The food was very delicious and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. It’s a great place to celebrate birthdays or just have a lovely dinner amongst friends and definitely amongst the best Mexican food there is in Geneva.

Extremely disappointed, I took the trouble to book a week in advance because I have the Passport Gourmand and it was for my other half's birthday. Unfortunately we got a table in the middle of a draft and were completely neglected by the waiters. Summary: I spent 24 hours sick, divided between fevers and visits to the toilet. If the establishment chooses to treat discounted guests differently, then it should stop offering this option. That would be more honest for everyone.

Fantastic experience and super nice people! We waited just a tad too long for the food to come but it was full, it's ok. Everything else was perfect, the portions are huge, mind that if you order more than one thing :) The best thing is that I actually tasted somee peculiar flavours which set it aside from the usual, the mezcal shot with orange slices, cinnamon and that spicy mix was the cherry on top

Flavor wise, the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the enfrijoladas de pollo. While it was slightly cold, this dish was heavenly 🙌🏼 It’s a busy restaurant with only a few servers, so it is understandable. We also tried the quesadillas de cochinita, enchiladas and the chimichanga, all of them were 10/10. I will definitely come back. As for the service, very helpful and friendly staff. I had an issue with booking a table online, so I went in person the day before. Even though the restaurant wasn’t open by the time I went, they let me in and sorted everything out. Thank you ❤️

I felt at home, happy to visit Le Chat Rouge, the food was delicious, I enjoyed every moment and every bite, I felt like I had traveled to Mexico. I loved the atmosphere, the bright colors, the music, the joy and the service, the treatment was very friendly and the entire team always had a nice smile, very professional and at the same time very warm. As I already said, the food was really delicious! I loved the Golden Tacos! The quesadillas and the Chimichanga. All the food for me was spectacular. I hope to return soon to try more dishes. My recent visit to Le Chat Rouge was a mixed experience that I wanted to share. From the moment I entered, I was intrigued by the restaurant's themed decor, with colorful religious elements and symbolic figures. Although this atmosphere didn't match my idea of ​​a Mexican atmosphere, it added a distinctive touch to the place. The service was, without a doubt, the highlight of my dinner. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the evening, which greatly enhanced my experience. However, I have to be honest about the food. The presentation of the dishes was not as attractive as I expected, and the temperature was rather cold, which negatively affected my enjoyment of the food. I believe there is room for improvement in this regard to ensure a more satisfying dining experience in the future. Despite this, I want to express my gratitude for the hospitality of the staff and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. I am willing to give Le Chat Rouge another chance, in the hope that they can improve on aspects such as presentation and temperature of the food to offer an even more exceptional experience.

Really nice place! They are very welcoming and the food is delicious. I was looking for some authentic Mexican food and I found it. La crema de elote is very nice and the taquitos dorados as well. I also had a Michelada Clasica and it was like in Mexico!

Extraordinary welcome. Staff take great care in explaining the dishes. We only go there once a year and we are welcomed like kings. We ask for the same table and the staff manages to accommodate everyone. The food is exceptional and in quantity. (# ideal for a restaurant. Quality + quantity) If too much, no problem, they make us a takeaway package for the leftovers. No mess. (#best eco-friendly in Geneva). Margherita's jumbo is a must for an unforgettable evening.
