Beautiful oasis with a fine and exquisite breakfast buffet

We enjoyed the Parkhotel from Saturday-Tuesday. Friendly and helpful staff. A rather small, but even more comfortable sauna area with a wonderful view of the lake and the opportunity to swim in the lake. The relaxation room couldn't quite cope with the rush of sauna-goers on Sunday. The double room with a view of the lake and a spacious balcony (1st floor) was great. The double bed had two mattresses, which was a bit annoying, but apparently there are also comfortable solutions. The breakfast buffet is very rich, different types of cheese, bread and seems rather down-to-earth. I lacked a bit of creativity. Instead of serving eggs and bacon every day, you could also serve grilled vegetables, hummus, guacamole, etc. But that is criticism at a high level. Big plus point: Spa area can be used even after checking out.

I stayed here for 6 nights in March 2024 and I would definitely go back for longer. The room I selected and stayed in (booked through the hotel's own website but administered by a partner company) was a single room with balcony and lake view. The room was a decent size - not the biggest and not the smallest - with just about enough shelf and wardrobe space to arrange my clothes. There was a small safe which was big enough for a tablet (11" screen) but not big enough for my laptop (13"). There was a table and chair and sockets below the table and beside the bed. Unfortunately, there was no fridge but, being March, I was at least able to leave my carton of milk and my butter on the balcony to keep them from going off. The bathroom was small but I wasn't sleeping in there so no big deal. The wash-hand basin was a good size and the pressure from the shower was great. The balcony was equipped with a table and chair (no arms). The view across the lake to the mountains on the opposite side was tremendous, especially with blue skies above and a bit of morning mist on the lake. The hotel, which has quite a grand entrance foyer and lounge area, was in a good condition and was clean and well-presented. The grounds are very nice and well-maintained and would be a great place to spend time on warm days. Breakfast offered a plentiful supply of food and a machine for coffees, hot and cold milk (eg for hot chocolate to which you add a sachet of Caotina or Ovomaltine) and hot water for tea (with a variety of teas on offer. If you are looking for pastries, your waistline will thank you for their absence. On the subject of waistlines, there is a gym room which is quite small but reasonably well equipped for its size. It has an upright bike, a recumbent bike, a treadmill a cross-trainer and a rowing machine. There are also weights machines, dumbells and, I think, a Swiss ball (who would have expected that!). The Bootshaus spa was tremendous. You need to change before you go there and wear the hotel-provided robe. Slippers are also provided but I just used my outdoor shoes which get left in a shoe rack in the entrance vestibule. Once inside the Bootshaus, there is a relaxation room with loungers on the ground floor and a hot tub on ground floor level which is outside (though I didn't feel cold from the outside air). The hot tub section also provides access via a short spiral staircase to the lake - I got in as far as my knees and decided to return to the hot tub! On the upper floor, there is a large Finnish sauna and a small bio sauna and a small steam room. It is necessary to remember your towel to place on the wooden slats under your body (whether sitting or lying) so that you don't drip sweat on them. Just so that you are clear, the saunas, steam room and hot tub are to be used clothing-free and the relaxation room seemed to be the only room where robes were worn. I was in the Bootshaus every evening but there was only one of the evenings where it was quite busy. On a couple of the evenings, I more or less had the entire place to myself. The hotel is in a great location in Gunten Dorf only a hundred yards from the Gunten Dorf bus stop. A number 25 bus will take you there from Thun (departing from outside the Co-op across from the train station when exiting from the platform 1 side). A number 21 bus will take you there from Interlaken Ost station (exit the station on the platform 1 side and you will see a large Co-op opposite and a line of bus shelters just next to the station building so the no 21 bus departs from the right hand end of the bus shelters) or Interlaken West station (right next to the station platforms). It is fairly easy to take excursions from the hotel because of its proximity to Thun. I went to Bern, Luzern, Gstaad, Grindelwald, Murren (and Piz Goria atop the Schilthorn). Other options: St Beatus caves which are a short bus ride away, Harder Hulm at Interlaken, the Reichenbach Falls and boat trips on Thunersee and Brienzersee (though Thunersee wasn't operational at the time I was there).

A truly exceptional hotel set in a breathtaking environment. This destination offers all the amenities you could ask for, including a rejuvenating sauna, gym and seminar facilities! 🛎️ 🍽️ 🏞️ 😅 🏋️ 🙇 Despite being a 3-star hotel, it merits a 5-star Google score! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very beautiful hotel from the moment you step in. We chose the Junior Suite with Lake View and the view from the window was magnificent. Breakfast was also great. Car park is available for both ICE and EV. Only thing I wished could be better was the service which could have been quicker.

The website promised: “A stylish ambience in a relaxed atmosphere, fascinatingly beautiful location, enjoyable restaurant with a seasonal menu, fresh from the market, imaginative and enjoyable.” Put it to the test! That's exactly how I found out about the restaurant visit on March 1st, 2024 at lunchtime. Versatile but not overloaded card. The fish? Fresh from the lake on the menu. The whitefish on the “Johannes” fish plate were caught by the last professional fisherman of the same name on Lake Thun and were classically served with beautifully seasoned boiled potatoes, white wine sauce and spinach. I also really enjoyed the aperitif in the lounge right by the lake. The staff were cheerful, attentive and professional. Overall, the price-performance ratio was pleasing, and the price structure was really fair, even for the open wines. Bravo. An absolutely recommended address. (A little note: Without word of mouth I probably would never have visited the restaurant because I assumed it was very expensive and reserved for hotel guests.)

SUPER service in a best location on the lake Personal attention and excellent wine cellar

We visited this amazing place with our family on the weekend. We will definitely come here again. The room is clean, there is beauty outside, fresh air and a delicious breakfast. The feather pillows were not comfortable for us to sleep on and need to be replaced. This made our necks hurt in the morning. Generally go with your own pillows :) Even after the sauna you had to wait 40 minutes until the other guests left to get into the hot tub. It is necessary to set the arrival limit in the hot tub so that other people do not wait in the hallway. Attached you will find beautiful photos of this beautiful place.

Parkhotel Gunten blends perfectly well in the classy, more laidback atmosphere at the northern shore of Lake Thun. Centrally located, it's a short ride to all the major attractions of the Berner Oberland. The setting is stunning, with amazing views over the lake and the high Berner peaks - if weather permits of course. Rooms are clean and practical, the staff is very helpfull and the restaurant is a gem: good food at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for your service !

We were allowed to spend three days in the hotel. The rooms are very clean. Nice view from the room with a lake view. The food in the restaurant was excellent! The service is friendly and helpful! Yes, a wonderfully beautiful place where the Park Hotel is! Yes, a wonderful wellness area: the view from the Finn sauna is unique. Yes, the food is rich and creative. Luckily there are 1/2 portions. Yes, the people who create the atmosphere, the employees are very present and courteous. Yes, the lounge is beautiful! Depending on the position of the sun, a sauna in clothes. So beautiful. No, the non-stop coverage of the pop SRF station irritates my unwinding and is therefore disturbing. During previous stays I had already given the impulse to alternate the styles, with Radio Swiss Classic, Radio Swiss Jazz and Radio Swiss Pop. Yes, it could well be that I am an exception with this perception. January! No, installing headphones with your own music or earplugs doesn't seem relaxing either... Hm, actually this factor is a talking point for another stay, as the lounge is an extraordinary place, with its height, with the view AND is newly equipped with an electric grand piano, which I used without objection from the management, although I set it to a low level. was allowed to revive. Our stay at the Parkhotel Gunten had many advantages - hence 5/5 stars. What we found most pleasant was the service. As a guest, you quickly notice the good working atmosphere among the employees and feel comfortable.

Fantastic location on Lake Thun with a beautiful park with comfortable lounge chairs and other seating options to linger. Interior design partly in the style of bygone days, several rooms and rooms also modernly furnished or renovated. Breakfast buffet varied. Big plus point: egg dishes fresh from the kitchen. Fish for dinner was very nice. Beautiful modern spa in the boathouse, including a great sauna & whirlpool with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Very friendly reception. Breakfast buffet inviting and extensive. The cuisine is excellent! Rooms very clean and attractive. Spa in the boathouse is very nice. Unfortunately, on our last two visits, it was almost “overcrowded” on some days. Thank you very much for the generous upgrade on our last visit. We were there as a family, 6 adults. Persons. Our daughters also felt very comfortable. For us a 3-star hotel with 4-star service. We'll meet Again.

Everything was tip top, gladly again. Only the glass walls of the bathroom/toilet in the designer room are irritating. The improvised curtain that was added later doesn't change things: a little more privacy on the house wouldn't be bad... Anyway, the rest is great as I said...

Beautiful and time-honored hotel. The bathrooms are a bit old but we didn't find that bothersome at all. That's probably why it's a great value for money. The hotel location and the beautiful old trees in the park are fantastic. We also really enjoyed the great spa right by the lake on the day of arrival and departure :-) Thank you very much!

It was my first time alone as a man in the hotel. I felt comfortable traveling alone, had short conversations when I wanted to and felt integrated. I was able to recover well and find peace. The service was always very friendly and accommodating. For me, the location with its park is a wonderful, wonderful, well-kept place, an oasis to feel good.

The staff in the restaurant and at the reception are very friendly and accommodating!! The location of the hotel is also great 👍! The spa area is a bit small but overall just great with panoramic views of the lake and mountains with direct access to the lake.

Die à-la-carte Menukarte verfügt über vielfältige Gerichte - so findet sich für jeden Gast ein super Menu. Ich habe mich beim Hauptgang für für ein vegetarisches Gericht entschieden - die Falafel waren ausgezeichnet. Alle Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet und die Speisen sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Wir wurden sehr nett und aufmerksam bedient. Herzlichen Dank für einen unvergesslich schönen Abend am Thunersee.

Als wir das Restaurant betraten, schob ein Angestellter (Chef de Servic) direkt Panik wegen der Covid19 Registrierung. So eine unfreundlichen Empfang haben wir in diesem Restaurant noch nie erlebt. Schlussendlich war das Vermicelles auch "Furz trocken, denn die Schlagsahne fehlte komplett.

Als Gäste zur Hochzeit im Parkhotel eingeladen, waren wir sogleich von dessen herrlichen Lage am See und der mondänen Ausstrahlung beeindruckt. Der sehr reichlich aufgetragene Apéritiv war ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr engagiert. Das Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt, ausgesprochen gut zubereitet und schön serviert. Das Gemüse perfekt, noch leicht knackig, Roastbeef in perfekter Weise angebraten und innen wie es sein muss! Mit Nachschlag, selbstverständlich. Einzig die seltsam schmeckende Schokocreme zum Dessert hat allgemeines Befremden ausgelöst. Aber insgesamt eine Top Leistung, eine so grosse Gesellschaft mit derart ausgezeichnetem Essen zu verwöhnen!

Le restaurant dispose d'une jolie vue et par beau temps d'une belle terrasse avec vue sur lac.Niveau plats, on se situe sur du traditionnel bien exécuté (viande, poisson, plat veggie, etc).Les desserts font également l'objet d'une attention particulière, mention spéciale à la glace aux noix.Néanmoins, en tant que Français habitués à "la bonne bouffe", nous avons trouvé les prix de 7 à 10 € (ou CHF) trop chers pour ce que c'était. Peut-être est-ce dû au pouvoir d'achat suisse plus élevé mais cela doit être signalé pour éviter les mauvaises surprises.Idem pour le fromage qui mériterait d'être sorti plus tôt du frigo que juste avant d'être servi (avis de Français, je le rappelle).La qualité est au rendez-vous dans tous les cas mais elle se paye.

Super Lage des Hotes. Selten in dieser Preisklasse! Unser Zimmer war ein schönes, sauberes Eckzimmer mit Sicht auf den See. Wunderbar die Sicht. Wir hatten sogar zwei Balkone und nahmen dafür gerne das etwas in die Jahre gekommene, aber einwandfreie Bad in Kauf.Absolutes Highlight: Der liebevoll gepflegte Garten. Da kann man problemlos den ganzen Tag verweilen.Die Küche ist frisch, einfallsreich und sehr fein. Auf meine Spezialwünsche als Allergikerin wurde gut eingegangen, so dass ich eine absolut problemfreie Woche hatte.Auf Wünsche und Anliegen wurde freundlich und fantasievoll eingegangen. Generell sehr freundliche Menschen.

The Restaurant was recommended as being very good. The food was adequate, but the service was terrible. We (party of 4) arrived well before a large party and hurried to place our orders. The large party took complete precedence and we were, essentially ignored. Our food arrived, but no one came to check on the temperature, re-fill water, drinks for the entire meal. There was no interest or concern shown, nor an explanation for their poor service.

Schönes Hotel, sensationelle Lage, gutes Essen und top Bedienung. Der Aufenthalt im Parkhotel lohnt sich, dieser Park und diese Aussicht ist schlicht grossartig.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit à l'hôtel Gunten en juillet. Le gros point fort de cet hôtel c'est à n'en pas douter l'endroit. La vue sur le lac et les montagnes est à couper le souffle d'autant plus que nous avons eu un temps magnifique. S'endormir et se réveiller avec cette vue a quelque chose de magique. La bâtisse est également superbe et apporte beaucoup de charme au lieu. Nous avons dîné au restaurant sur la terrasse le soir de notre arrivée et avons très bien mangé. Les plats étaient raffinés et de bonne qualité. Petit déjeûner très bien également. Si je n'ai mis qu'un 4/5 c'est parce que les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'endroit. Nous avions réservé une chambre vue lac et j'ai été déçue. Chambre quelconque sans aucun effort de déco, pas très grande, pour un prix au-dessus des 300CHF. La veille nous avions dormi au Schlossberg à Thun pour moins que cela et avions la plus belle chambre de l'hôtel qui méritait amplement son tarif. Donc oui très bien, bon service, personnel aimable et serviable, une vue à tomber, mais on a vraiment l'impression de payer cher la vue. J'ai adoré l'expérience mais choisirai probablement un autre hôtel la prochaine fois.

It must the the perfect place to have dinner on a hot summer evening. Especially as it is not as hot as everywhere else, thanks to the trees and the breeze from the lake. The park is wonderful, an enchanted oasis. The food is fine and staff are nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

Das Ambiente im Gartenrestaurant ist wunderschön. Das Mittagsmenü gut, der Service heute eher etwas überfordert. Auf jeden Fall werde ich sonst gegrüsst, was heute leider nicht der Fall war. Aber es war ja auch extrem heiss und der Weg vom Garten ins Restaurant und wieder zurück halt doch mühsam.

Schönes Restaurant, nicht überladen, mit toller Aussicht auf Thunersee und Berge. Ansprechende Speisekarte. Wir haben uns für Felchenfilet aus dem Thunersee entschieden, eine ganze und eine halbe Portion. Beide Portionen, sehr schön präsentiert, entsprachen unseren Erwartungen. Service freundlich und speditiv. ! Preis und Leistung stimmen 100% ! Wir kommen gerne wieder zu Euch nach Guten !

You won't regret it, Best gnocchi dish I've ever had (dinner portion). Husband is hard to please, he loved every bite of his meal, too.

Wir (6 Erw., 3 Kinder) verbrachten 2 Nächte mit HP im Parkhotel. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und gut gelaunt. Da nimmt man die langen Wartezeiten und das "sympathische Chaos" in Kauf. Abendessen und Frühstücksbuffet tiptop. Abzug gibts fürs Gebäude: Manche mögen klapprige Fahrstühle, verrostete Markisen und altmodische Teppichböden charmant finden, für mich bedeutet es nur Renovationsstau.

Die kulinarischen Kreationen bei Pensionsaufenthalt lassen keine Wünsche offen. Buffetangebote (1. August und Silvester) lassen keine Wünsche offen!

Sehr gute freundliche und kompetente Bedienung, Menuauswahl vielseitig, das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Gute Weinauswahl zu vernünftigen Preisen. Man fühlt sich wohl hier!

Wenn man Lust auf schön angerichtete Menües hat, welche auch super schmecken, dann hat man hier gefunden was man sucht. Preislich ist es dafür auch eher gehoben. Die Bedienung war eine "einheimische" was ich sehr zu schätzen weiss. Für Familien nur bedingt geeignet, da draussen kein Spielplatz ist, dafür drinnen, dieser aber in einem seperaten raum bischen abseits des Restaurants

Viele lokale Fischgerichte, aber auch Fleischklassiker und Vegi mit lokaler Ware produziert.Sehr freundliche Bedienung die selbständig innen und außen parallel reserviert damit wir Gäste den reservierten Tisch bei jedem Wetter garantiert haben. Zum Glück nicht überbordende Portionen! Gute Weinauswahl.Sehr schöner Park mit altem Baumbestand.

Magnifique hôtel situé dans un endroit de rêve au bord du lac de Thoune. Très accueillant et chaleureux, classieux, magnifique intérieur, belles chambres, SPA unique donnant directement sur le lac, Menu du soir et petit déjeuner excellent, très raffiné! Beaucoup de choix au buffet du petit déjeuner. Grande classe!

Nous voulions aller dans un autre restaurant du lieu mais il était complet, je me suis donc rabattu sur le restaurant du ParkHotel qui propose aussi un déjeuner en terrasse devant le très beau lac de Thoune. A l'arrivée on est agréablement surpris par le très beau parc au bord de l'eau, agrémenté de bancs, tables, chaises relax et autres petites attentions pour satisfaire une clientèle exigeante. La terrasse qui accueille les tables du déjeuner est juste un peu en retrait mais cela ne gêne en rien la vue sur le lac quand on est à table.Passons au but de la visite: le déjeuner. On se laisse tenter par deux Spritz Aperol qui se sont révélés honteusement chers: CHF 9.50 le verre!Le menu du jour était composé d'une petite salade à la grecque suivie d'une piccata à la milanaise...mais faite avec une tranche de porc qui, bien que tendre, reste du porc; prix des deux plats: CHF 30.- ma femme a trouvé bon. Je me suis laissé tenté par des filets de poisson du lac, la féra, découpés en morceaux et frits ils furent joliment et suffisamment servis avec une très bonne sauce tartare et des pommes vapeur; ce plat était un délice, CHF 30.-En desserts, à CHF 10.50 pièce, une meringue glacée très généreusement servie et une coupe Danemark à la glace vanille onctueuse.Le tableau a été une nouvelle fois entaché d'un bémol : nous avions commandé une bouteille d'eau minérale gazeuse d'un litre et vous avons vu arriver sur la table une carafe d'eau (certainement du robinet gazéifiée maison) au prix injustifiable de CHF 8.50!! Dommage que ces fausses notes aient un peu terni notre satisfaction mais on saura comment faire la prochaine fois. Bon service mais les deux seules personnes furent parfois un peu dépassées. Nous reviendrons assurément pour le joli cadre paisible et la restauration d'un bon niveau.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen mit lokalen Spezialitäten (Forelle und Egli aus dem Thunersee), toller Aussicht auf Thunersee und Berner Alpen und aufmerksamem, aber unaufdringlichem Service. Familienfreundlich: Kindermenukarte und Spielzimmer im Soussol! Nicht ganz billig, aber Preis/Leistung stimmt: Wir (Eltern und 2 Kinder) haben für ein Nachtessen mit Vorspeise, Wein, Dessert und Kaffee knapp 220 Franken bezahlt.

Während eines Tagesausfluges am Thunersee kehrten wir kurzentschlossen im Parkhotel ein.Wie es sein sollte, bekamen wir einen Tisch direkt am See. Unter den Bäumen lässt es sich wunderbar sein.Die Mittagskarte ist klein, bietet aber jegliche Varianten. Wir wählten natürlich Fisch vom See, und bei diesem Prachtswetter, einen Salat.Das bestellte Essen kam sehr zügig, und war von bester Qualität. Wirklich nett angerichtet, und mit frischen Blumen dekoriert.Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, speditiv und freundlich.Ein Zwischenstopp, der sich gelohnt hat.

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal in diesem Hotel in den letzten Jahren, und die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft. Das Restaurant, jedoch konnte erheblich profitieren von einem neuen Küchenchef. Das Essen ist etwas, das man ertragen müssen für das Vergnügen, in einer wunderschönen Lage, aber es ist selten genießbar. Wir waren auf jeden Fall nicht die einzigen Gäste, die sich dies Weg.

Wir waren am Samstagabend bei schönstem Wetter mit Freunden zum Nachtessen auf der Seeterasse. Beim Hineinfahren auf den vollen Parkplatz wurden wir vom Hoteldirektor bzw. Gastgeber persönlich in die Tiefgarage gewiesen. Die Bedienung aller Mitarbeitenden ist höchst zuvorkommend und freundlich auch an diesem Abend obwohl alle Tische ausgebucht und gleichzeitig noch ein Hochzeit zum Essen war. Da braucht es ein bisschen Verständnis dass es ein bisschen länger dauert. Zur Vorspeise gäbe es sehr guten Gemischten Salat zum Hauptgang Felchen aus dem Thunersee auf Spinat, Wienerschnitzel und Rindstatar. Alles in bester Qualität. Nach dem Essen erkundigte sich der Gastgeber persönlich bei den Gästen. Wir kommen sicher wieder ins Parkhotel. Die Lage der Park sind wirklich einmalig. Im Haus herrscht ein guter Geist und das Essen und die Umgebung sind sehr ruhig und entspannend. Herzlichen Dank dem ganzen Team, macht weiter so.

We had a visit in the restaurant with a beautifull view, sadly to say but the food we had was extremely poor, service low and price high although we know that zwitserland in price is higher than other european countries. Tables and seats were uncomfortable and the atmosphere was verry cold. I would never visit this restaurant again.

Entspannend, freundlich, schön am see, schöner park, frühstück super, nachtessen köstlich, spa top immer wider gerne!

Waren letzte Woche im Restaurant. Die Begrüssung war ausgezeichnet. Wir wussten nicht, was uns erwartet. Die Karte ist ausgezeichnet aufgebaut. Man findet sofort etwas passendes. Vom Preisniveau her genau richtig. Preis / Leistung absolut top. Neuer Küchenchef am Werk, dies merkt man. Blerim und Jon bedienten uns. Zwei absolute Profis, man merkt ihnen an, dass ihnen der Job Spass macht. Für alle die gerne einen wunderbaren Ausblick, wahrscheinlich das schönste Restaurant direkt am See, geniessen, empfehle ich das Parkhotel Restaurant. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir genossen als Gruppe ein wunderbares Abendessen im Parkhotel Gunten. Bei den Menüs wurden wir ideal beraten und waren mehr als begeistert vom Resultat. Die Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet und man merkte sofort, dass ausschliesslich mit regionalen und qualitativen hochwertigen Produkten gearbeitet wird. Das Personal war äusserst freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Jeder in unserer Gruppe war mit dem Angebot wie auch dem Service ausgesprochen zufrieden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall in Zukunft wieder kommen und können das Parkhotel zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren zu 6. zum Abendessen im Restaurant des Parkhotel Gunten. Wir bestellten alle unterschiedliche Gerichte und das Essen kam unverzüglich und heiss auf den Tisch. Besonders die einheimischen Fischgerichte waren ein hit. Aber auch die Fleischspeisen waren ausgezeichnet. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis, für die Lage, den super Service, die tolle Küche und das stimmige Ambiente war mehr als gut! Wir kommen wieder. Garantiert!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Parkhotel Gunten verbracht. Die neue Rezeption ist richtig schön geworden. Der Park ist sehr gepflegt und der schönste am Thunersee. Das Abendessen der Gruppe ging sehr zügig. Leere Gläser hatte niemand. Das Essen war super! Der neue Küchenchef ist sehr kompetent. Das Servicepersonal ist unglaublich freundlich und immer zu lustigen Sprüchen aufgelegt. Unsere Zimmer waren komfortabel und das Bett sehr bequem. Es war ein toller Abend und ich bedanke mich herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft!Das Restaurant ist 100% weiterzuempfehlen.

Sehr schöner Wellnessbereich im Bootshaus. Essen war gut aber nichts Besonderes. Personal und Kellner leider sehr unfreundlich.

Zum ersten Mal im Park Hotel, nicht zum Übernachten sondern zum Silvester Menü. Wir sind total begeistert. Von dem grossartigen Ambiente, das sehr nette, hilfsbereite Personal die immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen haben. Die musikalische Begleitung am Piano war toll. Ein super leckeres Buffet, mit vielen Vorspeisen, Hauptgang und reichlich Nachtisch. Ein Lob an den Küchenchef !Beim Lotto mitgespielt, leider nichts gewonnen :-) Zum Jahreswechsel wurden wir in den tollen Park geführt und es gab einen leckeren Sekt. Zu guter Letzt, ein herzliches Dankeschön an den tollen, überaus netten Chef der mit Herzblut bei seinen Gästen ist. Wir kommen wieder

Das Restaurant, insbesondere die Terrasse in der Parkanlage sind traumhaft gelegen und wunderschön gestaltet. Die Karte ist klein aber fein, die Preise eher hoch. All dies würde einen Top Service erwarten lassen - leider ist dem nicht so. Ich habe zweimal in diesem Restaurant in der selben Woche in zwei verschiedenen Servicegruppen gespiesen und der Service ist in allen Belangen einfach nur mangelhaft. Lange Wartezeiten, man wird schlichtweg übersehen und vergessen. Für den Preis der Speisen erwarte ich geschultes Personal welches seinen Job versteht und einen Chef der sich um yie schon mehrfach zitierten Probleme in diesem Bereich kümmert.

Ich war mit einer grossen Gruppe (80 Personen) dort zum Nachtessen. Wir durften auch den Park benutzen, er ist traumhaft. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung freundlich und fröhlich. Zu empfehlen!!

Das Personal war überdurchschnittlich freundlich aber keine Profis (angelernt).Wir mussten lange warten bis das Essen serviert wurde. Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Es wurde dekorativ angerichtet. Die Menge der Mahlzeiten war selbst für Frauen nicht ausreichend, geschweige für Männer. :-))Die Lage des Hotels/Restaurant und das Interieur sind schön. Preis-Leistung lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Spa im Bootshsus klein aber fein. Anschließend gehört ein 3 - Gang Wahl Menü im Restaurant dazu. Essen sehr sehr lecker und freundliche Bedienung mit auch dem nötigen Humor. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr durchschnittlich, aber der Preis hoch für Leistung. Der Service war schlecht - es war mehr als eine Stunde zwischen Bestellung und Erhalt unserer Mahlzeit, und erst nachdem wir gefragt. Die Kellnerin nur gesagt es tut uns leid, die Küche ist heute langsam. Das Hotel ist ganz nett, aber das Restaurant ist überhaupt nicht gut.

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf das Restaurant: Das Essen war durchschnittlich gekocht mit viel zu kleinen Portionen. Absolut überteuert.

Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung war hervorragend! Zudem lädt die Ambiance in diesem Hotel-Restaurant zum Geniessen ein, insbesondere der Park!

Menü Optionen sind voll mit lokalen Teller. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut und wurde schön präsentiert in eleganter Weise. Das Personal war freundlich und professionell, und das Restaurant ist die Einrichtung war schick.

Drei verschiedene Fleisch- und Fischfondues auf einmal. Grosse Auswahl an hausgemachten Saucen und viele verschiedene Beilagen.

Wunderschöne Terasse im Sommer mit eigenem kleinen Park. Sehr schöner alter Baumbestand. Sehr gut geeignet für Familien mit Kindern da auch ein Spielzimmer vorhanden ist.

Wunderschöne Lage am Thunersee mit tollem Garten direkt am Ufer. Sehr guter, professioneller Service. Interessante Speisekarte, gute Mischung aus traditionellen Gerichten und originellen Kombinationen (z.B. Egli als Curry). Besonderer Fokus auf Fisch, aber auch gute Fleischgerichte. Gehobene Klasse, preislich aber im Rahmen.
