Of course the service can take a little time, but it is done in a good mood and we can understand that the restaurant is full. The wait for me is as high as the succulence of the dishes. On the recommendation of our host, Otto Ruppen from Blackrock in Stalden, where we were staying, we went to the Moosalp Restaurant for dinner. The drive over the serpentines and through the small Valais towns was definitely worth the experience. The atmosphere is very inviting, the staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding. Just reading the menu promises a taste experience that will definitely be delivered. We were thoroughly impressed and would be happy to come back when we visit Valais.

Good but small table, not much room to eat and awkward service

Outstanding! Best slope-side restaurant ever! Super friendly, even when busy, and excellent food. They have something for everybody: the hungry skier, the thirsty hiker or the culinary snob. We keep coming back to celebrate birthdays every year.

Good mountain restaurant. Careful and tasty cuisine. Accessible by road or by ski during the winter. Decor in chalet style. Tables a little tight.

It was a hair raising experience to drive up thru Torbel to MooseAlp. Food was wonderful as much as the mountain view. In 2015

Magnificent setting, excellent cuisine! but.. we were not all served at the same time... by the time we received the duchess potatoes and other accompaniments the meat was cold! one person was served when the others had already started their dish while they had already waited for the accompaniments. really disappointing for a cuisine that boasts recognition.. the service and the coffee are not worthy of the cuisine or the high price of the place.. what a pity

Well, we went to the restaurant in question today for a cream cake, but it never happened. A few would-be Neuzermatters were already waiting outside and appraising us (a family with 4 children and a baby stroller). You can't expect guests to wait outside in cold weather, so we went in and were dealt with in a very unfriendly manner by a service employee. It doesn't work like that here. You should wait outside. Well, that's what we did, in the Dorbia restaurant, where we as a family were able to enjoy an excellent cream slice and apple strudel and were given a very warm welcome. Dorbia would love to go back, but I can avoid the Snopparadies Moosalpe.

Great restaurant with top service. The food was delicious, we had Rösti with egg and cheese and Rösti with Läberli, mmm 😋. I can only recommend both.

After a hike we were on the restaurant terrace and treated ourselves to a cream slice. Best cream slices ever! We were definitely not there for the last time.

Excellent food in an absolutely beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. Very attentive and extremely friendly staff. The rooms are extremely beautiful and designed with a lot of love. And there are the cutest cream slices. We'll come again and again and again :-)

Once again a wonderful visit to Moosalp. The vegetarian game platter was not only beautiful to look at but also super tasty. The vegi burger was also very delicious. The cream slices are world class as always. We always enjoy coming back. 🤩

The menu varies greatly, so there is something for every taste and every budget. The young staff is fresh, but can also be a bit cheeky. Can have even more intense herbal notes.

Nice service and reasonable price/performance ratio. Food was good for a hut, but could have been better coordinated.

We stopped in there for a special class cream slice and it was really awesome! Not to be compared with the “normal” things. Airy cream, crispy puff pastry and no sticky sugar layer. The coupe was also very good. The service was quick and funny, we were on the large terrace. The restaurant is closed in the evening.

It was on the occasion of my birthday that I was introduced to this place. Quaint and charming restaurant. Fine, even gourmet cuisine, very attentive staff and boss. well done, here is a restaurateur who we can be proud of for Swiss tourism 🇨🇭 because this is not always the case

We are in Bürchen the entire summer season. Have been to your place a few times. Unfortunately, last time the very fine cream slices were served very narrow!! Make it nice and wide again, please!! Otherwise it was/is always very nice with you. Despite the great stress, the staff remains very friendly and is very well organized!!! We'd love to come back.

The overall package that is offered here is absolutely above average. The food is very tasty across the board and the ingredients - as far as I can tell - are very high quality and regional. There are many unusual dishes (or interpretations of them) and everything immediately feels very upscale. This is also reflected in the prices, but I find them absolutely appropriate for the quality offered.

A big compliment to the excellent cuisine, the cooking here is done with love and passion. From the starter to the dessert, everything is a delight. The service team is very attentive and extremely friendly. You feel very comfortable here as a guest. I can only recommend it.

Delicious!!! Delicious food (chocolate kugel - cremeschnitte and of course the raclette) and sit quietly at the front or on the sun terrace at the back. Very atmospheric and sweet service. Definitely recommended

Every single dish is a visual and taste delight. Creative without being aloof. The staff is very friendly even when it's full. The ambience is homely, but it can't bear more than that. The number of guests is limited, it is very crowded and loud.

For the entire range of visitors! Best cuisine, courteous staff, family-friendly and great ambience.

We actually just wanted to stop for a quick snack. We liked the layout with the tables, decorations, etc. at first glance. After taking a look at the menu and dessert menu and the really nice, open-minded and funny service, we lingered a little longer. The main courses were on the table in less than 15 minutes and tasted very tasty! But the dessert topped it all off. I had the chocolate ball with ice cream🤤 I have rarely eaten such a delicious dessert! Absolute recommendation!🙂

Despite the large crowds (Sunday lunchtime), we received a very friendly welcome and were shown to a table after a short time. Super cool atmosphere and interior design. The food was simply great and the service (despite the hectic pace) was simply great. A must if you are in the region. Good sign: lots of locals coming here to eat...did I mention the ultimate cream cake 🤪?

We only ate something small. Cheese slices and a delicious Rösti with cheese. For dessert there was a delicious and unique cream slice. The service was excellent and always with a joke. Kind regards, we will definitely come back🥰😍😋

For a mountain restaurant, fine and beautifully prepared food at fair prices. The cream slices are rightly praised far and wide. Friendly and very patient and helpful staff. The ambience is a bit too geared towards the winter ski crowd and overall doesn't seem chic (as it is intended to be), but quite styleless and the decorations are overloaded.

Beautiful views, wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant with friendly service. Everything is delicious!

Food is not bad, though pricey, 3 stars because service was veeeeery long. I don’t mind to wait, but from arrival to first drinks -35 min, main-30 min, desserts anoooother 20 min. All in all 2,5h for one dish and dessert meal. Really too long even considering the vibe of the place. 3 times asked for the bill, and finally went to reception to pay as was too long and stuff seems forgot is. May be personal, but for me it kills the experience and even tastiest food wouldn’t bring joy when time is beyond logical.

This place is MAGICAL. The setting, the menu choices, and the attention of the staff make it an exceptional experience. Each visit reserves its pleasant surprise.

Great restaurant on Moosalp. Regardless of whether it's winter or summer, you should definitely eat something here. One of the best mountain restaurants I know. With great attention to detail, fantastic dishes are conjured up here and the service is also perfect. A place to relax indoors and outdoors. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent millefeuille, raclette, coffee,… in an exclusive mountain restaurant with beautiful corners and views and with a charming team (Carmen, Sergio,…) and in a beautiful environment with a spectacular road. I WILL BE BACK!

It's just a shame that it was closed last week in October. Make the best cream slices. But next year we'll manage to get back up there

Excellent cuisine. Desserts to die for...! In a truly beautiful setting.

We have been thrilled with the cuisine in the Moosalp restaurant so far. Unfortunately we were *disappointed* last weekend. The menu salad was neither fresh nor crunchy; the few ingredients in the salad were hand-picked. The cordon bleu, which was served much too small, was well filled with cheese, but without any side dishes, a misery on the plate. The potatoes (3 tiny ones) in the raclette were much too hard, the onions and cucumbers were not fresh and too soft, but the raclette was fine. Things are definitely getting better. Unfortunately, the food will not be remembered fondly. A pity. We left hungry and satisfied our hunger again a short time later in Törbel. However the service was brilliant.

We were stranded on the Moosalp at short notice and had the opportunity to enjoy a super mega dinner...plus the absolutely top hospitality from the service staff...that's how eating is fun
