Restaurant Mobilcity in Bern

No, this is not a space picture of Uranus. This is the "food" we ate and the brown sauce again :( These were supposed to be Mexican beans with meat, but as a Mexican I just had a culture shock, I looked at the meat, he looked back, I even tried to chat but he didn't even answer me. This food should be illegal, it has more cetamine and salt in it than the cocaine from Mexico (I believe the name Mexican beans comes from there) As a Christian, I said that I will convert to Islam and fast during Ramadan so that I cannot eat this food.

Unfortunately, my visit to MobilCity Restaurant AG was a disappointing experience. The food had an unpleasant dishwashing liquid aroma that ruined the appetite. The sauce also contained mysterious and unsavory substances that I could not identify and that caused me great concern. Not only did the food leave something to be desired, but the staff was also unfriendly and unhelpful. Instead of addressing our concerns, they seemed annoyed and uninterested, which contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere. This company could be described as a so-called "juice shop" or even a "mafia". For 18.50 CHF you can get a BigMac meal with fries, a McFlurry Oreo and even the toy from the Happy Meal at McDonald's AG. Very frustrated.

Visually, the restaurant is very nice, but appearances are deceptive, as our bosses tend to pay a lot to eat there. As a course participant, I am very disappointed. The sauces and soups either taste bland or are totally over salted. There have been days when course participants were only given 5 croquettes and a very strange piece of chicken breast. Conclusion for the price quite disappointed as there could be good menus for this money... Update March 7, 2024 The waitress still doesn't know how to be hospitable, and the food is still a test of courage. Every other day there is some kind of rice dish that is not nearly edible. That meat is a real test of courage, they probably mainly use cheap meat from abroad. But stand for environmentally friendly cooking. I would never volunteer to eat there in my life, but since we have a course we have to. I would be in favor of something changing immediately.... The hospitality also leaves something to be desired, if you order a sauce or something like that you are usually not taken seriously and you don't get anything until you say it the third time

Very monotonous bad food... Don't feel like charred potatoes Update 4.3.24 For the 3rd time in 2 weeks there was rice with chicken which is still not edible, the sauce for the chicken was extremely hot and most of the people at the table only ate rice or salad. When you're eating, the salad dishes are simply cleared away, even though you would have liked to have had a bit of salad. The menu for 18.-- which our learning companies have to pay is a disgrace. In every other restaurant in the country you can easily get a smaller, delicious schnitzel with french fries and a salad for this money.

If you want Ranzewe after eating and have diarrhea then go eat here the food is unbearable after the chicken you immediately have a stomach ache and the soups are also an imposition the rice was too dry like the desert and didn't even have any taste not salted no spices I think it's an impertinence to eat such food and the company still has to pay for the food. It's not normal to serve such food, the best are the ham croissants and the normal croissants!

In the ÜK course we were served half raw chicken as if we were animals. Not recommended, better stay away from this restaurant. Risk of food poisoning high.

The food is really unbearable. The rice was probably cooked in dish soap and the sauce today tasted like gingerbread. I find it a disgrace that our training companies also have to pay for this. Actually, we as customers should receive compensation for something like this. The new staff is very nice, but there are some people there who have probably never learned hospitality.

Bad food. Service and ambience are OK.

To eat the rice you need an angle grinder. The chicken is often raw and cold and gives a lot of crap. The staff is often unfriendly. And the portions are too small e.g. 4 chipolata and a few noodles

The chicken meat was still almost raw! The next day we had gastrointestinal problems! The drinking cups smell like an aquarium. The portions are sometimes very small.

Croissant was cold, not fresh and for 5 too overpriced for the apprentices rip off.

The restaurant is more of a self-service canteen, but can also have limited order-based service and custom menu options.

The rice was probably cooked with detergent and the chicken was fried in a toy fryer. Because the food was undercooked and oversalted and the sauces had no taste. The portions were way too small and the price was way too high and the staff was very slow and unfriendly but looked good.

Unfortunately the food tasted like washing up liquid... :( that bothers me

I've probably been to the course opposite the Mobilcity Restaurant 3-4 times now, the course was always great but the food at lunch was usually very poor! You only get half of the menu plan (no vegetables, etc.), so it always tastes the same, so it tastes like nothing, sometimes too little and, above all, not cooked properly or too cooked! We are all aware that this is a canteen and not a 5 star restaurant, but I think a little more effort in preparing the food would definitely improve the image of the canteen. After all, our trainers don't pay for lunch at a relatively high price for nothing.

A dessert would be the least you can expect, the food is prepared without any love and because there is nothing else I have to eat it, the sandwich is also way too expensive and the parking spaces anyway.

Portions are far too small and the taste is not great for this price.

I have courses here and the food isn't really tasty, sometimes it's not what you expect, I think it's a shame, I hope it gets better.

The food is the last. I have regular courses here and a colleague had a beetle in the salad and I had a metal shaving of steel wool in the food. I don't know who the chef is there but he should be fired

I've been there in the UK for 5 years now. The food got worse from time to time!!!! EVERY DAY there is brown sauce and pasta or rice. If that doesn't change immediately I will come to the apprenticeship office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's outrageous how much the teaching company has to pay for food and what is delivered afterwards.

I'm just glad I never have to eat this disgusting food again. Really the lowest level of quality.

We had ÜK there and the food was really not good... The combinations that were available were puzzling and if the menu said something about vegetables, you knew in advance that there were no vegetables. The only positive thing that made this “restaurant” deserve a star was the friendly gentleman at the checkout. The croissants for lunch were always good and the coffee wasn't bad either. For “breakfast” there was cake, which was always good. The deficiencies mentioned above and the single star only apply to lunch. Update on June 1st: The kitchen has been cleaned and I think the chef was on vacation. The food isn't bad anymore and if you tell the boss that you want vegetables, you get a bowl.

Price/performance is great and varied at the same time.

Unfortunately the food isn't that tasty, I don't like the sauce, but I have to say that some of the staff are friendly!

I often attend courses there...I've never had such a bad meal!! You can still just eat the salad...I don't think the chef tries the food himself! an imposition! Some of the staff are very unfriendly and chase you out of the restaurant after you've eaten. The staff simply clears away your plates and stuff while you're eating. I would never go out to eat there voluntarily if I didn't have a course!

The food is really inedible. It's almost a compulsion to eat the food - there's no trace of gender. It has no taste and some of the meat is undercooked. Please change that and I'll be happy to come back to the restaurant.

Never had such a bad meal! It's neutral in taste and otherwise not worth much, I would have spent the money better🤢

The food is usually not that tasty and the kitchen staff probably never tries their own dishes. Always the same sauces. And the only really good dish (chilli) has never been seen for about 2 years. Service brutally unfriendly.

My workplace is nearby and I eat there regularly, it's very tasty and has a good selection. The prices are reasonable and the quantity too, always happy to do so.

Hospitality is not “friendly” as described. I ordered mayonnaise today. Unfortunately this order was not taken seriously by the staff and I did not receive any additional sauce. Therefore, the restaurant description does not correspond to reality. Very unfortunate

Best service and the food is top

Modernly equipped training rooms and courses. Large amount of space. The in-house canteen provides quick and tasty meals. Easily accessible by public bus from Bern Wankdorf. Visitor parking spaces on site are only available to a limited extent and are subject to a charge.

The staff is really very nice! But the food... probably more of an imposition. We were there as a group for 3 days. In one day only a cordon bleu was distributed without anything! There wasn't enough food for the entire group and on the first day there was meat with a disgusting tomato sauce... the menu always said that there would be vegetables, but that never happened. Plus mostly industrial mush-potato-something.
