We arrived at this beautiful house for the first time on Friday at 3 p.m. Lively, the menu is just right, the waiter is passionate and the decor is simply amazing. Simply brilliant, bravo

A nice restaurant and the staff is also friendly but today at 2:30 p.m. pretty listless. When the waiter asked what we wanted to drink, we ordered 2 cappuccinos and wanted to order a dessert... the waiter was incredulous about what dessert they wanted.. my answer yes, that's what we want. The waiter was ok... he then simply brought the ice cream menu... it couldn't be easier, even though the restaurant has a wide selection of desserts. was the staff too comfortable?

Four of us had dinner there yesterday Sunday. As soon as we entered we were amazed by the wonderful ambience. The nice ladies from the service service gave us friendly service and advice. The food was great. We had meat, vegetarian and vegan. Everything was super delicious. Thank you very much for the great experience!

We were definitely at the Löwengarten 5 times or more last year because we really liked the food, the atmosphere and the very attentive and friendly team every time. We will have fond memories of the festival we celebrated there!

Personally, I have been to the Lion Garden several times. The stylish ambience as well as the guest-oriented treatment is very good. In terms of price, the Löwengarten is in the upper segment and it is crucial to offer the customer a “customer experience”. The food is just right in terms of portion. The burgers are usually very good. It would be very useful to ask in advance how the meat should be fried. I got a burger that was barely medium rare without the guest being asked how it should be. Afterwards I returned the whole thing and it was still medium. I objected to that. In the discussion it was said that as a guest I should say what I would like. Nice, but the service idea should be “what would you like as a guest?” It matters less whether the chef thinks a dish is good. It matters how the guest assesses it. A restaurant is successful when the guests think it's great, not when you think you're great. Simply look at the guest at eye level and then make a great gesture (in this case not enough) for the recommendation. That's what I hope for and then the "shop" runs like clockwork.

Yes, the ambience is pleasant and the service is also good, but I have to make some deductions when it comes to the cuisine. Beautifully presented to the eye, but there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of spiciness. I had to use the salt and pepper several times, which is otherwise only very rarely necessary, and the Bearnaise sauce was heavy on my stomach for half the night. The wine/beer pairing was an original idea, but there are so many small specialty beer brewers in Switzerland, so why does it only have to be Belgian beers? In addition, the underground parking fee should be free for guests. A pity. 😏

We were astonished at the perfect and unique combination of flavors which the dishes provided. A favorite at the table was the mushroom ravioli and the pumpkin cream soup, all delicately balanced. The burger was incredibly juicy and filling. Very great.

I had lunch on 2 days. The food was always very good. The service was very good, but I don't like tomatoes. I announced this twice in advance. Unfortunately, my wish was not fulfilled. But it wasn't bad, it can happen. We were eating on the terrace. Since the main street is right next to it, it was very loud - unfortunately. But otherwise very nicely furnished and you felt comfortable. The service also contributed a lot.

This always results in a longer waiting time, which can, however, be bridged with a cold beer and good conversation. The ambience invites you to linger, even if you just want to drink something. We had our wedding dinner with 16 people in the vaulted cellar. It was a wonderful evening - everything was perfect from the preparations, menu suggestions, help with flower decorations etc., staff and food. Very great atmosphere in this wine cellar, staff was extremely warm and hospitable, food was also great. I would happily recommend it.

A restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was exquisite. The menu is small and clear, which is a clear sign of very good cuisine. I would like to mention wild garlic soup as an example. Many chefs believe that they have to add wild garlic to all dishes in spring because it is in season. I find that terrible and would rather choose something else. This wild garlic soup, on the other hand, was dedicated exclusively to wild garlic and was masterfully crafted. It was an absolute delight for me and the highlight of this meal. And that as a starter. The rest of the food was also on the same Nievea. It was a wonderful experience for my wife and I.

We had the winter caprese as a starter and schnitzel and burgers with a small portion of fries as a main course, although fries could be ordered later to prevent food waste - which is great and we also used them - they were nice and hot. Wine was recommended to us, which went great with the food. At the end we had dessert from Mövenpick in an optimal size. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We were guests in the Löwengarten for the first time and were very surprised at how we were welcomed! Since my wife has walking difficulties, we were greeted very friendly at the entrance and the door was opened! The entire staff was very friendly and attentive during our stay! Drink came without carbonation. After complaining, exactly the same thing happened again. We then drank it without saying anything again because it was too stupid for us. Restarant must have laughed out loud like “haha, they drank it”. Well, jokes on you, we then gave the menu back and didn't eat anything. The prices were very steep anyway, so it was easy. A clear NEVER AGAIN!

We had dinner with friends in the spring. We are all “experienced” restaurant visitors and were very happy overall! I would like to finally go there again, it is something special for me because the cooking is done with love and time. Don't expect the usual pre-cooked and regenerated food. Take your time and give it to the kitchen and have a great evening. I had an excellent, tender, long-cooked, juicy mirror with an excellent risotto, which you have to look for yourself in Ticino. I love this place. We have eaten at the Löwengarten many times and have never been disappointed. The meat is always cooked to perfection and the dishes are incredibly tasty. First test of the new restaurant in Rorschach. Very nice atmosphere and friendly, courteous staff. Very pleasant climate with suitable indoor temperature. The menu is surprisingly reduced, but certainly covers most wishes. There is still some potential here. A little more variations could end up on the menu in the future. The waiting time for the food was a bit too long for a Wednesday evening, in my personal opinion. The burgers and fries made up for it with a very fine taste. The plates were tempered, the burgers could have been a little hotter. Ketchup was offered with the fries. A special “Löwengarten” sauce or different types of dip would be a nice addition here. Overall, the Löwengarten has the potential to become a popular address in Rorschach for family evenings, events or festivities. We will definitely come back and recommend a visit.
