We went there this afternoon. Very nice terrace! Very close to tram and traffic. This problem for me: he cooks almost EVERYTHING with peanut oil!!! Meats, fries etc.... We are in Switzerland! It is important to promote what grows on our land! Such as rapeseed or sunflower oil. I find it distressing for me, who is allergic to peanuts, to not be able to eat anything for a meal except a glass salad with oil and vinegar to make my sauce. It's a shame! Many restaurants pay attention to people allergic to peanuts and therefore favor sunflower or rapeseed frying oil! Much better and above all it's local! The two men serving, very soft and not very smiling! The waitress, very nice.

Welcomed a bit like animals. They ask us what we want to drink even though we clearly said we wanted to wait. And one of the waiters even criticized us in Arabic when we left. First time we have been treated so badly in this restaurant. I really hope it will be the last.

Very pleasant restaurant in the center of Chêne Bourg, opposite a stop for trams 12 and 17. A daily special with 3 different dishes at 21 francs. Large à la carte choice with normal prices for Geneva. A covered restaurant veranda with possibility of smoking. The only real negative point is really noisy because it is poorly soundproofed. To recommend. Good service with smiling staff.

Very good morel fondue for 29.- 3.- extra for potatoes. Fast service. Be careful, however, with the slightly limited dose of fondue for good eaters. Half and half fondue 23.-

New visit, 13 August 2022 — went dining here this time, no sign of the rude waiter, in fact this time the waiter was perfect; great food, had a great time. Old style restaurant like we used to have in the old days with bread and salad automatically comes Ming with every plate, like there aren’t many left nowadays… Anyway, recommended! 👍 Rude waiter — terrasse is almost empty, I sit at a 4 seat table, he asks me to move to a table for two. His friend walks in, sits at the same table, they high-five, nothing is said about sitting at a two-seat table. I have a coffee, I ask to pay by card, he says that he can’t take a card for under ten Francs. I tell him I only have card and no cash, he says ok, but next time I should remember. I tell him there will be no next time, he says the “patron” will make sure of that! Whatever that means… Too bad, I used to think of this place as a charming one.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years. This restaurant has changed owners several times but whoever owns it today has given it a good reputation. Very good value for money dish. I recommend the entrecôte which is excellent and very tender. Indeed, as read in other reviews, the boss could be more friendly, especially a hello after 30 years of dating...

Nice atmosphere until the waiter charged 10fr for a drink at 8fr70 because the cards only pass from 10fr ok but it would be good to inform the customer 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I had cash otherwise😕. Too bad I think this lack of respect is due to the fact that I had given a tip just before with the card and unfortunately the waiter took it easy.

I have seen everything the world but only here have I found a new home with true and genuine flavors that fill my belly and heart!!!

Above all, avoid shrimp cocktail in water, spaghetti with arrabiata: ketchup and Tabasco, spaghetti with morels: half ice, a hint of cream, a few morels, all tasteless!!!!
