The employees were very rude and reacted very poorly to the request for an extra ingredient on the pizza. Also, the food is not Halal, the owner lied to us for years. Not recommendable.

Last Wednesday I went to this pizzeria for lunch. The pizza was freshly baked and it was so delicious that I will definitely go to this pizzeria again. The staff is very friendly and nice.

We've been going to the "Lachenbeizli" for a long time. The service is very friendly, the food is perfect. I've seen that Lachen restaurant has been getting bad reviews recently. In my opinion, these are not real because they are almost all from Dubai. It's hardly possible for them to rate the restaurant. So, don't let that put you off. A visit and a delicious meal there are always worth it.

The best (!!!) pizza in Switzerland for years, I wouldn't have expected it at these prices, friendly pizzaiolo and a rustic atmosphere. There was even a goodie for the children. Finally sharp knives again! The sound in the background was a little too loud but okay. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 6 stars!

Excellent pizzas at a fair price. There's no wood-burning stove, but you hardly notice it. The ambience inside is OK, but not great, and outside on the terrace it is cozy, but you can still hear the street noise. But overall worth a visit if you're in this area anyway. Tip: Enjoy takeaway and pizza on the nearby lakeshore - perfect.

Attention not halal! My family was a regular here for several years but from now on we will no longer set foot in this takeaway/restaurant. The pizzas would be good and generally well priced. However, we were lied to for years that the meat was halal. We asked many times and were always told it was halal. Every now and then there were minor problems, like when we took special cheese (buffalo mozzarella) to put on the pizza for allergy sufferers in the family. Most of the time it was easy to do this, but sometimes the boss wanted to charge an extra 5.- even though we had brought him the cheese. A few weeks ago, after doing a little more digging, we found out that the meat wasn't halal after all. There was no apology or anything else, just excuses such as “all Muslims eat here with me”, “it’s not pork” or “you don’t have to be so conservative”. None of this changes the fact that for years we were served non-Islamic slaughtered meat, even though he knew that we insisted on halal meat. Since then we have been there two more times and as a result have had vegetarian pizzas. Now we were there again and wanted to order pizzas: Pizza Diavola without meat but with mushrooms. It was said it cost 2.- more per ingredient. That was also new, it hadn't been like that before. I just said that we're just swapping one ingredient here and not adding anything to it, and besides, this isn't a problem with other pizzerias because they even allow additional ingredients for free. Plus, meat is more expensive, so it doesn't make sense. We finally said he should just cut out the mushrooms and it would be fine. The boss just then got very cheeky and said we had to go, he wasn't making us pizzas and we should go somewhere else and "eat kebabs". We definitely won't go to such liars, arrogant and cheeky people anymore - that way he'll lose a loyal customer base... It's bad luck!

This is not the best pizza in Thun, but the best pizza in Switzerland. I am proud to now call myself a regular customer. So glad to be there! ☺️

After a very windy walk along the Lachen Canal towards the Thun lido and back, we deserved dinner. As the name of the restaurant suggests, of course we ate pizza. As I already know, Pizza Salmone. Bad pizzas and dishonest service. We asked for tap water and we got served a jug, as expected. However, on the bill we got charged 26 chf for 5 bottles of mineral water that we were not served. When we protested the waiter laughed and all of a sudden pretended to not understand english. Scammers of the worst kind...

Even though the restaurant was closed, there was still coffee. Very nice people and good coffee. Absolutely to suggest.
