I don't often post reviews but they were intentionally ignoring us as they went to other tables. Regarding allergies they were not sure, I asked twice they confirmed that there was no gluten (answered with little sympathy) and finally came back and told me say that there was some in the sauce. Terrible food (frozen, store bought)

Very good place to rest and eat during a good day at the beach or a stroll by the lake. Beach not far away and nice, pleasantly shaded terrace. The menu is quite varied and you will find what you are looking for. Efficient and cordial service. The prices are normal in relation to the quality. Parking nearby.

During this heatwave, water is becoming scarce, but that is no reason to refuse a carafe of tap water to a group of 7 people who ordered aperitifs, wines, dishes, desserts, coffees and sparkling water for 400 francs and force him to take a bottle of still water for 11 francs!!! A shame. We won't go back there again, especially since the cuisine was very ordinary, without any favorites. TOURIST TRAP.

Great setting..nice staff, but poorly organized, too much waiting...and waiter Mr. Rachid unpleasant with customers and tells us 4 minutes of waiting max when we tell him that we've been waiting for 20 minutes..so we're liars.. and his colleague said sorry I thought your order was taken a long time ago

We drank a good Cappucino on the terrace with a lovely view of the lake. Nice!

For me the best restaurant in Neuchâtel and surrounding areas! Absolutely idyllic setting at the foot of the lake, warm and friendly atmosphere, excellent food! The restaurant is very clean and bright. The team welcomes you as at home, and treats you as if you were family! You can even walk by the lake after your meal, 10/10!

I love this place, In one week I went back 4 times. 2 dinners, an afternoon cocktail and a dinner. Working dinner and one as a couple, cocktail with a client and an evening with family. Very little wait, very well received. And excellent service. It feels good. Thank you very much, I'll come back..... Ambiance 3⭐️, for me there was a lack of music for the ambiance in the evening. Otherwise all good🤗

Never again, I almost choked on the shells of a poorly opened oyster. When we gave our opinion on the meal, the owner replied “go eat at home” Turkish level restaurant, not Swiss, c was deplorable

30 minutes for not being served and leaving, 2 times in a row and then 3rd wrong order. Staff unfortunately not very friendly

Well, here I was, I posted a review some time ago, wondering what it would be like in the midst of the boom. A DISASTER !!! easy 1h30 wait, and receive dry pasta, black burnt toast and fried perch fillets also overcooked 😡. Frankly, I wonder how anyone dares to serve dishes like this!!! Honestly a total disaster. Shameful for a restaurant. I put one star because you can't give zero. Beautiful and large terrace. But the service is meh. Review given after several visits recently where we felt too much each time, 15-20 minutes to be able to order a drink in the middle of the afternoon while the terrace was by far not crowded... To be welcomed ask how they would do in full boom. That said, if everyone would pitch in, the service would undoubtedly be better and the atmosphere as well. So far no opinion on the food.

Fondue !! Top sauces, but tough meat...not good!! For 250.- for 4 I thought I would enjoy myself at the restaurant... too bad!!!

The restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience, however, we encountered an issue during checkout where we were charged 30 CHF twice. We discovered this error the next day and contacted the restaurant. They asked us to come back, which involved a 30 minute round trip. We were hoping for compensation, but the owner responded to us in a dismissive manner, saying: "What do you want me to tell you?" It is important to note that based on their reaction, they believe the problem is with us, not the restaurant. Therefore, if you are planning to go there, we strongly advise you to be careful and take cash so as not to be charged twice.

Very nice place. Very good wild garlic fondue at Petit Robinson. At Robinson, my husband and I are fans of the lamb chops. A true delight.

We announced our place, two people for drinks, 28 minutes later, as I waved to the waiter, still no one. So we decided to go from the back and suddenly a waiter catches up with us to take our order… I don't recommend if you are in a hurry.

Really disappointing, we see that they have no need to build customer loyalty. The prices are overpriced, quality down since the previous year, we had reserved but we were placed where we did not want, they brought me a pizza that I had not ordered but no change in price even though it was worth less, a tiny plate of octopus, a glass of white wine for more than 6 francs... no, we won't go back there (I wanted to tell the boss, he doesn't care, he turned his back on me! ! )

Tonight dinner with family 5 people. Deplorable service... we ordered aperitifs, water, wine, starters, the meal... ordered a sparkling water and a bottle of rosé.. received still water and hot rosé.. we sent it back. The starters arrived, we didn't have our aperitifs... we sent the starters back. During the aperitif we asked to be served the starters, they were at room temperature (not put in the fridge) shrimp cocktail, carpaccio and lukewarm salads. we asked again for our water and the rosé (still hot) We had asked for bread, it arrived when we had finished and dried... We wait for our dish, we receive slates, from which one of my sons cut the meat and eats fries, ah it's not for you it's for another table... took back the slates served at the other table... our meal finally arrived, very good. but we told them that we were disappointed. with the service. ah a lot of people etc. we ask the boss, to Inform him that it was good but that he had to make an effort on the service.. ah but a lot of people, you ate, in short he doesn't want to hear anything.. and tells us again that he made 450 covers , so in short 5 less doesn't bother us... almost making fun of us. I also have a business and I cook very well. When I go to a restaurant I pay for a service and a moment of happiness without worrying. This evening I would have done better to cook at home, it would have cost me less. I won't go anymore but it doesn't matter he will still have 435 other customers...

Nice place, very large terrace. If crowded, slow service. Be careful, no Château La Pompe...! You definitely have to pay for the water! No bread and no chocolate with coffee.

Went there to take pizzas to go. Best pizzas around, for sure. A little pricy, but good value. Staff was kind let us sit and enjoy a complimentary drink while waiting. Even if was a busy Saturday we had to wait only 20 min.

Very nice home. All the staff greeted us as they passed by no waiting even though we arrived early 11:15am. Good meal (fillet of filet, fries). Very happy.

To be honest with you, I don't often leave reviews, however this place had a particularly negative impact on me. -Very average hygiene - Frozen fries - Salad not fresh - Carafe of water refused!!! - Duchess apple found in Bresse - Unfriendly employees The only strong point is the view of the lake and you still need to be able to see it through the marks on the windows…

- FROZEN FRIES. - Salad not fresh. - DUCHESS APPLE frozen in caclon (bressane fondue). - very average hygiene. - refusal of a carafe of water. - unpleasant employees. - expired blackcurrant and the employee didn't care.

It's been so long since I've been back... Everything has changed. It's a beautiful place, a very large, well-kept terrace. I had a lot of fun stopping there to have a drink. On the other hand, take care of the contact and everything will be perfect :-)

A bit shocked at the behavior of the staff, they don't care about customer satisfaction. 3 errors in the order for 2 people and dessert was still frozen, apparently frozen food from Migros, the answer to this was: “That's the way it is here, you can wait a little until it thaws”. There is no excuse, it will continue to be discussed for a long time. It's also completely overpriced for store-bought frozen food. We strongly advise against eating, just recommend having a drink and enjoying the beautiful view!

A beautiful view and the food is also delicious, unfortunately that was it. The service is completely unmotivated, incompetent and unfriendly (now for the second year in a row), and was the last time we were here.

Bitter coffee really not good ;(

Rather than refilling an espresso to replace the coffee I didn't order, a waiter and then a boss preferred to physically jostle me while speaking informally to me. Deplorable welcome and services

Very good meats for Chinese, attentive service but the final impression is ultimately quite average (restaurant setting on the 1st floor quite cold), nothing exceptional. Easy parking.

Waited 20 minutes before the waiter even took any notice of our presence... After that, he had quite a stroppy tone while taking our simple order of two ice-creams (one ice-cream with two boules, one milkshake with two flavours in it). At no given time was anything said about any price differences because of our order or choices. Total shock when the order arrived with a tab corresponding to double the regular price for the milkshake!!! Choice was given between taking the merchandise at the steep prices, or watching them throw the food away... Not going to be going back here anytime soon...

We had a great time. Shaded terrace on the banks of Lake Neuchâtel, clean and quiet. Very warm welcome from the servers. We had the bressanne, the meat was fresh and excellent. We will come back with pleasure.

This restaurant has changed owners, super welcoming before, it wasn't great for a drink, waiting 20 minutes to be served, now it's great, you arrive and they come to take the order, that's a change, well done to the new owner and his team 👍

WORLDOUS... A place that could be beautiful but... the staff is obviously incompetent, smug and arrogant in the way they talk to you and unpleasant most of the time. In short, the service is dismal, with my order I asked for some water for my little dog and the annoyed waiter simply told me that he didn't have time and that he had other things to do. The place is dirty and poorly maintained, the quality of the food is VERY questionable and quite expensive, you have to pay for water in a jug, the owner, a man who should work anywhere except in a restaurant, is unfriendly with the face of a convict. In short, the restaurant and the staff are like the owner, disreputable! Despite the location, go your way and stop next door at the unpretentious and much friendlier "Petit Chalet". PS I don't understand how it's possible to find favorable reviews for this place, nothing is positive, either it's friends of theirs who published them, or people who have no taste are satisfied with little or at least time of the previous owners.

waited more than 1 hour for salad. service staff is friendly, but overall cannot deliver appropriate service, due to lack of organization. kitchen ok, but overall experience is poor. our children fell asleep before dinner was served. boss was sitting at table enjoying his meal, but not helping his staff and giving timely service to clients. I cannot recommend this place.

Nice staff but horrible boss. Impossible to get a carafe of water despite a large order. In addition to wine and sparkling water, you have to take a bottle of still water charged at CHF 11.00. Scandalous!!! A suggestion for dessert: lemon tart if you need Kukident! Restaurant to avoid despite the location at the water's edge.

Very nice terrace right on the lake. Staff is very friendly and the food came very quickly and was very good! Prices are absolutely fine. Cleanliness of the toilets leaves a lot to be desired!

Magnificent setting, but too close between the tables, it feels a bit like a canteen....

The food (pizza) was okay, but the service (especially a middle-aged gentleman) and the concept of the terrace layout, ordering (food ordered before 6 p.m. refused) and payment system (all drinks were charged straight away, but card payments are only possible from 20CHF). ) leaves much to be desired. In the late afternoon, 3/4 of the terrace was set up for dinner, there were only a few reservation signs, the restaurant was almost empty, there was no clear demarcation between aperitif and dinner tables and yet we were pointed out in an extremely unprofessional manner that we are not allowed to sit at the table because not everyone in our group is eating. View of the lake was very nice.

Toilets were dirty, service was friendly but inflexible: we hadn't made a reservation and were only given a place directly in the sun. After asking again, they said everything was reserved. However, there were several tables on the terrace without a reservation sign.

Very nice location, in the forest and on the lakeside with numerous parking spaces. Not very warm welcome and decent food but nothing more. Avoid going there on the weekend otherwise very long waiting time. Price a little expensive for the quantity supplied.

What can I say, we arrived at 8:15 p.m. Only served at 9:45 p.m. and waited over 45 minutes to get our drinks. Please note that our initial order was never served. There were 4 of us and we had different dishes, absolutely nothing good except the fries. To start with the Bressane Fondue, the chicken is simply inedible and the tartare tastes too pronounced like eggs... the perch fillets are much too fatty. But pleasant waitress, the only reason for my star.

Very very disappointed, it really wasn't good.. Perch fillets soaked in oil and lots of bones with 3 fries on the plate. It was really not good and on top of that, the prices are excessively expensive compared to the quality of the products. We won't come back again.
