were very disappointed because the plates were completely carelessly arranged (meat platter/beer brewer's platter). The food was okay, but nothing more. Unfortunately the price wasn't worth the meal today. When we wanted to pay, the waitress was waiting for her tip. Today was the most restaurant visit in my life where I didn't tip. However, we will definitely eat at Florida again and hope that we were just unlucky the last few times. However, if the two experiences are confirmed again, we will steer clear of Florida in the future.

We went there as a family for a birthday dinner. The staff seemed quite rushed and unfortunately not very friendly. Unfortunately an order was served with the wrong side dish. But since there were 5 of us and didn't want to wait any longer, the unpleasant thing was grudgingly accepted. Unfortunately no sorry from the staff. A little later he asked whether the desired side dish (vegetables) was still wanted. This was confirmed and within a few minutes the small pan was at the table. The restaurant also settled the bill at the end; the vegetables that were originally ordered were also present on the bill. So you have to charge the customer for the error, which is a shame. The restaurant has had a great reputation with us and has always been a pleasure to visit, but things like this make your stomach ache. I also had different memories of the inattentive staff, who usually ran past the tables with a stare in their eyes so as not to have to accept another drink request. Unfortunately, it is currently no longer the next choice for another trip. Unfortunately, even the excellent food of the usual good quality couldn't save everything. I hope that there will be a little more hospitality and a good mood here again, and that the staff won't just be working on a sparse basis.

Very nice restaurant where we were received with a smile and kindness. The staff was very efficient. Fresh food, delicious meat. We were placed in a pretty place, surrounded by very well-kept flowers and plants, a table decorated with hearts and a quality fabric tablecloth. When leaving, the sommelier offered me the roses that decorated our table. A huge congratulations for this establishment!
