Restaurant Nepomuk in Aesch (BL)

The food is very good. Huge menu and a few vegetarian dishes, all of which I unfortunately already know from regular visits. There could be a change there.

At first I thought it was an “elegant” cafe 😅. I was slightly surprised when I came in and the smell of smoke hit us. Well, smokers are also allowed to have their own smoking cafe...😅 Next time I'll avoid this place as a non-smoker. So NOTHING for non-smokers...!!!!

Very very fine Cordon Bleu, unfortunately I don't have a photo of it😭 Price-performance ratio is totally true👍

The food was great, the service was quick.

During our visit we had Fondue Bacchus with 4 different sauces, rice and French fries and, as a dessert, fine vermicelle. The portions are large enough. Everyone will find something to suit their taste on the wine list. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant was fully booked and we were served very quickly. We would like to come back.

A very romantically located restaurant with a large garden. A very well-stocked bar and very nice service. The hall is also beautifully decorated in white. The Birs flows directly past the Garden Restaurant and has a very calming effect. We have been here a few times and would love to come back.

An atmospheric location with a large terrace overlooking the River Birs and historic bridge. We had pork in cream sauce with noodles, and chicken cordon bleu, both of which were excellent. The waitresses were friendly and helpful, however the owner was not polite to us. The restaurant is easily accessible by tram #10 to the end of the line.

Food is good but service is... only if the boss "serves" - an absolute catastrophe and unreasonable! He's cheeky, rude, conceitedly arrogant and makes you wait forever in an empty restaurant. We don't need anything like that and so they saw us there.

I have to revise my rating: A worm has already been found in salad twice. There was nothing more than an apology and an embarrassed laugh. We even had to pay for it.... 🤢 Once the wine was spoiled (inedible) and then there were tedious discussions. It was just a cheap bottle of house wine... 🤷‍♂️The food was otherwise always good and it's centrally located. The parking garage is also 1 minute away. We'll never come back though...

Nice atmosphere, great sun terrace directly above the Birs. Food not expensive and pretty good. Also suitable for a beer after work. Very good selection, reasonably priced but not cheap. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were served happily.

Very good food and nice service, great. It also has a smoking room and a non-smoking room and a terrace with a view of the water - you can choose where you prefer to sit.

We experienced incredibly poor service at Nepumok today. When we asked about the food 1 1/4 hours after ordering, instead of an apology, we received the answer: "The food was simply forgotten." As a result, the unfriendly waiter didn't hesitate to make us wait another 15 minutes after ordering twice after receiving the bill. As if that wasn't enough, the food cooked with far too much fat/oil was completely exaggerated in terms of price/performance ratio.

This is my favorite restaurant when I'm in the area. Always very well received and the food is very good!! I recommend without hesitation. When the weather permits, you can also enjoy their large terrace by the water!

Was the first time in the new Nepomuk. Friendly, cozy definitely outside.

An absolute disaster. The owner is cheeky and rude, and he has zero ability to criticize. I found the sausage salad garnished to be way too expensive at 19.50. It was presented to me carelessly and unattractively on a plate. The salad dressing from the bottle. The owner asked me if it was good, I replied no. Why does he ask me if he can't take criticism!! Afterwards, I could clearly hear him making fun of me with someone else. He told me not to come to this restaurant anymore. I will definitely never do that again and I certainly won't recommend it to others. zero stars!!!!!

Wir wollten als Familie zu Mittag essen. Leider war der Service von Anfang an absolut unfreundlich und arrogant. Die Bestellung wurde falsch aufgenommen und dann dem Gast (der korrekt bestellt hat) die Schuld gegeben. Preis-Leistung vom essen ist mehr als mangelhaft. Nie wieder!!

Misleading menu and no insight Unfortunately my lunch ended with a nasty surprise when I got the bill. Since I like to take advantage of the lunch menus on offer, I also ordered the perch fillet here, which was advertised as menu 2. I also ordered this as a “perch fillet”. During the lively conversation with my companion, I didn't notice that the soup of the day was missing and that perch fillet was served straight away. When I did the bill, I was surprised by the amount and asked the staff. He pointed me to the perch fillet, which costs 33.50 francs at the bottom of the menu. If I had wanted the perch fillet from the menu, then I should have specifically ordered the "Menu2"! Of course, he didn't ask when he took the order, which I found quite appropriate at this point. The reaction to the very misleading card surprised me, but above all the subsequent stubborn attitude on the part of the staff left me no choice but to write this negative review. Of course I had to pay the price difference of 14.-! Apparently the restaurant can afford to approach such situations with an accusatory attitude and no courtesy towards the customer. Definitely my last visit to this restaurant.

Has a very nice TERRACE with lots of sun. It's very COZY here and right on the Birs and Nebomuk Bridge. Can do well Garlic spghetthi, Greek salad. Food and other things. Good coffee available.

Unfriendly service and very bad coffee, very thin and seems to have been run through the machine several times. I wanted to pay by card, which the waiter said: what? they want to pay 10 francs by card....

The food is great, always fresh! They make the food the way you want it, no ifs and buts about it. Nice service, always happening. Definitely recommended.

I had a very good meal here today. Contrary to expectations, the salad dressing was one of the best I have ever enjoyed in my 59-year-old life. Accompanied by a wonderful veal sausage with onion sauce and hash browns. That worked. I can only recommend it to anyone who is hungry in Dornach. He definitely won't be disappointed here.

Cozy average restaurant. Friendly, if not entirely attentive, staff. The food was ok. Unfortunately there were only plastic plants on the tables.

The Nepomuk restaurant is located 500m from the train station, close to shops and public transport. This restaurant has a wide variety of menus, desserts and a good wine list. It has a lovely terrace overlooking the river, the interior is well lit with large windows at each end.

As always, the food was very good and the service was great too.
