We returned there after years, without great expectations... We were pleasantly surprised ! The restaurant was taken over at the beginning of the year, we had the Neuchâtel hunting menu 🤩 A delight! I recommend, to rediscover! At the entrance I was a little put off by all the signs of what is prohibited or what they don't do... Being greeted by prohibition posters is never very inviting 😅 But otherwise the restaurant is very warm and the service friendly!

Quite mixed: small glass of sparkling water ultimately paid 3.80, because the waiter made a mistake and served 3dl, charged 1x2dl + 1x 1dl.... Response to my remark: sorry.... In the amarena cup we had to look for the cherries and did not find the amarena aroma.

Well eaten but in terms of presentation it leaves much to be desired! The fries were served on the side! There was a severe lack of vegetables for my taste otherwise the food was good! The staff were friendly but perhaps the waitress was not used to working in the restaurant business.

Because I was in a hurry, I only ate one sandwich they made, which was very delicious.

After leaving Les Brenets... on foot... a majestic hike, breathtaking landscapes... how good this fondue was... in the restaurant. Chantal the welcoming smiling owner and Lionel a cook full of humor...don't talk to him about stars...he simply does his job to please his customers...see their eyes sparkle with happiness in front of this good cuisine. Thank you both...a great moment shared with friends.

We came from Normandy to taste a fondue in Switzerland at Chantal and Lyonel. The setting, the cuisine and the service are top notch.

I hadn't been back there for years but since there was a new boss I went in to eat a big dessert. The famous swan of Doubs. In fifty years of walking at Roches de Mauron I haven't eaten it often but this time I really wanted it and I loved it. Yum :-) I am looking forward to the beautiful days to come to eat one of the many ice creams from the enormous ice cream menu. See you soon

There are new and friendly owners since January 4, 2023. We just had a very good meal there, the service is perfect and the atmosphere is nice. We will definitely come back.

Chicken supreme replace with two small chicken escalopes forest sauce button mushrooms no good on the other hand still the same price it's pitiful it's a steal never again before it was very good

Beautiful place but be careful, accessible by a narrow road that is very difficult to cross. Small parking lot. Restaurant small walk so be careful with wheelchairs. Large selection of ice creams. I just received a message from the restaurant owner who told me they have a ramp for wheelchairs. So problem solved.

Today the restaurant was closed, the geographical location is magical, I went up from the Chatelo dam on the French side, about 2 hours of walking, then came back down in a small loop. Nice route.

Typical mountain restaurant of the Jura mountains. Ham is king, rösti princes as well as the choice of wines from the canton of Neuchâtel. Magnificent view of the lake and the (maligned) Châtelot dam. Warm and smiling welcome, despite the few vinegar pisses read here below. Huge choice of industrial ice cream. Good value for money

Great place! Very welcoming service despite they were busy they were super attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and all on a very good price level! The beautiful view fulfilled the visit.

Magnificent restaurant, everything is renovated and the decor is great. We eat really well there, the owner, his wife and the sommelier are really very nice, we feel comfortable there like in a large chalet. Every 2nd Sunday of the month, there is also music. Month of November, holidays... Well deserved for all the staff . And for desserts, a huge choice of ice creams, cuts... I highly recommend it. The boss serves bone-in ham cooked in dough on Saturdays and Sundays. It's best to reserve it.

Icy and unfriendly welcome. The boss looks down on you and has no education or respect for her customers. In addition, she screams to be heard and does not respect the Covid safety barriers, no wearing a mask and moreover positions us above. We will not return and we absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Better to have a picnic in the forest above than to go to their house.

Ultra friendly welcome and service. Good dishes, a little lack of diversity and a little less cream... A plus. Incredible dessert and nice setting (we thought better). But above the rest, and the walk to get there is worth it!

After finding a geocache nearby, we decided to have lunch here. As it turned out, that was a very good choice. We ate very well, were served friendly and felt completely at home. The ice cream menu is a sensation and the swan is an absolutely worthwhile specialty. Even though we rarely give 5 stars, we are very happy to do so here. Thank you for the hospitality.

No words to explain the horror of this place from the welcome to the service to the food, a shame for such a pretty restaurant

Since the beginning of January, owners Bruno and his wife Mya have taken over the reins of the restaurant. They renovated it in a country, rustic and warm style. The menu has been revised and the regional specialties as well as their famous morel crusts are excellent, we really enjoyed it and can only recommend them. On Saturdays and Sundays they serve the famous ham in a crust. Every second Sunday of the month the folk group “mir drüüü” gives a rural atmosphere to the place. We will come back with pleasure

Friendly welcome with handshakes with large man. Probably a owner. No english menus but I managed to order a beef with pepper(ish) sauce. Medium stake came totally Well done. We have a group of 9 and three stakes were OD. Very big mistake with the quality beef they sell. (and Very expensive) We switched plates (some of the People in our group OD steak was fine).. We got Very tasty amuse buche at the beginning and the house own beer was Very tasty. Theres a big icecream menu like previous years. I really wanted to give five stars. I think this place deserves it. It was a ( - one star) mistake they made and as a beef restaurant you cant serve overdone steaks. (it was pre cutted so would have been easy to check in kitchen)

There is a magnificent view from the playground, a pretty terrace and a superb dessert menu with such a choice that it takes 15 minutes to make your choice!

We received a friendly welcome when we visited for a moment of relaxation on the terrace at the beginning of November 18. The boss did not hesitate to have tablecloths laid out. We had a pleasant time there and had very pleasant contact. We will return there to eat.
