Really unfriendly staff. They don't do takeout because it's too much work?!?!? I have no idea how they pack a schnitzel, but it must be really time-consuming...

Went to the Rest. Kreuz in Küttigen today for the z night. I can tell you: very good service, very fine food. For me again and worth 5 stars.

In dieser Region ist es eine wohltuende Oase neben all den "Pizza-Pasta-Kebab-Burger"Schnellimbissen echte, frisch zubereitete Schweizer Küche zu haben. Neben den klassischen Rennern gibt es wechselnde Tagesmenus. Die Schweinsbratwurst mit Zwiebelsauce ist wie immer ein Gedicht. Ist sie schon in normalen Zeiten ein währschaftes, tolles Mittagessen, hat die Qualität auch als Takeaway nicht gelitten. Eine üppige, schmacklich einwandfreie Qualität der Wurst mit einer herrlichen selbstgemachten Zwiebelsauce, begleitet von frischen, knackigen Pommes frites lassen uns beinahe vergessen, dass wir das Ganze nun in Kunststoffgeschir abseits essen müssen. Wer übrigens einen Hamburger als vollwertige Mahlzeit erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Da bleiben keine Hungergefühle übrig. Wir freuen uns, wenn dieses Restaurant endlich wieder seine Türen öffnen darf.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein Geheimtipp für richtige gute Bauernkost. Hier gibt es nichts aus dem Beutel: Die Würste selber hergestellt, die Rösti frisch und knusprig, das Sauerkraut, wie es sein muss. Ein Sauerkraut, das nicht gewisse körperlichen Winde verursacht, ist kein gutes Sauerkraut. Neben den geschmackvollen Blut-und Leberbwürsten ist auch hier die Bratwurst speziell zu empfehlen. Die Bratwurst, die nicht verkauft wird, wird im eigenen Betrieb zu Rauchwurst geräuchert; darauf freuen wir uns schon. Das Personal ist flink, mit viel Humor und was auffällt, es hat viele Stammgäste, die es sich gut gehen lassen. Die Preise sind moderat und die Weinauswahl ist ausgewogen. Ein gelungener verregneter Sonntag mit viel Sonne im Magen.

Typical country restaurant, large, bright and clean. Very friendly and accommodating. I ate wonderfully delicious tripe with tomato sauce there two weeks ago. If I'm nearby, I'll happily go there again.
