We wanted to go somewhere warm with our children because the weather was a bit nasty. The restaurant upstairs was full, the one downstairs was closed. So we sat down at the table downstairs near the toilets and ate a sandwich. After a short time, however, we were very rudely asked to leave. I find such treatment very disturbing and not family-friendly.

As part of the ski school's torchlight descent event, we were back in the ski area for a long time and were guests at the Hasestall for the first time. Sensational location with the view from the restaurant of such a backdrop. Service tip top. The food (fine cheese fondue and spaghetti with delicious Bolognese) was top notch - there was even a second helping for our hungry boys. Ambience also very nice. Recommended. Many greetings over the mountain from Chastebiel (Blitzingen).

We were in the rabbit hutch this afternoon. The food was very, very tasty and the two service staff were friendly and attentive. We are already looking forward to winter.

Enjoyed a delicious Berliner Rösti and a good glass of Schweizer Weisse.

Everything was fine, only the music on the terrace disturbed the beautiful mountain landscape.

The food was excellent, but the staff can be faster and friendlier.

We visited this place on a Saturday in the early afternoon. We stayed on the terrace which is well sheltered from the wind. The service was quite quick. Some staff members were friendly, others not at all. The chicken nuggets we ordered were tasty, especially with the chili sauce. However, the "Käseschnitte" did not have much flavor. Probably the worst I have ever eaten.

Food was very good and conditions were very quick. Gladly again.

I've been enjoying coming to the Fleschen for years, especially now that it's been remodeled so well and has great landlords. Unfortunately, the second section of the train didn't run; we actually wanted to hike the 7 lake tour. In my opinion, Bellwad only relies on bikers; hikers and older people are no longer valued. But the rabbit stable team can't do it, keep it up.

I was at the Hasenstall restaurant on Sunday with my dog ​​after a hike. The view from the terrace is simply fantastic. The sausage salad garnished in a mason jar was very tasty and beautifully presented. Even when there was a high volume of visitors, the service staff was very attentive and friendly. Even the dog got a bowl of water and more than one treat 😉 big compliments to Irene and Daniel Fischer and the whole team. I would love to come back with the whole family.

They are working extremely slow and can’t even get our orders right. Their behavior is also horrible, they act very rude.

Finally a real restaurant on the Bellwald ski slope again! The Thai soup with satay skewer is delicious - the Kaiserschmarren that followed was anything but a Schmarren!

Recently renovated and (it seems to me) new management. Service ok, food and price ok. Beautiful terrace and superb view.

The terrace is great with a beautiful view. The self-service restaurant downstairs is nice and spacious, the food is good and the staff is friendly. TOP. Highly recommended. The restaurant was remodeled in summer 2022 and is under new management. Before, the rest was not recommended.

Great and stylishly renovated. Very fine. Good cuisine. Nice, efficient service. Slope restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains. Also easily accessible for pedestrians.

We stayed in the newly renovated rabbit hutch this winter. The service was friendly and the cholera was a hit! Highly recommended and no comparison to before.

I would generally like to see a bit more enthusiasm and motivation from some employees, although that may be because certain employees don't speak the language perfectly. But the food was very good.

Basically a pleasant and friendly restaurant, but if you write on the menu that every dish is also available as a children's menu, this probably also applies to the bratwurst with fries. I think it's totally wrong to suddenly ask for the full amount at the checkout and then to use the argument "we can't make half sausages" isn't true. For a child, half a sausage or a smaller one would be sufficient. I ask you to adjust this on the menu.

I can't imagine that the low rating refers to the self-service restaurant on the lower level. Friendly service at the counter, prices OK (cheap children's plates up to 12 years old), clean and enough space. The goulash soup was more of a tomato soup - it didn't have much "content". Otherwise everything is fine

In a completely new look. Wonderful, homely, beautifully done. Clean and very good food... Forget all the bad reviews, everything has been completely renovated, the restaurant is great, there is a cool outdoor bar to relax in. The staff... very friendly... 😉... Hamed 👍👍👍

Forget all the reports about the untenable conditions. The landlord has filed for bankruptcy and the restaurant is closed. Work is underway to reopen under new management and new staff. There will definitely be positive news soon. The rest of the season after reopening was great. Thank you Irene, Daniel and team. We hope that after the planned renovation a super restaurant will be available again. Good luck for next winter.

Beautiful terrace, cheerful crew, varied self-service offerings. Unfortunately the opening times are very special... The restaurant closes 45 minutes before the last mountain ride. It's a shame because you can't enjoy the beautiful evening atmosphere.

So cool! The rabbit hutch is finally in new and professional hands! Irene and Daniel, who already successfully run the Sport restaurant in Bellwald, have made the impossible possible. With local support, they cleaned out the “stable” and created a friendly self-service restaurant! You can enjoy the sun again, eat and drink fine! It's worth a visit. 👍👏

I agree with all the negative reviews. We are locals in Bellwald, and unfortunately in the last two years only big disappointments. Today we went there with the children for a drink, and after 15 minutes of no one bothering us (chaos reigned) we left. Also because COVID regulations are non-existent. Disrespectful!! Do we want to talk about the terrace where the self-service restaurant once was? It's fine that the restaurant is closed (but can't we find someone who can reopen it?? The last management was Hollandese and it was a disaster), but why not put some tables for a picnic area?? I gave two stars... one for the view, and the other for the Chalet, everything else zero. I hope someone wakes up and changes this ugly reality of Bellwald.

Service seems disinterested and ungrateful. Absolutely not a welcoming atmosphere. In addition, no masks are worn and no checks are carried out at the entrance, not exactly a role model in the current situation.

I have to agree with many other reviews. The view would be great! Nothing works at all! We had reserved, but we had to “fight” for a table ourselves. Unfortunately, the weather was nice on January 1st, 2021 and accordingly there were a lot of guests on site. The chef suddenly refused to cook anything. A lady said that she had been waiting for a Rösti for two hours. It's a shame there's almost no competition up there, otherwise the store would have been closed for a long time! Better ski longer and eat in the valley or take a sandwich with you! Not recommended. BAG regulations are not adhered to. Really not recommended!

Service unstructured, endless waiting times, poor organization, Toilet facilities dirty and unreasonable, a shame for the beautifully located restaurant, Bellwald Tourism should react here, not just build new cable cars and think that's enough.

It just doesn't work! And it's been that way for 2 years now. Completely disorganized with forever long waiting times. You have to wait half an hour for drinks; on food 1.5 hours!!! It's an absurdity! The lower area wasn't even cleared. No more self-service. This is how you can destroy tourism in Bellwald. That there are no community requirements for such tenants. A testimony of poverty!

The food tastes good, but the staff is mercilessly understaffed and there is a lack of structure for service. We waited about 1 hour for 2 drinks and 2 hours for a rösti pan… the long wait ruined the whole stay!

The service is good, but also difficult... They hardly speak any German and you have to explain to them what a Kafi Ferig is. This is the downfall for the place... They won't survive with just the Dutch tourists.

Unfriendly service. We asked for a child seat but they didn't have any. I also asked if I could warm up food for the 10 month old baby and the lady said no. I find that in such a child-friendly place they should be equipped with both child seats and food heating for the little ones. It's a shame because the place is nice and the food is good too. But as already mentioned the service is not very friendly and for me it is essential that it is.

The outdoor terrace with a view of the mountains and the lake was beautiful, but the table was dirty, we told the waitress who rubbed it with the order sheet to clean it, we looked shocked and then, not being able to clean it, she said that it was greasy with food and left it like that. We covered it with paper but it was a bit disgusting. The waitress was friendly but the food was passable, in fact mine was very burnt. In my opinion they don't pay much attention to it because the customers are still there, given that the place is at the arrival point of the chairlift.

The upstairs restaurant is top and very nice service! The lower one is self-service and the prices are very OK, although the menu selection is not huge. It's a shame it's not declared anywhere where the meat comes from. Unfortunately, the two ** are for the disastrous sanitary facilities, there are no cleaning cloths, the toilet stinks and one of the toilets in the women's toilet has been out of use for over a week. A pity!
