Restaurant La Palma in Muralto

Great place. Very close to the train station. From the room you have very nice view on the lake. Rooms are clean and cosy. SPA and Wellness area are super nice. All people working there are friendly and helpful. We were looking a great place to relax and we found it!

Fantastic hotel with beautiful view on the lake and mountains. The room was very comfortable, clean and large. The staff at the reception and restaurant was very professional yet very friendly. The pizzeria attached to the hotel was excellent and had a great atmosphere. We hope to be back soon!

Small but nice hotel is right by the lake

In the front office you are still in hibernation and have no perception of what customer experience means. A simple reservation request could not be answered even after the fourth (4!) email. We were pleased to be able to redeem a gift voucher and spend a few wonderful days in Ticino at a good address. Instead, we were plagued with bureaucracy and incomprehensible processes. Either voucher holders are viewed as 2nd class guests or no capacity is required. This is how it could have worked: Thank you for your inquiry, we would be happy to confirm two nights for the price of XY. When you present your voucher on site, the price changes by the amount of XYZ.

We had a really nice big clean family room. With a direct view of the beautiful Lake Maggiore. The food in the two restaurants directly in the hotel is sensational. The hotel is in a great location and when you're there, you definitely have to treat yourself to an in-house massage. For the children there is a beautifully located playground less than a 2 minute walk, right on the promenade.

Since the restaurant is in a hotel, it is open all the time, which is very convenient as many other restaurants are closed after the weekend. The food was very tasty. My husband said that he had the best tartare in Switzerland there. The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Highly Recommended.

Nice staff, excellent view towards the lake and comfortable rooms and beds. Exceptionally clean. Location is just right - walking distance from everything, but not in the heart of the noise and traffic. Breakfast is on the terrace facing the waterfront. Good choice of food. I can only recommend it for both the food and staying there. Not for luxury, but a very high quality, great service and comfortable hotel.

We spent 3 days in this hotel with an offer. The welcome is very good, the rooms are large and clean. Unfortunately, our room (superior double lake view) was not great. Indeed, the bedroom terrace being on the same terrace as the jacuzzi and sofa areas, we have had people sitting on our terrace area on several occasions. The corridor giving access to the jacuzzi, we could hear people passing by until late. It is also very unpleasant when you want a minimum of change of scenery in times of COVID, to hear a “guten tag” or a “guten abend” all day long in a hotel in Ticino where ITALIAN is spoken. . It’s a shame to put the well-being of Swiss German tourists before the rest. We took advantage of the hotel to enjoy the restaurant. Menu at 48.- starter, 1st, second and dessert (without drink) but be careful! It is not mentioned anywhere that it is a semi-gastro or Gastro. We were disappointed. Despite this, the dishes were good except the dessert. In summary, a decent hotel for a short stay, but I don't recommend the restaurant.

Rooms at the back are currently noisy because the railway is being expanded at night. We couldn't be offered a lake view room for the same price.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with a 3 month old baby. There was nothing missing for the baby, there was a changing mat, cot, diaper pail and even a baby bath in the room. We were able to put our cooling elements in the freezer overnight. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast buffet offers everything you need. The service lady at breakfast who has everything under control (dark hair and glasses) is extremely polite and does a great job. We would come again. The restaurant for dinner is also very tasty and in the evening the atmosphere on the terrace invites you to have a drink.

Hotel la palma au lac locarno is a lakeside hotel that will make you really happy in terms of its location and cleaning service opportunities. Hotel room io, organization disaster. A parking space was reserved when booking and we even asked over the phone whether the parking space would work. When we wanted to check in, no one knew anything about a parking space reservation. I would have preferred to leave straight away, but I was able to find a parking space in the city later. I will definitely never book here again!

Everything doesn't always have to be brand new if what's getting old is in good condition and clean. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. It was very clean and the service was polite and courteous. We didn't miss anything at breakfast. We'd love to come back.

Nice and hospitable café terrace

Frauen-Weekend mit einem wunderbaren Abendessen im La Palma auf der gedeckten Terrasse. Und das an einem Samstag-Abend ohne Reservation! Die Freude über den 4er Tisch (der spontan für uns zusammengeschoben wurde) war riesig. Die Qualität und Präsentation der Speisen und Getränke waren top und wir haben einen sehr, sehr schönen Abend geniessen können.

abbiamo deciso di recarci in questo ristorante visto il menù carino che offriva, l'ambiente è tipico da albergo con una grandissima sala ma ben sistemata / arredata. A livello di posteggi il lungolago di Locarno ne offre parecchi e in periodi come quelli invernali non si fa fatica a trovarne, la posizione direttamente sul lago poi è molto piacevole. Il servizio si è dimostrato molto competente e premuroso ma il top è senza dubbio il cibo, abbiamo mangiato veramente benissimo dall'antipasto al secondo e al dessert che merita senza dubbio una nota con lode!!! complimenti a tutti voi siete stati veramente bravi lo consiglio vivamente per una bella cenetta considerando anche l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Eigentlich haben wir das Restaurant schon im Hotel-Beschrieb erwähnt. Also hier nochmals kurz: Sehr aufmerksamer und perfekter Service. Die Angestellten sind sehr gut geschult und sprachgewandt (I / D / E ). Wir hatten als Hauptmenüs Lamm-Koteletten und Kalbsfilet mit verschiedenen originellen Zutaten. Das Fleisch war ausgezeichnet. Die Teller wunderschön und künstlerisch dekoriert. Die Weinkarte ist gut bestückt und hat für diese Klasse Hotel/Restaurant vernünftige Preise. Wer sich also mal nach Locarno verirrt (max. 10 Min. vom Bahnhof) sollte das La Palma au Lac ins Auge fassen; es lohnt sich.

Ruhig und doch zentral an der Promenade in Locarno-Muralto gelegen. Schöne Terrasse mit fantastischem Seeblick. Sehr aufmerksamer Service und superfeine weisse offene Merlot-Weine. Mediterrane Küche mit eigenem Stil

Wir konnten danach den ganzen Tag nichts mehr essen, die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und die Auswahl an Speisen gross. Besonders das Dessert-Buffet hat uns sehr gefallen.

La carte est excellente et renouvelée à chaque saison. Avons apprécié la cuisine raffinée proposée et les prix sont corrects.

Echt lecker! Guter Tessiner Wein. Gelungene Kreationen. Fein. Zahlbar. Wir hatten Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Wir haben das Vegan Menu genossen und war total begeistert :) Alles hat gepasst: Freundliche Bedienung, gute Küche, ideale Lage. Das Ambiente sehr angenehm.

Fantasievoll und doch nicht abgehoben wird hier das Essen serviert. Preis Leistung stimmt. Man merkt, dass das Küchenteam ihr Metier liebt. Die junge Küchenchefin kommt am Ende des Essens persönlich am Tisch vorbei. Auch der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und unaufgeregt Merci

Großes Frühstück und sonnige Terrasse. Halb Pension ist gut vorbereitet. Sachen sehr freundlich und gerne helfen.

Endlich hat die Saison wieder angefangen und wir gehen zum Brunch nach Locarno. Das Wetter stimmt. Direkt vor dem Hotel geparkt, auf der Terasse den Apero genossen während die Kinder in der kleinen Spielecke in der Lobby spielen. Besser kann es nicht los gehen! Aber doch... das Beste kam sogar zum Schluss: Dessertbüffet der Extraklasse, so dass sich der Nachbartisch das Rezept des Aprikosenkuchen geben liess. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit- Sonderwünsche wurden gern erledigt. Wir kommen wieder.. und wieder...und wieder.
